It has a good potential to be a freindly and nice place as the location is excellent - the management of the hotel is customer UNFREINDLY .. example .. you cannot take out your breakfast even if you have PREPAID it ...even you are late and cannot eat there you MUST eat there ... not willing to accomodate customer everything you request is rigidly turned down.. compared to neighbourhood hotels which are much more cusstomer oriented

Excellent landing spot in Mumbai. Right on the beach. Great pool. Extremely comfortable. Great staff. Breakfast was phenomenal.

this is a nice hotel, water front, 2 minute walk to the beach, staff are nice, buffet breakfast is good but there was a small cockroach on the dessert table, I did let 2 staff know but they said I am so sorry Ma'am, house keeping staff are very nice and very helpful, buffet dinner are not very good don't have good taste. also Alankar was very helpful checking us in,travel desk Ashish was great in arranging our ride and day tour.

It was a great stay overall however the policies with the hotel are a little strange. Such as when I left I had to wait 5-10 mins for the room to be checked over they had my card details. This should be highlighted as most people book a taxi to get to the airport.

The Sea Princess is not value for money, the cost is expensive and the main attraction is the swimming pool and beach. You cannot swim in the beach as it is dirty and the pool is constantly full of little kids completing swimming lessons. Additionally, my partner and I were denied access to the swimming pool as she did not have a cap to cover her long hair. Later that night there was a small child with long hair swimming in the pool without a cap with their father who also did not have a cap to cover there hair.
This is quite disappointing given the main reason for booking the hotel was to swim in the pool. This is not value for money and there are better alternatives, we stayed at several other hotels that did not have this require and we were not notified of this requirement prior to the booking.

Cleaning and porter staff were great. Restaurant, front desk staff are as bad as I have ever experienced in 30 years or travel in Asia and sub continent.
I had to get up every time I wanted something in the overpriced restaurant with for us poor food because the four or five staff wandering would not make eye contact or come anywhere near us. not busy. No excuse. Check out took forever as they needed to make sure i had not stolen the jug or whatever.
The beach is the most polluted I have seen in the last one or 2 thousand beaches I have visited.

Check out took approximate 40 minutes due to us being accused of opening the water bottle in the mini bar in the room.
Guests are advised to check the contents of the mini bar together with the hotel incase of any issues, which should then be addressed. Other you may face a great deal of inconveniences.

This property need a complete overhaul it’s dirty and outdated, the flashy lobby doesn’t compensate fir the rooms… not to mention lack of sound proofing given planes are landing next door and flying overhead

Netting covered window /view to block out scaffolding and neighbouring construction works.
Construction works sometimes at night during our stay in November 2022.
Old stains on carpet in corridors.

The location was good and the staff were friendly especially Brijesh in the reception. Food was good as well. Rooms were average size but no wardrobe space so live out of suitcase.

Wonderful hotel and very good value for money. Perfect location. Staff are very friendly and the restaurant is open full night so if you are late, you can always eat in the restaurant. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. One particular plus point Sea Princess have is that their bathroom mirror is of a special brand and does not become foggy after your shower. This we did not even find in Taj Lands End.

Checkin checkout is very slow
Every employee expects tips everyday. From room cleaner. Security guard to parking valet to the guy who opens door to the beach. Very sorry to see that hotel must not pay them enough

However, our experience changed totally once the Manager became aware of our unsatisfactory mode . He understood, supported where they could, remained open for guest suggestions - opinions.

Sadly, the temperature in the room & hotel was very uncomfortable as AC was constantly on - not always suitable to overseas visitors. Even after turning AC off in room, it was not ideal having to sleep in warm clothes !

Subtle waiting & stopping by service staff with perhaps? expectation of tips can seem uncomfortable esp to a Non Indian & overwhelming but thats Indian Culture ;)

my stay was for one night only and I had work in the same locality so that the reason I choose this hotel.
The hotel is old and used to be very good but unfortunately over the year the management has not upgraded infrastructure and it is run down and looks old.
Breakfast is very average.
Also at time of check there was a security deposit taken this was a old system followed by many hotels not so common now.

Great stay, the breakfast buffet was excellent, hotel clean. The room was nice with space for everything. The staff were helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything needed. Will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Mumbai. The pool wasn't open but that was due to government restrictions. Couldn't fault the hotel, am a happy customer.

Terrible service and experience. Started with a double charged for the booking. The hotel initially even refused to acknowledge till I furnished the proof. Subsequently, was alleged to use liquor out of the mini bar, which wasn't even kept. They have a classic modus operandi - the guest is never briefed on what is kept in the mini bar. At the time of check out, simply claim xxx was consumed. When confronted, come up with their own ledger claiming they had placed. This is an extremely poorly run property with the sole agenda to shaft the customer. Not worth the stay or experience. The staff is extremely greedy (for tips) and unprofessional in their conduct. Never stay here!

The duty manager anil yadav was so rude at the front desk. While checking also he was very inpolite. I belong to jaipur and did not know about the hotel policy. He made me sign a form and never informed about the no food policy. Told me to wat the food outside the hotel. When i asked if i should throw the food. He told me to go ahead. His behaviour was very very rude. Am surprised in a 5 start hotel like yours, how can a person and specially the duty manager could be so rude. He told me no food and drinks allowed once the food came. When i asked hin howcome liquor bottle went in the room. He changed his words and said only one bottle is allowed. Very disappointed with the unprofessionalisn and rude behaviour of mr anil yadav. I think he is in the wrong industry and needs training . Very very disappointed

I windet in this post corona times when labour people are sleeping hungry with no food that mr anil decides to throw away the food which could feed some needy person
Maybe the hotel management is paying him full salary unlike me that mr anil can afford to throw away food and have the luxury if being so rude at front desk and still secure a job
