Clean overall but the inside cabinet where the refrigerator was could’ve been wiped down better and the tray that holds the coffee was clearly not wiped out in awhile. Mr Clean Magic Eraser will take care of water stains in the bathroom.

All was good except the pictures on the wall were mildewed and the air conditioner was held up by blocks of wood. A/c was hard to cool room, never got down to where we had it set.

Our stay was mostly pleasant, and love that the facility was pet friendly. However, there wasn't really any designated area to walk your dog, and the grounds were not well kept. Most of the grassy area is shared with a fast food place and is covered with garbage and cigarette butts.

Rating so low because there was a 2 in cockroach in the bathroom in the morning when I woke up. For the price point I’m not expecting stuff like that. Breakfast was not great and didn’t keep it stocked even though there was still an hour left. I mentioned the bug to the front desk at checkout and he said “I’ll make sure to let housekeeping know”.

We stay here when we pass thru. It’s always nice and clean. Breakfast is pleasant. The bright spot is Monica, who works the front desk. She’s a ray of sunshine and a big asset to the hotel!

Monica checked us in and was super sweet! Overall the hotel was great and we would definitely stay here again! Pros: clean, quiet, close to highway, walking distance to several restaurants, safe area, easy parking, friendly staff, comfy beds and large rooms. Cons: some of the workout equipment was outdated, but I still got a good workout. Thats really it!

First of all, the good. Check in was fast and easy. On the 3rd floor, place was clean. Room was a good size. Staff was friendly. The bad. Stayed in room 319. Elevator continuously malfunctioned. You would press the button, it would light up, then just go away. Multiple issues. People coming up to 3 from 2 when they pushed 1, etc. Checked in at 2 (early check in much appreciated after long drive). They had someone power washing the portico from the time we got there until 8 pm at night. With the window of the room wide open below us. In 100 degree heat. Hallways were 85 degrees. Room was I don’t even know. We were so tired, wanted to eat and fall asleep, except the whole room was vibrating and the loudest noise coming up. Couldn’t fall asleep because the room would NOT cool down. Had to go out to the car at midnight to get our cooling towels and battery powered fans. Thought maybe we would sleep in-didn’t care about breakfast. Well guess what! Breakfast ended at 9, power washing started back up at 9:01 and woke us up. So now we are wide awake, angry, and now hungry. Packed up and left. It seemed like most guests were construction workers and I guess they only cared about their convenience. 3 stars because the cleanliness and size of room were 5 stars but the lack of AC and the noise were a 0 star. We were driving on our way to Galveston, needed a place to stay on way back but wanted to make sure it was decent. Got a AirBNB for trip back. Won’t be back here.

Staff was super friendly. Overall the property needs improvement. Weird smell-elevator feels unsafe and would go to different floors other than selected. Brown carpet is terrible-making you feel dirty. Area doesn’t feel safe.

We (family of 4) stayed one night on the third floor. Check in was fast and friendly. Our room was clean and kept a decent temperature. The beds were great and the linens were fresh. There was no mold in the bathroom. You can see average wear and tear throughout the hotel but the decor is pleasant. Breakfast was really good. They had build your own burrito, sausage patties, oatmeal, or Texas shaped waffles as your hot options. Various pastries, cereal, fruit, & yogurt were also available. The shining star was the coffee machine though, help yourself to a regular coffee or a latte, lots of options. The staff was incredibly helpful & pleasant! They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and ensured that we had everything we needed. Our one complaint was the temperature of the hallways of the third floor in the morning. We had an extended wait on the elevator and it got super uncomfortable. Also, not an issue for us but something to keep in mind, there are no USB ports in the rooms so remember your wall ports. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel room was in disrepair. The floor tiles in the bathroom were loose. The ceiling in the room had been repaired from a leak and it appeared that a non qualified person performed the repairs.

This place has pretty pictures on their website but a fresh coat of paint and some cleaning of some furniture is not going to hide behind the cracks. It's disgusting! I would go somewhere else but there are 8 of us and need 2 rooms. Denison all the way to Dallas is booked no rooms! Where to begin! Went through Expedia, they sent over info, and someone here put down that we were checking in the day after we were suppose to. They went ahead and got us another room. Next day we were going to be out all day so they were suppose to move our luggage to the new room. Got back and guess what they did not. I want to make clear that I was also being helped by the manager so he knows what is going on. Caught him coming out of elevator and he took me to the old room and helped get my stuff to the new room. You have people coming from everywhere eating all the food. They are constantly running out of food. I also want to make clear myself, husband, daughter, and 3 grand kids are here for a week. My other daughter and granddaughter are her for a few hours. There are a lot of sketchy people around here. The pool is inside and it's like a sauna. No circulation. Someone ripped one of the doors off. And the jacuzzi was filthy. Now let's get to the night (3 days later), my 2 grandkids came to stay and we opened up the sofa bed and I about threw up. Manager never responded to my messages
