Grandson enjoyed the pool while I enjoyed the hot tub. River view out off of the patio was very nice. Friendly staff. Nice room. Pleasant river walk out back door.

I love the Rogue River right outside my door..Beautiful. All the staff were great. Rooms are clean and quiet. AC was a plus in 100 degree plus weather. Nice pool and hot tub. Great old town feel with quaint shops walking distance. Macs diner and Miguels a plus.Rafting on the Rougue a must,just down the street.Cant wait to come back..

The Rogue River is right behind this hotel. Many of the rooms have a balcony or patio so you can sit and watch the river. Walk to dining in Shady Cove. Great location to slow down and enjoy your travel. Definitely plan to stay here next time I'm in the area.

The Edgewater Inn is a clean and comfortable place to stay when visiting Crater Lake National Park. Close to restaurants and grocery store. Has a nice view of the Rogue River out back. Drive to the National Park is about 75 minutes. I would recommend staying here when visiting Crater Lake.

Overall everything was great. Room was very clean, loved that we could see the river. Friendly staff. Several restaurants nearby. Quiet property. My main complaint would be that the air conditioner wasn't on while the room was unoccupied so it was very warm when we got there, took most of the night to cool down even after leaving the doors open for a while and the ceiling fan was on. I get turning the air down but when it's 80 degrees outside it shouldn't be off.

Some rooms open up directly to a river walkway on the back side. There are little tables outside the room and a bench on the other side of the walkway. The room was fine, but it had carpet and had a bit of a smell (not terrible, not mold, I just assume form the carpet or maybe a long time ago it was a smoking room?). It wasn’t a good deal for the price. Bed was fine. They don’t service the rooms automatically and basically give you the impression you could request it for individual days, although I didn’t request it.

A small simple motel, but good, in a very nice location near the river. Room was clean and had everything we needed, the pool included a hot-tub, and had towels. We had a very positive experience - way better than other similar motels during our trip. Will keep this place in mind for our next trip to the Crater Lake.

Established motel that is being kept up. Check-in was quick. Desk clerk quite helpful with area information. Large room. Adequate number of electrical outlets. Bed surpriseingly comfortable. More than sufficient number of towels. Allowed to use laundry facilities (even after closed time).

We liked having a river view and patio. The room itself was okay but the furnishings could be/should be updated The room also had a stale, humd odor to it. The morning coffee in the check-in area was great. Donuts would have been nice.

Although we weren't able to spend a ton of time in Shady Cove, we were VERY impressed by the Edgewater property!! It was beautiful on the river; we wish we had been there longer to enjoy the great facilities such as the clean outdoor pool.
