Very friendly staff, efficient check in and comfortable room. The ancient arcs accross from the hotel are illuminated at night and look beautiful. Althought the hotel offered breakfast for an additional fee, we decided to grab a coffee, pastries and fresh fruit at the food market accross from the hotel.

Small rooms but very clean with all that’s wanted and comfortable bed. The ladies on the desk were very friendly and very helpful, making it a very good stay. I would certainly stay again

Wonderful hotel a close walk from the center. Would stay there again!

I would stay at this hotel again just because the woman at check-in was so nice and helpful. But the room was very comfortable, the location was perfect, and I even got to enjoy the Saturday morning market across the street. It is a nice hotel and I would definitely go back.

Very Nice and cosy Hotel, included a back yard for sun bathing

The hotel is simple but clean. However, the surroundings do not have restaurants or places to enjoy leisure’s, and there are a lot of people with homeless aspect and the feeling is that you are not save

Quaint hotel with a family-run, personalized feel. Historic building tastefully renovated. Woman at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing- prepared to order. Close to central Montpellier. Farmers Market across the street was full of vendors and foods.

We loved staying here for 5 days. The hotel is located directly opposite ‘the arches’ on a quiet street and is an easy walk to the centre of town. The room wasn’t huge but perfectly fine and looked out over the garden. Both the bedroom and en-suite were beautifully designed. Staff are all exceptionally helpful and thoughtful and frequently checked that all aspects of our stay were fine. Breakfast in the garden was a great way to start each day with lovely bread, pastries and fresh fruit salad.
We also made use of the underground parking space nearby and the gym pass.
We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a lovely place with a nice atomsphere, staff are friendly while remaining professional and helpful. The garden is a lovely place to relax and also to have breakfast, which is normal continental, croissants, fruit, yoghurt etc.
It is in a good location, easy walking distance to center and all the sights.
The room was small which is why I said good for short stays but everything was spotlessly clean and it also had a bath as well as a shower and lots of hot water.
The main 'NEGATIVE' point is that the on street parking by the hotel is very expensive! However, not too far away we found 'INDIGO' underground parking which was more reasonable. The on street parking is free after 7p.m. until 9a.m. All in all a lovely stay.

A clean and basic hotel just 20 mins walk from Comedie Square. Rhe breakfast is limited breads no cheese or hams. Helpful stafd with directions and signs

I stay only for one day. The rooms were clean and the staff is friendly going above and beyond in customer service. I definitely will be back next time I visit the city.

Terrible experience overall.
Awful reception staff with an anti-customer attitude that I’ve almost never seen at any hotel. I asked for late checkout a few minutes before 11, as my family was nit as yet all packed, something that, in my experience, hotels ate happy to provide where necessary and where new guests aren’t waiting in the lobby for their rooms, but was told no, I had to be out if my room in a few minutes. Unbelievable. Terribly customer antagonistic.
Hotel design nice but room cramped and a tiny shower that insisted on putting water out into the floor. Wifi very slow.
A very bad experience overall. This hotel should be avoided

Nice small boutique hotel close to the center of Montpellier. Our room was nice and clean and had wonderful view into the garden an over the roofs of the neighborhood. Everybody is really nice, helpful and kind! You feel completely well treated.

Lovely breakfast. Rear garden with an orange tree has some seating space. A quiet cat was around, she was welcoming. Walking distance to the town centre.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful and cozy garden in the back of the hotel. Loved the location, walking distance to many attractions.

A small, family owned hotel, smallish rooms but comfortable beds and good shower. Lovely garden for breakfast, all the staff were really good and happy to help. In a nice quiet area, very near the old town. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is a converted old house. Decor a bit random but bathroom pristine. Breakfast in garden possible. On Saturday there is a fabulous food market right outside the door.

It has been a very pleasant stay. The area is very quiet, so you can sleeps very well. I would like to highlight the garden to drink something and take a breakfast.

Overal a nice hotel, but we stayed in a rather small room on the first stage, with no elevator.
Staff were kind, despite they had a big dog that sometimes was walking around unleashed.

Montpelier was a surprise tourist stop. The restaurants were top quality and reasonably priced. The town has a beautiful church and other sites to visit. It is also a convenient spot to go tour other cities like Arles and Pont du gard and the coastThe hotel is adorable but if you are sensitive to cigerette smoke, even though it is a non smoking hotel smoke resonates in the breakfast area

The room was a little small, but this was more than compensated by the friendly staff and the tropical garden in which one could have breakfast, light meals, etc. We enjoyed our 8-day stay greatly and were sorry to leave. The location was ideal, in a quiet area very near the old city as well as several parks. Le5, just down the street, is one of the better French restaurants in Montpelier, and we took full advantage.

This is such a lovely place for a stop in Montpellier. The hotel is very quaint yet beautifully decorated and above all great service. Anna offered to take our bags upstairs and also offered to help with our washing. That was such a life saver. Breakfast was delicious and served in the lovely garden. Will
Come again. Keep up the good work.

Les Arceaux is a short walk from the town center, next to an 18th-century aqueduct. The room was small (as European rooms often are) but well-appointed and very clean, and the air-conditioning was welcome. There are outdoor seating areas if you wish to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. We did not take the available breakfast, preferring to wander into town. There is a market under the aqueduct, right outside the front door. The neighborhood was pretty quiet.

Hotel was adequate and in a good location for an easy walk into town - some nice quirky touches with decor and some of the staff very helpful and friendly - but it felt more like a b&b overall - small extras would have made a difference to us eg kettle in room, also a safe - once we came back to the hotel in the evening it would have been nice to have a bar or lounge to sit in or to be able to make a cuppa - there is a garden but as we were being plagued by mozzies we didnt really want to sit outside - bathroom lovely - very smart - cute little balcony

As seasoned independent travellers we were delighted to discover this truly stylish, traditional small French hotel in the middle of vibrant Montpellier. The staff were very helpful and friendly and waited on us with efficent good humour. We had a superior room with a brand new bathroom and comfortable king size bed. Drinks and meals were served in the luxuriant gardens. The breakfast was continental but very generous with cereals, fruit, ham, cheese, croissants, rolls, pain chocolate and yogurts if you wanted them. It was only a short pleasant 10 mins walk to the historic old town and the tram stop for the city centre was only a 3 minute walk away.

This hotel is slightly off-centre but a pleasant walk into town with lovely views at the park beside the aqueduct. The garden is a peaceful oasis to relax for a continental breakfast served until 11.00am. The rooms upstairs are quite compact but have nice modern decor of a high standard. The superior rooms are precisely that and worth the extra cost. The owner/manager was very welcoming and helpful.

It was the last night of our holiday in France so I booked this hotel because it wasn't far from the airport. The hotel was located in a commercial district so I wasn't expecting much; however, I was very pleasantly surprised because we were upgraded to a suite and everything about the room, the staff and even the breakfast the next morning, were all exemplary. I stay in a lot of hotels but this place was really impressive - I'd definitely stay here again.

We booked a hotel in Palavas not knowing how horrible it was and immediately left. So this was booked very last minute and we could not have been happier. Everyone was friendly and the room was very clean. It was incredibly convient to shops and dining. It was a total gem and we will return. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very friendly staff. Hotel slightly outside the main tourist area but made parking easier. Room small but comfortable. Good coffee and croissants for breakfast.

This hotel is well situated within easy reach of the old part of town. Although we were in a room at the front of the hotel and slept with our window open we were not disturbed by traffic noise. The bed was comfortable. The glass bathroom door was less convenient when the other person had the light on in the middle of the night. No code for wifi was much appreciated.
The staff were completely charming and helpful.
One of the best things was the garden! It is beautiful, peaceful and secluded, and it is so civilised to be able to eat breakfast late!
I would definitely stay here again.

Small boutique hotel with lovely garden. Staff are friendly but need training in service. this is a common problem in boutique hotels. As an example just tell me that there is hotel parking rather than explain the intricacies of market day on street parking. Getting a drink in the evening was impossible. But good place to stay if you are prepared to ask for things
