Loved it here, very friendly & helpful staff. Needs update on appliances but i am overall happy with their service

The hotel is nice, however, it rained during the night and there was extremely loud dripping of water on my window parapet which prevented me from sleeping. The hotel should fix this issue as it made my night very uncomfortable

The checkin as fast as usual with the difference that you pass your breakfast 'components' the evening before. The breakfast section is re-organized and personnel does insist on applying the appropriate covid-measures.

Lots of free parking. Fast, reliable WiFi Internet. Unfortunately, when I was there in August, several nearby restaurants (and the hotel restaurant) were closed due to Summer holidays.

The hotel's location is quite good as you can easily drive or take a bus into the city center. Always enough private parking space which takes away the stress of having to look around when staying downtown in Luxemburg city.
There is a strange but interesting variety in the type of rooms as they also offer studios for longer stays and so in case you happen to stay one night and a studio is not occupied, you happen to get a big room double or trouple in size of a traditional hotel room. As there is a newer part at the back of the hotel, you can stay in a very modern room with large well equipped bathroom etc and a week after you can be put in a regular room ... so always a surprise of what you'll get (I do come on a regular basis as business traveller).

Nice hotel located about 15 minutes away from the city. Ample free parking was greatly appreciated. Good size rooms with wifi.

We booked this hotel as a stop-over, as we were driving from Schwarzwald to Dunkirk Ferry. It is located about 2 miles west of city centre on a fairly busy road with shops, garages etc. Very smart and modern, with comfortable room & bedding, and quiet with the window closed. We didn't go for the restaurant or the €16 breakfast

Clean hotel but certainly not a 4star. No toiletries other than something stuck to the shower wall. I had to buy a bar of soap to wash my hands. The shower was at best adequate and despite my best efforts spilled over onto the bathroom floor every time.
Positives are that they provide a small fridge (mini bar) and a kettle but only two teabags of camomile tea. Thankfully I had brought my own Tetley.
The Deli across the road is expensive but brilliant and they do a very nice breakfast I believe. I bought my fresh milk there And they do great bread.
Overall this hotel is clean, not too noisy and has a good Deli nearby. It is not what the uk would call 4star and not especially good value for money

The location is good and it's great to have a free parking. The restaurant is also good and you can go elsewhere in the neighbourhood if you like. My room was quite large.
However the air-conditionner made some noise that was disturbing during the night. I did not sleep so well.

I was very happy with the restaurant -- worth the money. The wifi in my room (101, stayed in Oct 2016) was poor.

The most positive thing about this hotel is the friendly staff. In terms of cost benefit relation, its not really a great find. For the price paid I was expecting a bit more.In any case its a decent hotel, suitable to spend a couple nights.

Disappointing - for the price paid to have no hot water in the mornng and a cold tap in the sink that did not work was not good. Not a fan of fabric shower curtains either. On the plus side, really comfy bed.

First room assigned was a conference/show/meeting room with unusually bright lighting and a Murphy bed. Included a kitchenette and stairs down to a nice bathroom. Not as expected based on the listing. I would recommend more accurate descriptions for hotels.com.

Our room was a large hotel apartment, including a kitchenette, small living room, and tall windows on the full walk of the loft/duplex format. Bathroom was also spacious. The breakfast is good enough, but nothing amazing. One issue was that the room was smelling to curry, probably from the previous guest. Since it was a two floors room, at least the smell wasnt so evident in the bedroom. Not so close to the city center, but in Lixembourg nothing is really far.

Hotel location 3km from main town centre, close to business area and sports stadium. The hotel appears to be more of a restaurant, which was closed when I arrived on Sunday lunchtime. Hotel clean and comfortable with minibar. No tea and coffee set with Kettle which was disappointing, although you could order some from reception which was added to bill. Morning breakfast was served in restaurant which apparently has to be ordered the previous day. In summary the hotel was clean and comfortable which met my main requirements, but that's about it.

Well, I had read a few reviews on this hotel before I made the booking. Reaction of other fellow travelers was lukewarm at best, so I was not at all prepared for what I was confronted with after arriving.
The "room" was simply superb. The hotel is kind of non-conform, it cannot be compared with international chains in ANY respect. The service was NOT professional, that's for sure. Strassen is a sleepy hollow were you indeed cannot do anything, I do not deny it.
BUT for a price that would barely buy you 100 sqft of a boring "room" in Luxembourg centre or Kirchberg, in l'Olivier you will get a three storey apartment that contains: (on the base floor) sitting room, with dining area, separate kitchenette, guest bath room, AND a huge terrace with views open in three directions including woodlands and Luxembourg centre (one view opens into the backyard of a logistics firm, which is less cool, but no real harm). Middle floor holds a comfortable bedroom with plenty of unpacking space including cupboards, drawers, clothes racks etc. (actually the first hotel ever where I was able to comfortably unpack my full complement of trousers, jackets, ties, shirts, AND hiking gear etc.). The upper floor holds a small dressing room with another clothes rack that works as an antechambre for a huge bathroom with a large tube, hair dryer and washing machine.. The total area of the apartment must have been well over 600 sq ft, maybe close to 1000 including the terrace.
I will return for sure..

Hotel is oké.
Floor and stairs are very dark.
I don't like the curtain in the shower, shower is small.
But then you leave the curtain open, it's oké.
