This hotel is a serious betrayal of my trust to the hotel brand. My family has stayed in many different Dormy Inn hotels in Japan. All the previous experiences were amazing, so Dormy Inn became the top choice of our family trips. But this one is way below average of the hotel standard. The hotel lacks the chic and elegant atmosphere of the regular Dormy Inn hotels. The interior design is only partially done. The twin room that I stayed looks like a cheap hotel. I can see the staff has tried hard to keep it clean. Physically it was okay; visually it is not. The floor, walls, and furnitures were covered with dirty spots. The elevators smelled tobacco. The rooftop public bath was closest to the regular Dormy Inn baths, but it is still smaller and less well maintained than it's peer hotels. The serious disappointment really ruined our days. I'll never come to this hotel again, and we will be very careful if we're to book another Dormy Inn hotel in other cities. If you are Dormy Inn fans like us, definitely avoid this one! To be fair, the staff was all very nice and friendly. Location was great, too. It's just not the Dormy Inn that we had expected. And we did not expect too much.

Convenient location nearby Sendai station.
Room is smaller than other, but we like hot springs very much.

The single room is really tiny. No space to open up a big luggage and walk. i had to tip toe to avoid falling in the room. The onsen wasnt working - so we only have hot water without the minerals. Wifi was not consistent. Location was ok - 10-15 mins or so walk to Sendai station.

Comfort.

Dormy Inn has the best Onsen and buffet with even beef tongue for breakfast. The free noodles is always nice. Only downside of this location is the facilities are a little older. It has the unit bath where the toilet is in the same space as the bath.
There are 2 others nearly and I recomend the one near Hirose dori.

Free parking, good breakfast and comfy room. The pillows were a bit hard for me but all good for one night. We walked to a large covered mall where there were loads of shops, restaurants etc so plenty to do. Good wifi in hotel and staff spoke English. Would come back again

Nice hot springs in the rooftop.

It took me about 5-10 minutes to walk from Sendai Station to the hotel, depending whether I was carrying a luggage or not. No nonsense in the room and it was comfortable for a good sleep.

This was probably the worst hotel stay I have ever had. The AC unit in the room was moldy. I discovered this after my lungs and throat started burning after the first night. the shower also had mold in it. I showed the hotel staff my pictures of the mold, and asked for a new room after the third night, which I was given. The second room also had mold growing in the AC. This would be ok I the winter, but, during my visit, the average daily temperature was about+33C (90F). This made things very uncomfortable at night. The WiFi was almost unusable as it was slow and dropped connections constantly. In my last day I discovered trash in my room (not mine) left there by the cleaning staff.

For the price it is hard to beat. Clean and very helpful and friendly staff. Even though my room was along a main street the double insulated windows kept the noise out. I'd stay there again. Location is great too. just a short stroll to the main rail station.

This hotel was a great choice! Just a few minutes walk from Sendai station and right there at the heart of the city. There were no issues with outside noises and the black out curtains work very well. The Semidouble room was small but that is to be expected in Japan. Comfortable and cozy room. The hot springs are very nice and the free ramen dinner was tasty and these do not cost extra. *Parking costs extra, ¥1300 a day**Massages cost extra, ¥2000 for 20 min, ¥4500 for 45 min and ¥6000 for 60 min. *

Although the hotel is good, not sure why the room was so pricey, with no breakfast.

Perfect location for my needs and lot of good things near by.

The location is great. Close to local shopping area and sendai station. The onsen was free and it was like having a mini onsen vacation with a fraction of the price.Their breakfast was good with so many choices of food, and it was Japanese style breakfast. The nice additional service is the mini bowl of ramen they provide free as late night snack (9:30pm to 11pm). We really enjoyed the stay and the value it provided. I paid $88 including tax and fee, and it was the best $88 I sent so far.

The staff was very helpful. The location was perfect. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Great value for money. We enjoyed the onsen (hot spring) everyday! Breakfast was one of the best I have seen and the late night snack (soup noodles) was an extra treat!

Fantastic hotel. Very clean and good facilities. The onsen was really a good feature.

Great hotel with a convenient location close to the train station. The room was nothing special but coming home to the sauna and baths every night was a real treat. I especially liked the cold water bath. Very refreshing!

Onsen bath was amazing. Great service, good value for money. I didn't try but they were offering free hot noodles at night.

Excellent location close to the train station. Western and Japanese breakfast options and evening noodles were delicious. Lovely onsen. We would certainly stay here again!
2.5
Easy walking distance to the train station. Very comfortable hotel with an onsen and free noodles from 9:30 pm.

Location, location, location. Great for recently retired couples like us who enjoy walking all over to window shop, taste new foods, enjoy many places to rest in between, close to train station. We enjoyed walking a mile to the Garden to see the cherry blossoms, then stopping in a cafe for refreshments. Leisure and refreshing days were topped off with deep soaking in the hotel's furo and a massage. Ahhhh.

Dormy Inn as a hotel chain was recommended to me by a friend. This one has a very nice hot spring bath at the top of the building, along with free evening noodles. The chain is known for having a breakfast service with foods unique to the area. I've heard other Dormy Inn hotels have a better breakfast service than this one. Still, for 1200 yen it was pretty good.

Nice Onsen and smoking room:)
Good pice!!
