The reception staff is so helpful for replying to my concern of late check in.
The location is excellent in the town centre.
Walking to almost all sightseeing points, bus stations but railway station in 25 min which could be far if you don't like walking.
The room is spacious, clean and comfy.

reception seemed annoyed with my questions in english. She was not very friendly or welcoming.

Reception is around the corner from the hotel entrance which is a bit confusing.
The check in staff were not the most friendly or helpful.
To make up for that the rooms were absolutely lovely, bang in the centre of the old town - what a treat.
Breakfast is disappointing.

Lovely place with elegant rooms. Quite central, can highly recommend.

Excellent location and staff. Extremely pleasant breakfast, and good internet.

Excellent location. It really couldn’t be better.
Room was very large but there were more stairs to ascend than we feel comfortable with.
There was no way to lock the door except with a key which meant you had to lock yourself in the room (though you still had the key).
Breakfast was complete and adequate.
Front desk wasn’t always manned.
There was a bit of noise when people above you walked around…way more than usual (it’s an old building).

Absolutely lovely hotel centrally situated. I had a nice airy room accessible only by stairs, there is no lift so be careful when choosing this property. A tasty breakfast served in a nicely decorated room.

Central location, nice hotel and good breakfast. Breakfast room was quite small so worth getting there early. Also there was no shower gel, only a small sachet of shampoo and a soap which some people would not be pleased with. But overall, great value and would recommend.

We had a basic but spacious room overlooking a small square below. The hotel is a block off the main town square and convenient to restaurants and all the historic sights nearby.
Friendly staff with good dining recommendations. Good breakfast. No elevator in the hotel. Read the room options carefully as some of the rooms are in a different building - no idea if that's better or worse; it was just a surprise to some other guests checking in before us.
Parking and getting to the hotel... There is no overnight parking except in several paid lots around the Old Town. You can purchase a parking pass at the hotel. The entire medieval Old Town area is pedestrian-only from 10:30AM to 3PM. With a permit, you can drive directly to/from the hotel outside these times. You SHOULD purchase this permit at a police station before driving into the Old Town. We didn't know this, so fortunately the hotel receptionist was able to sell us one of those too. Once you're all paid, legal and parked, it's about a 10-minute walk from the lot back to the hotel.
A great base to explore Cesky Krumlov. Highly recommended!

Really wish we had more than one night in Cesky Krumlov - partly because we loved Hotel Leonardo so much. Our room was HUGE, and actually still would have been larger than average if it was split in half. It was absolutely gorgeous, as well, oozing with old world charm. The hotel is located right in the heart of everything - perfectly situated in the old town. Breakfast was okay - nothing to write home about. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Small hotel right down in the tourist area so it can be a bit noisy until about 11 but this is not a drinking and partying town so its not bad. No air conditioning so if there was a heat wave it could be a problem. Very old building with wooden staircases. Neat for history buff types with all the old papers and photos on the walls. Reception was friendly and polite. No problem with leaving luggage after checkout before going to the bus. Breakfast was ok, nothing more.

Location is superb being located in the town center but still quiet enough for a good sleep. Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is pretty good too. Would definitely stay here if I am coming back to Cesky.

A beautiful place in an amazing location! The staff and room was very nice. The only downside was the mildly warm water good only for a quick bath.

Lovely quaint, original hotel with large wooden stairs and no lift. The rooms were very comfortable and warm with lots of natural lighting. You are only metres from the main square and 5 min walk from the carpark on the other side of the river. The breakfast was great and the staff were delightful and very helpful.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Český Krumlov. The room was spacious with modern amenities as well as a classic decor. The staff were lovely and the included breakfast was basic but tasty. Make sure you call in advance if youre driving to arrange access to the city centre and parking.

Recommend the town of Cesky Krumlov to all and also recommend Hotel Leonardo.
There was no elevator but that is because Cesky Krumlov is World Heritage listed. We knew this beforehand.
Shower head holder was way too low.

Leonardo is a beautiful and charming small hotel in the heart of the old section of town, close to all the major sites. The staff were friendly and helpful. My wife and I highly recommend it.

We arrived around 11:30, well before check- in time. They let us drop of our luggage while we explore the town and get lunch. It was hot, so we returned early, to rest in the lobby and to our surprise the room was ready. The young woman at reception spoke very good English which always helps and we checked in. The only problems with this hotel were very minor. Our room turned out to be three floors up with no elevator. The room it self was quite nice, a king bed and separate sitting area with tv. The bathroom was large but had only a tub and no shower. The worst part was, although on the top floor, we had no view, since this was obviously a converted attic the windows were small and angled upward since they were on the roof. They provided adequate ventilation which was needed due to this being a hot day. Minor disappointment, but we did not go there to sit in our room and look out. The breakfast is more than adequate, being somewhat similar to an American hotels breakfast offerings. Overall we were very happy with the hotel.

good location, no air condition but can't open the window as someone may climb into the room from the roof. (the roof is climbable) so it became very hot inside the room. no elevator so it will be tough to take luggage to upstairs. breakfast is included and it's not bad.

This 16th century building is not the type with creaky floors and peeling walls. This is a gem right in the center of town filled with antiques and artwork. It was very quiet at night. The building is beautiful, it smells beautiful, even the linens are lightly scented. Although there is no air-conditioning, a fan is provided. The single room that I stayed in actually had two beds in separate areas of the room, perfect for traveling companions or those needing a little extra privacy. A safe was also provided in the wardrobe. The friendly office manager was happy to hold my luggage after check-out in order for me to continue to enjoy the town. A full breakfast was included in the rate and was very good. My only complaint is that the beds, although made with lovely crisp linens, were not as comfortable as I would have liked. Other than that, I would happily stay at the Hotel Leonardo II again.

We made a one night trip from Prague. Hotel is located right in the center of the town. Very easy to walk around from there. Parking is very limited in the area. You can drive your car right up to the hotel, you can park there while you check in and drop off your luggage. They gave me a one day free parking pass which is about 10min walk from the hotel. Room is quite roomy and large. We didnt have AC, so had to leave the windows open to cool, however located right in the front of the Bar so it did get loud at late nite. However once you closed the windows you wont hear much noise anymore.

Old building with character, our room was in the attic so a climb of the stairs to get there. Great position in the town, had to drop off the luggage and then park the car in the town car park a short walk away.

After a bit of research we found Leonardo to look nice in pictures--we were not disappointed--it's a beautiful old building with nice wooden floors and a comfortable DOUBLE bed--(yep not 2 single mattresses pushed together like everywhere else.

Visited Cesky Krumlov for 3 nights on our honeymoon and loved the village. You can really immerse yourself in the history of this lovely little town, and the countryside is beautiful. The Hotel Leonardo is in a great location, the rooms are clean and comfortable, however the daily housekeeping was minimal and not the best. A few small items would have made this hotel 5 out of 5 for us, one being the addition of a kettle as well the shower nozzle barely dribbled water, making it almost impossible to shower at all. Overall we enjoyed the stay, and would consider going back if the shower at least was working properly.

Very nice hotel. Great location. Clean rooms. Rich breakfast.
Too bad the windows blinds don't block the sun in the morning.

Hotel Leonardo is just barely off the old town square in a great location with lots of shops, restaurants, etc around. It's an easy walk from the hotel to explore the old town, the castle, the riverfront -- all the places you want to see. Hotel staff were quite nice and helpful in recommending restaurants. They stayed at the desk during their lunch break time to accommodate our bus arrival timing.
My only complaint was the noise. We stayed at the hotel during late March (very off season), and I was quite surprised when a club next door started thumping VERY loud music @ 3:30am. It didn't stop until 7:30! I'd be very careful about staying at this hotel during the regular tourist season.
