It was quite basic. Nothing fancy, but well-kept clean and quiet. Staff was most excellent and very helpful. I would recommend to anyone just wanting a place to sleep, and relax.

Great room with a lot of space! Really comfortable close to center and the train station. Only problem was the noise, the hotel is near a lot of bars and we stayed during Euro so there was a lot of noise and screaming till 3AM.

Security box was not working.

Comfortable stay in centrally located hotel. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Room had everything we needed for an overnight stay. A short walk from train station, would recommend

Hotel Rembrandt is in a great location only a short walk from the train station. It is also very close to excellent museums including the Museum of Ethnology which is awesome. The hotel staff were nice and helpful. I enjoyed my stay there. Thank you!

Check-in was a bit rough. That day I was flying from another country, thus once arriving at the hotel around 17:00 I saw a locked entrance door - I was a bit surprised.
Fortunately, I had a phone with international SIM, thus I was able to call the "night shift" number, then they let me in remotely.
So, this was only one "bad surprise". Everything was good.

Great location, close to the train station and in the old inner city. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with horrible lighting. The lights bedside weren’t great either but it was a very nice room. The staff was great also.

This is a nice hotel located near the center of Leiden and its Central Station. The reception staff was very kind and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again if I were to return to Leiden.

Delightful staff - excellent service - and vegan breakfast

The hotel and the room are excellent, great room with enough space. For the situation, you are near the traitn station, but there are a few cafés around. Being there for 4-5 nights, one night the buzz was strong on the street, that was a little disturbing; but with earplugs and the vent, I was okay. You also have a balcony and in the heart, so there is two dises to this. Service was kind; I stll recommand it!

The bed was very comfy and the breakfast had filling options.

Excellent location within walking distance from the station, yet not seedy like a "train station" neighbourhood. Windmill Museum and shops and restaurants and canals all right there. The hotel is dated but super clean. Wifi was crappy. Staff was friendly and present only in the mornings. Avoid room 108 - the largest - if you want privacy - it is big and bright, but literally they have set up picnic tables on the patio that can look directly into your room, into your bathroom, onto your bed, if your blinds aren't completely closed.

Simple room just to stay for the night. Clean an modern.

Very friendly, great location. Door key was novel

The hotel uses online check-in. You get sent a link to open the various doors. It's practical but there is no one on hand to answer any questions. (We struggled a bit with the lights.) The room was very comfortable though and the location was very convenient. It suited our purposes very well but might book something else if I was looking for a place to stay for multiple nights.

Everything was great!!!
I just couldn’t figure out the A/c so I was a bit cold during the night. Happily the bed covers saved me.
I would highly recommend this property

I did not think it was possible to have a hotel room this small. The coffee pot was put on the window sill because there was no room to put it anywhere else. The toilet was next the tiny, single (not twin!) bed. There was barely room to stand when you were not lying on the bed. Also, while checkout was at 11am, they would only keep luggage till 2pm as the staff would disappear by then. Overall, a strange, inhospitable experience. Staff, when there, was great. The location is also great. But Leiden is small, and there are plenty of wonderful hotels around.

It was somewhat nerve-wracking to arrive in pouring rain and hope that the code eventually provided by email would open the lock-box and deliver a key. It did work though I am not sure I realised this would be the access mechanism when I booked. The room was oddly proportioned - presumably because of the shape of the plot and there was no desk/chair combo but everything was comfortable and the wifi worked well.

Nice hotel with welcoming staff. Great location with lots of great choices for food and drink. The only negative was the room size and odd layout meaning there was no desk to work

Our stay at the Hotel Rembrandt was exceptional. The room was spacious and bright and had a small balcony, and we had great experiences with all of the staff. The location was central and close by to all of the local areas of interest, canals, eateries, train station, etc. Very walkable! We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks for making our stay in Leiden so lovely.

Location was great—near train station and also restaurants and stores. Rooms were nice. A little stingy—when I told the manager there was no soap in my room she said they don't supply soap, just shower gel in the shower! But then she found a mini-bar of soap for me.

Loved the room. Cute & suited the stay. Staff were friendly & helpful. The location is just perfect Can walk to station. (5 mins)

Good location near train station and bus stops. Basic but comfortable. Breakfasts a bit disappointing

Charming boutique hotel in good central location... literally walking distance from train station and also town centre. Room was clean if a bit basic but bed was comfy and staff helpful when I arrived and had forgotten to tell them I was allergic to feather quilt and pillows. The only thing I would like to suggest is that they should do a small brochure for inside the room explaining how the air-conditioning/ TV / WiFi/etc works/ breakfast times and the usual stuff you get in a hotel.( So that we wouldn't have to keep asking questions!)
Staff were, on the whole, very friendly and helpful and good English speakers. We would stay again.
