The hotel was ok to sleep in for a few hours and hit the road again, but it was pricey for the condition. The bathroom shower wasn't clean, had no shampoo or hand soap. The front desk guy gave us the wrong room which was occupied. We discovered this after three trips down there because the key didn't work. Would not stay there again unless it was the only decent hotel.

Fridge had used food and drink items left in it and the hvac was off when I entered the room. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Nice staff and quiet.

I enjoyed my stay here a lot. It's very quiet. The area has a lot to offer and the rooms are always clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful when needed.

The hot tub was broken staff was made aware . Everything else was fine staff let us bring our bicycles in the room due to parking lot safety issues.

I’ve stayed here before! Always a good place, always comfortable. A good area. Lots of restaurant options nearby! And it’s about 20-25 minutes to most of the important Memphis sites, to wit: Graceland, Beale Street, National Civil Rights Museum@ Lorraine Motel (site of MLK assassination), The Arcade Restaurant (oldest diner in Memphis), Rock ‘N Soul Museum, Sun Studios, Stax Museum, Central BBQ, Pink Palace, Memphis Music Museum, Peabody Hotel (Peabody ducks), and there are probably a few more.

We have stayed here multiple time. Hotel itself was good ,but now become unsafe, we go there to stay walk across street to watches shorts as we was there at hooters. Some one busted a window of a car and stoled car at 8 pm at night ,close to mall as well , not very safe either. Sorry cant and wont stay in that area again. Just my opinion , but dont feel safe in that area again, but yes hotel itself is great.

Was just an overnight stay, we had a pet and it was very accommodating for our pup. Had an area for him to go outside, staff was very helpful. Plenty of restaurants around too within walking distance

Check in was fast. Gentleman at the desk was so helpful from telling us about the area to helping me getting my disabled spouse into the room. Room was clean and neat. Meet all our needs. Plenty of dining in walking distances. Quiet even with several dogs including ours. Would stay again.

The shower head needs replacing and the bed makes a lot of noise when you sit down or roll over in room 204. Overall it was a good stay and would stay again.

Mattress needs to be replaced, uncomfortable.
Breakfast was bad. Sunday 7:00am: Eggs & sausage were barely warm. Biscuits were cold and not eatable. There was no gravy that the desk clerk said was on the menu. They only had tables for 2. We had 4 in our group.
Staff was friendly and professional. Everything was clean.
3.0
Property and room were clean. Staff at front desk was a little sullen and didn't smile or say much. The biggest issue we had with this room was that the lights were too bright. If you just wanted a reading light, the entire room was lit up with fluorescent light. It would be helpful to have dimmers on the bedside lights. The fan in the bathroom was connected to the light and extremely loud so any late night or early morning trip to the bathroom was accompanied by bright lights and an overly loud fan. The hot breakfast was typical (scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes). Would have liked fresh fruit other than green bananas. On the plus side, there are a lot of dining options in the area.

Staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfy.

Love the body lotion dispenser, when traveling with a small suitcase you can’t bring all your necessities

The lobby at times smelled like a dog and lots of dog poop on the property grass. Other than this, it was nice.

Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean. Location was excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly. Pool was nice, hot tub was not even warm. You couldn’t turn only the bathroom light on without the fan being on the fan was loud and annoying. The microwave was hard to operate and the fridge wasn’t as cold as it should have been even on coldest setting

Great place to stay for a night. Room was great and a lot of space for a king bed. Breakfast was basic. But good enough to get on the road fast

All staff members were very helpful. Rooms were very clean and quiet. We had to be gone each day by 6:00 am, so they let us have breakfast at 5:30, even though it didn't start until 6:00. Easy access to Hwy 40 and Germantown. We will be using them every time we're in Memphis.

Arrival was decent, everything went quickly downhill.we were given the room keys , loaded some of our things and animals into the room. . Tried to get back in the room and the door would not open at all. Front desk couldn't get it open . We were told the maintenance guy wasn't onsite soooo. We then told them to get it open immediately as our dogs were in the room going nuts. The suggested we go to another room until they can manage to get it open...um nooo. About 30 minutes go by and another employee comes with a card and says you just have to wiggle it differently and play with the handle. We then got moved to a r room next to about15 young adults who partied ALL night and morning. Banging on walls moving furniture, fighting, and blasting a personal boom box ( oh and with them they had a poor little baby) who also screamed all night. Bad parents table for two.
We called to the desk several times and each time was hung up on. Every time and I mean every time our keys to the room stopped working and we had to get new ones from the front desk. . The front desk staffs boyfriend was laying on the counter watching a movie with his girlfriend when we came from dinner the second night. The third night was more of the same crap. . I highly suggest that you do NOT stay here. At all ever if you want sleep, access to your room or just to be treated with respect. This place is a real clown show. Manager dodged the request to speak with us, so we will be going to corporate.

Their room was much bigger than I expected. Got everything I paid for room wise. The location is excellent closer to the mall than I realized and restaurants nearby.

I am disappointed in giving this poor review, but unfortunately I’m left with little choice after the experience I had in staying at this hotel. Even after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures online, I truly thought my family and I were going to have the top tier experience at an affordable rate - I should’ve known it was too good to be true. Please note the staff during check in and checkout were very friendly, however it was more the condition of the hotel and the room itself that was the big let down. For starters the minute we walked into the hotel we could smell something in the air - I am sure it was mold because my allergies flared up the entire stay. Also, the furniture was old (see photos) and when I asked for extra towels they resorted to give me what looked like something old, and thin that had probably been used to previously clean. The pillows were terrible and the AC as well was loud and cranky. I had hoped to have a decent breakfast at least for my kids but that too was a let down. Which I realize is a lot to ask for since many hotels these days don’t even have the option of a complimentary continental breakfast. Needless to say, I will not be staying here again.

Our stay was great! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, especially since we had to adjust our stay a couple of times, due to TS Debby and flight cancellation concerns from Raleigh to Memphis. We had multiple rooms booked for a family celebration. The staff cheerfully helped sort out the confusion, making sure late arrivals were accommodated and we all had rooms. This was our first time staying at La Quinta in the Wolfchase/Bartlett area in Memphis. It won’t be our last. We were extremely pleased with the cleanliness, amenities and friendly staff. The area felt safe, was easily accessed, had lots of restaurant choices within walking distance and was an easy drive to all points of interests.

We’ve stayed here in the past, but this experience was not great. The room we were in was not very welcoming. It smelled, the furniture was very old and dated. The fridge did not cool and also was not cleaned because there was an old water bottle in it. Looks like they came in and put towels and toiletries but that’s all. Not sure what happened in the past year, but I’m not sure if we will go back. Also the staff at the front desk weren’t very welcoming.

It was a great stay however the tub faucet barely had pressure and the drain stopped wouldn’t stop all the way and needed to take a bath. Also the pillows had a very weird smell. Lastly the air conditioning barely cooled mist of the night until morning. I have stayed at this La Quinta before with no issues. Great quality. Not sure about the it s particular room. 324. Thanks so much.

Nice property, little worn on some of the to furniture but overall good. Walls are paper then heard everything the people next door were saying.
Breakfast was less the stellar but would serve the purpose.
