Close to all attractions and city centre. It's more like a hotel than a hostel. Clean in all public areas, well maintained. Super views. Had a great stay.

Very clean room with ensuite facilities.

Well equipped hostel/hotel for our two nights. Was surprised for a private room we were required to put our linen on our beds and then off upon departing. Good location.
4.0
The beds were awfully hard to sleep on
8.0
The best was location, very convenient. Continental breakfast was pretty good. The room was not supplied with shampoo and each bedding set did not have face towels, enough bath towels. Additionally, it was very hot in the room, temperature could not be controlled.
4.0
The location is convenient, and we selected this place based on its high family rating. However, it is a hostel. Our private bathroom lacked essential amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Additionally, guests are required to make their own beds. The room was small and uncomfortably hot without air conditioning. The breakfast provided was basic and reminiscent of dormitory food, offering nothing special.

Being a hostel I did not expect much. So in that regard I did not get disappointed. It is what it is. Cheap, a bed and a dorm room...
2.0
The room has zero accommodation. Not even a hair dryer, but you can rent one with an extra cost. Very disappointed with the quality of the property.

This is a busy place to stay, there are a lot of tour groups, especially young school groups. This makes it a little noisy at times and can cause delays with the elevators. That being said, it's still a great place to stay and I would definitely stay again on a future visit to Copenhagen. Best thing about this location – walking distance to Islands Brygge Harbour Bath! Which is more important than you think once you've gone for your first swim.

This is a great location and well appointed for the price point.

Key card didn’t work so had to get a replacement. No ladder to top bunk so difficult to get up

Perfect if you’re going to be out exploring all day. It does a great job of being somewhere to sleep and wash but as a hostel it’s obviously a bit limited on comfort and facilities. Easily walked only 10 mins from Radhutsplassen metro stop and close to tivoli gardens

The area was extremely central. Very loud, people slamming their doors constantly and running in the hallways, didn’t feel like a family hostel.

We had a family room for our family of 5. The room itself was fine. They have you take a bag of sheets and a towel up with you. I like that they are trying to be eco- friendly. But the bathroom is tiny. The shower is ultra tiny. And water gets everywhere because they don’t give you a bath mat to catch the water. Also it’s loud. I know it’s a hostel, but even so. Very close to the train station though.

First the checkin:
When we got there the reception was closed, and the hotel never sent us the code we needed. Had to call, got the code after 20min. Then the machine lost connection with the pay terminal, so we had to call them again. It took us 1 hour from arrival until we were in - a long time with two kids in the car. Luckily we snuck in so they could use a bathroom.
On top of that, the AC was not working in the entire hotel, making it a warm experience.
We had to keep all windows open, and thanks to other guests smoking outside our kids fell asleep pretty fast - secondhand high..
A place for truckers and if you need a cheap place, but don't expect anything.

Personal was very friendly and helpful. Booking online was very easy.

The bunkbeds are not suitable for tall people -- there's a metal bar right where their heads and feet are located-- and there weren't enough washers and dryers. Apart from this the facility had a good location, staff were friendly, and everything was clean and well maintained.

Nice hostel. When you enter the lobby, you get the impression of a hotel, but the residential floors are something else. The room was very simple, but more than enough for just sleeping. The concept is functional! Everything is available for an additional fee. The breakfast was good, although there was terrible chaos there, even though you had to make a reservation. Bed linen must be put on when you arrive and removed when you leave. The level of cleaning is not the best, there was a big spider web in the doorway of the room covered in dust. In general, and considering the price, we are satisfied and would come again.

didn't care for having to put our own sheets and taking down sheets and towels to lobby after use. Also, no market nearby that stays open late.

The room was as expected from the pictures, and the common areas seemed to be maintained. However, when we arrived to check in, there was a DJ playing music next to the reception desk, making it impossible to converse with the staff during check-in. It would have been better to place the DJ somewhere else. The room was clean enough, but a metal hatch in the ceiling fell, and dust came down on all our jackets and shoes. Luckily, no one was standing under it, or it would have been a trip to the hospital. The light in the bathroom and hallway was controlled with motion sensors, which were glitchy. The light in the hallway kept turning on and off, and there was no way to shut the light off. The light in the bathroom only turned on sometimes, so we had to go to the bathroom and shower in the dark most of the time. The breakfast was included in our rate, but if it is not, we recommend that you don't buy it separately either. It's better to go to Netto and grab what you need, as the hostel's breakfast is sub-par at best. What we got is way overpriced. I expected a hostel to be less expensive than a hotel, but we found that many people paid half our rate for a much better experience at a proper hotel.

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff! Had a wonderful view from our room overlooking Tivoli amusement park.

Great location to get around Copenhagen.

Only one shower and toilet all together for 8 people dorm room. They should have been at least separate. Imagine waiting nearly 2hrs to take a shower if everyone gets up at once.
And there's no other shower room in the building as well!!
The cleaner didn't seem to come at all over the weekend so the dorm was quite filthy by Monday.
They also changed me for storing my luggage at the and of the stay, which was a small backpack...
Would not recommend staying again.

Good location. First time at a hostel and not able to compare. Clean bed and room but bare minimum comfort. Lacked some essentials like soap and shampoo, but helpful staff.

although its very basic, its clean within walking distance to the centre and close to all the tourist attractions. Id say its worth the money and have no complaints

It's great on the whole. But better provide liquid hand wash in the room.

We had a pleasant stay and were able to enjoy many things Copenhague has to offer from Danhostel my teenagers and I.

Fantastic for a short stay only issue was nothing to do with the accommodation was just unfortunate to land in a room of people who went to bed at ridiculous o clock so having to get around the room with the phone light
Bit hot at night so mini fans may be a nice addition

The location of Danhostel is quite central and was perfect for us. Our room was spacious and clean, with a big bathroom and walk-in shower. The staff at reception and behind the bar was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good and had plenty of choices to suit everyone. The addition of pastries would be nice. We didn’t use all the facilities but saw the self-catering kitchen, laundry room, games room etc. which all seemed clean and well kitted. Danhostel has everything, we will definitely stay there again when in Copenhagen.

For a 1-2 night stay, this property suited our needs. It is a hostel, so there are a lot of people who come in and out of the property. The bar area was lively and fun, there were lots of people from all backgrounds and nationalities hanging around, playing games, and conversing. The rooms were fairly basic and clean, linens and towels were provided in the lobby. Being that this was our first time at a hostel, we didnt expect that we had to fix our own beds, but it wasnt that bad.
The property itself is about a 15 minute walk from the Copenhagen central train station. There is also a bus stop that is 5 minutes away.
We were in Copenhagen for only two nights, DanHostel fit our needs.

Great location, nice reception, seating and breakfast area with friendly staff.
There was a decent choice at the buffet breakfast.
5.0
We stayed in a 6-bed room. The room was clean. If you have limited budget, this will be a good choice. The location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk from Tivoli Park. Supermarket is also near.
Only the sound insulation is not very good. We could hear the noise from outside.
4.0
We checked in at the desk by the opening and I feel as though we could've gotten a slightly better idea of everything and how things worked had the person at the desk been more talkative. Either way, the room we were assigned was an okay size for the money! But the bunk beds were quite tough and the toilet didnt flush all that well, which ticked off a few points. We were also unsure or the towels and sheets we got, since they were in a pile where we were told to just "pick one" which made it seem a little unsanitary. Other than that the trip was pleasant!
