Nonfictional pool. TV nothing but fuzzy pictures. Needs to be CLEANED There are objects under the bed and lots of dust. This place needs lots of work. Breakfast had a lot to be desired. Let there ate somewhere else. You had 8.5 rating. Pictures on your site very deceiving. Doors not locked to enter near our room. Need better security locks on entrances not at front desk. Our room door handle did not work properly we had a hard time getting in our room. When I saw a cleaning lady and asked for her assistance she didn’t even acknowledge me. Terrible terrible experience. If I wasn’t exhausted I would have gotten a refund and moved on.

Condom on my bed under a pillow! Dirty bathroom, cracked sinks, sour smell in bathroom. Free breakfast had mold on muffins. No one at front desk. A phone their to call for help. Not a good property.

It's a unique property and everyone on staff was amazing.

There was an attempt to update the room but just covered up issues with paint. Old motel reminds me of the 70's but it use to be clean then

This property was run down and old. It's a motel, not hotel. No water in the pool, loose ceiling tiles, and exterior was in bad condition. It did not feel safe. We couldn't stay there and found a different hotel for the night.

Air conditioner stopped working in the middle night and honestly didn’t work that well. Now that I’m thinking about it, probably didn’t work because it was breaking but overall a nice quick last minute stay for my family on our way home from vacation. Also, Hotels.com advertises that pets are welcome, even non service animals and they are not.

The staff was very polite and nice - the pool area was roped off for repairs/cleaning which was not indicated when we made the reservation. It seems like the hotel was once thriving. It was an adequate stay for the price and the continental breakfast was sufficient.

The rooms were clean. None of the outside doors lock so it’s open to the public. We had a balcony outside our room but there were no patio door curtains. The curtains were not the correct size and would not close. The king sized bed needs replaced it felt like it was broke.

The room was not clean. Dead bugs behind everything. Pulled sheets back and ended up sleeping on top of them. Couldn't park by room due to parking being sold out to an event. Pool not open

My stay was HORRIBLE!!!! Had bugs the doors barely locked and was very dirty!!!! And staff have very bad customer service I don’t recommend

The facility was very old and looked it. The pool was empty of water and not available for use. No ice machine. The place almost looked abandoned. Our room was pretty clean, but fixtures looked worn and bathroom was very old. Only a handful of channels on the tv worked. Breakfast was limited options and nothing really for anyone with gluten allergy. It was holiday weekend and someone was shooting off fireworks in the parking lot which made it difficult to sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The pictures on the site look nothing like reality. Run down, terrible entry, suspicious people in back of hotel. Don’t stay there!

There was bugs on the floor. AC didnt work properly. Toilet didnt fush right and shower would not drain so i showered while standing in dirty water. Tv connection was poor. Wifi was spotty. Tyey charged 100 for a deposit snd fo what. Thn its been several days anddidnt get it bck yet.

The first room we were put in the air-conditioning did not work. There was a big fire right next to us and i am very energetic. The new room they put us in there were men out side in the back off there truck bed being very loud till after 1am. I said something to the man up front and told him i was not parking my truck around there and he said, owe they do that every Friday.

This is an huge old hotel. (An old style vacation roadside Holiday Inn to be exact). Purchased by the new owners to resurrect it from the ashes pre-covid and it continues to be a work-in-progress. (I would guess as funds come-in) The owners definitely have their hands full. I admire their tenacity and commitment. The room was clean and tidy and updated with a fridge, microwave and flat screen TV. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure and hot water was good. Breakfast was normal Wyndam hotel fare, coffee was brewed and not the liquid "mocha-mat" crap in most of them. (BIG plus for me). The staff (owner) was excellent and very friendly. Pricing was the lowest in the area. Yah, I suppose, it's a little beat up due to it's age. An oldie-but-goodie though and slowly being brought back to life. I loved it. It brought back a lot of super, great memories of long ago family vacations in Holiday Inn's with a huge inside pool areas. I could have just sat in the (empty) pool area of this hotel for an hour just day dreaming. (wondering where all the time has gone) If your looking for cheap digs in Hannibal. Right off 61. This hotel is fine. Actually, kinda fun if you're an old guy like me.

Loved our stay here. The hotel is definitely in a state of being refurbished but if they keep at it and get it back to repaired, it will be an amazing place. For now, it's a great place for a quick overnight. The breakfast was above par and the staff incredible. Hope we can come back this way and see the progress in the future.

The property appears to be an older building partially updated. Not all amenities are open but you can see where theyve been renovating and improving. It suited our family well as it was clean over all and comfortable. Quiet during our stay with not many guests. Would stay here again for price and accomodations and quiet.

Very old property in disrepair. Pool closed. Freight trains running behind property all night. Room ok, breakfast minimal. No coffee in room.

Getting pretty run down and in need of a remodel.

First room didn't have working AC. Got moved and the second room and the AC didn't work. When I asked for a refund they said they couldn't cause it was after 4pm (it was 6pm). The pool and hot tub are permanently closed. Pictures haven't been updated and they are using old ones that do not like the rooms.

Staff was polite and very willing to make my stay comfortable.

When we checked in it was the maintenance man that did it. We had to move rooms because we were not in the room that we had booked.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was decent. The hotel looked like it had just reopened and they were still upgrading things. The pool was out of order but we were just passing through town so it wasn’t a big deal. Priced reasonable for a one night stay.

We called and asked if it would be okay for us to check in close to midnight, and they said yes. When we arrived, nobody was there to check us in. We waited for a long time and called several times, but we just ended up getting a room at a different hotel down the street.

The pictures were deceiving. This is a place for truckers, construction workers, and people at a tough spot in their life, not a vacation spot or place to overnight as a mother with a couple of kids. The manager was wonderfully friendly and worked with me when I wanted to check out after 30 minutes because of loitering men in the parking lot, tough looking guys going in and out of rooms, and a lot of noise. He transitioned us to a more protected room, but the place just seemed to not be aging well. The grout around the tile in the bathroom was brown, but the room was clean, overall. Breakfast was decent and well stocked.

We were there for two days in the beginning of May, 2024. Pool wasn’t open and was being repaired. They had one washer and dryer but the dryer didn’t work and the lady in their housekeeping laundry area said she’ll dry it for me for $5 in their industrial dryer and the desk gent said he’ll do it free. I asked if there was a laundromat near by and there wasn’t any on that side of town. I was a bit upset since their website said they had a washer and dryer. I am in the middle of a two week vacation/trip. The desk person then spent an hour fixing their dryer for me to use. A lot of the building was not in use because they were trying to update the rooms. So when we went it was quiet. They were trying hard to make the building nice but that takes time. I was happy with the stay besides the issue with the dryer. I looked forward to the pool but I could live without it. If a person just needs a room to sleep for the night and then continue on their trip, this would be fine. Call ahead if you’re wanting to use the pool with kids or need the washer/dryer to be sure they are up and working.
