A very comfortable stay in a great location. Close enough to town without being right in it. Also had a delicious meal at The Mez Club less than 10 minute from Bay Beach Motel. Would definitely stay again.

This motel was perfect for our stay in Byron Bay. Right on the outskirt of the town so it was quiet, but walkable to everything! The self-parking was easy and convenient. The lady at reception was SO nice and accommodating. Our room exceeded our expectations with size and comfortability. We were all very pleasantly surprised when we walked in! Would absolutely recommend staying here for your Byron Bay vacation.

This is the best motel we have ever stayed in. From the outside it looks prerty standard, but the room ww had was fitted out to hotel standard, modern, tasteful, clean and well organised. The pool was clean with good shade and loungers. We would love to go back in the future.

Easy booking and check in. Property is central and easy walking to the beach and main shops. Clean and spacious (a little noisy with the skate park next door) but once inside the room, no issue at all. Super friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay

The moment we arrived everything went wrong! We arrived and the lady behind the desk couldn’t find our booking! This took ages for her to find anything to do with my name, once she did find the booking she told us it had been cancelled and they didn’t have that room available!! The lady behind the desk kept insisting that she was filling in while the boss was at a meeting she had no clue what was going on tbh! This was the first time we had heard of this they said they wasn’t able to take payment so cancelled it and out the room back out there to be taken. Apon talking to hotels I was told they should only take payment from when you arrive! At this point we’d been travelling all day we just wanted some where to put our stuff and head out and eat. They said they had another room but cost more! When I challenged why should I pay more I was told again well we don’t have the room you booked! We took the room, asked to sign paperwork that was for the original room we declined. We’d been given the keys to the room and still again someone come up to get passport documents which they hadn’t got. This is one of our worst experiences to date with checking in to a hotel/motel! The room was ok plug sockets are randomly located around the room.

The property is was well maintained and the staff were very nice and helpful. Overall very good, however the downsides is the thin walls where you can hear a lot of the neighbours and the skatepark.

The hotel is very convenient (5 minute walk) to the main beach. A motel style hotel. Unfortunately, we were assigned a room with a connecting door which wasnt noise proof. The guests in the adjoining room partied until 0500AM. If you stay, dont get a connecting room. The staff was great.

The location was great. Park was tiny and could barely get out of car. Our room smelt like someone had been in there for a month smoking pot. Absolutely horrible. The room itself was pretty clean but the shower was discusting and full of mould. The manager was nothing but rude from the lead up to our stay all the way to when we left. It's definitely overpriced for what is there. During the night we definitely didn't feel safe with the amount of scary people coming and going. From sex workers to god knows what. Would definitely not stay there again.

Well located in town. Bed is quite firm. Park at front of room if you are downstairs. Bit pricey at $202 per night but it is Byron Bay!
