Friendly staff at family owned motel. Because it is an older motel, be aware that there is not much for sound proofing, so you do hear the highway noise. Bathrooms have been updated and room was clean.

I had a fabulous stay. The girls greeted you with such warmth and so friendly. They have great knowledge of the area and were so personable. This was my first time travelling alone and I felt so comfortable and safe. The property is close to everything you need and I had the best Tom Yum soup from Silk Thai in Blackheath. I would highly recommend this motel and will definitely be back. And the shower after walking The Grand Canyon track…just perfect xx

The only concern that it was not possible to opem the door of the wardrobe because the refrigerator was im the way (just), A big plus was that the staff were vey friendly and helpful, so we woudn't hesitate to come back,

We needed last minute accommodation while attending the Bathurst 1000. High Mountains had 1 room available and we jumped at the chance. The room was neatly renovated and very clean. The communication with the staff was flawless and I cannot fault anything. Thankyou for a wonderful stay to top off a wonderful weekend away.

Refurbished bathroom excellent. Very well designed. Attractive modern tiles. Room newly painted very fresh. Excellent bed. Linen so fresh and clean. Receptionist gracious and helpful. Good breakfast. Soft poached eggs. Delicious. I usually get bullet hard poached eggs in motels so this was a treat. Thank you.

This is a traditional road-side motel but it's well maintained and very clean. Also the room was fairly quiet, slightly back from the highway. The shared kitchen is very handy if you want to make yourself a quick breakfast.

I liked that it was convenient to town so could easily find off the highway, easily walk to the post, coffee shop, bookstore, etc. while while getting a little exercise through the neighborhood

We liked the cosy room which was warm & comfortable enough without using the air conditioner even though outside temp. got down to 5 degrees at night. Room had good bathroom amenities.
