Excellent hotel close to the bus route. Large selection of food choices for breakfast. Dinners are by reservation and also excellent at a reasonable price.
The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable. We had a balcony, which I recommend as very nice to sit out outside.

We loved the apt that we stayed in at Hotel Edelweiss. It had 2 bedrooms with beds, a loft with a bed and a very comfortable couch which can also sleep one person. The kitchen was well appointed. The table and living room area was gorgeous with incredible views. We were so exhausted from our trip that we got pizza and wine and ate in. We’ll be back!!

Gorgeous hotel with spacious rooms, a delightful dining room, and an incredible sauna/spa area. Not to mention the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains from every side of the property.

This was my second stay at Hotel Edelweiss during business in Chur. There are dozens of great hotels in Chur too, but I gladly make the 1-hour drive through the mountains for the amazing views and the 3-course dinner! The hotel is a great value for your money, especially considering dinner, a complementary local public transport pass, and the beautiful landscape. The town center is just a few minutes away by foot, where there are numerous restaurants and stores.
Pros:
- Very friendly staff
- Great views and location (close to mountains, lake)
- Amazing 3-course dinner available (included with some bookings)
- Large sauna with view onto landscape
- Complimentary public transit pass during stay
- Free parking (but spaces are limited)
- Lake (roughly 4km perimeter)
Cons:
- Lack of variety at breakfast (no vegetables or warm foods)
- Small TVs in rooms (holding my phone at arm's length in bed makes a larger display)
- WiFi signal can be weak depending on room location

Excellent breakfast and dinner, great view onto the mountains. Free parking is available but there are not many spots. Rooms are quite small unimpressive.
I accidentally left a laptop charger (including a Swiss adapter) in the wall. I called twice to ask if they had found it. The first time, I was told they would get back to my by the end of the day. No answer. Several days later, I called again, and was informed that nothing had been found in my room. Either my charger and adapter were thrown away, stolen by guests/staff, or found and I was not informed. In any case, unacceptable.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. The sauna was lovely. The room wasn’t quite sound proof and we could hear an alarm going off at 4:30am! The restaurant in the evening gets booked up quickly, so you need to get in early with a reservation. The breakfast was a typical continental, lots of fruit on offer, nicely healthy. Location is good for hiking and close to shops.

Timm was exceptional at welcoming us, giving us passes for trams and other amenities in Davos, and just a warmth of welcome overall. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We arrived before normal check-in hours and were accommodated immediately. We would highly recommend this property!

The staff at the Hotel Edelweiss is great! From check in where the clerk actually walked me around the lower level of the hotel to find the street side entrance for our luggage to their helping with a number of things about town. This is primarily a wintertime hotel with skiing built into the design but a great summer stay as well.

We stayed here recently while passing through Switzerland and found this hotel to be lovely and friendly. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us maps and bus/tram passes and making some great suggestions of things to see and do. Our room was clean, cozy, modern, and spacious for 2 people. Though it did get a bit warm at night, we just opened the windows and were quite comfortable. The breakfast offered each morning was delicious and had a nice variety.
We also ate dinner at the hotel one night and really enjoyed both the food and the service. We were here in the off-season so town was on the quieter side. However, it make waits and lines short for getting up the mountains, trails less crowded, and faster service at restaurants. The hotel is located off the main street with a parking lot and terrace out back. I would absolutely stay here again if we were in town. Very lovely hotel!

We really enjoyed the hotel edelweiss. Not super fancy, but great location just off the bus route in Davos, was able to find parking nearby, and clean, well organized location, as well as a nice breakfast. Would stay again.

This hotel was amazing. Every single staff member went out of their way to make you feel like you were staying in their own home. The room had an unbelievable view of the mountains, the food in the restaurant for dinner was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to go to the Swiss alps.

A 10 min walk from the Station, a bus stop is nearer, Shops and some Restaurants around the corner. The receptionist was welcoming and efficient, the hotel is done modern with an old twist, which made the hotel look warm and welcoming. We had a lovely quiet room, large balcony. The pillows on the bed were too soft for us, but massive. Great views which you can enjoy with a drink from the bar taken to your room. Breakfast was good, nothing massive, but nice choices and friendly Service. We will for sure come back here when in Davos.

Rooms are well equipped and comfy. Reception staff are quite friendly. Very limited parking -- if you're driving to Davos, arrive early. Restaurants are about 10 min walk from the hotel, so no need to drive once you arrive.

Good continental breakfast before hitting the slopes. 15min walk to the train at the bottom of the Parsenn ski area or alternatively 5 min by bus. Simple but clean cosy rooms. Friendly and helpful staff

I was very pleased with my stay. The staff were courteous and the room was pleasant and comfortable. The view from our balcony was the best part. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend.

In October, we were given free lift passes so great for alpine walks. A short walk to the main lift. There is a slight retro "sanitorium" feel to the place - but sitting on our spacious balcony with a wonderful view certainly made me feel better. Good set evening meal in the restaurant and a good breakfast.

Probably the best 2 star hotel I have stayed in. I chose it for it's location and reasonable rates compared to other Davos hotels. It is a very short walk to the main street and bus stop and a relatively easy walk to nearby restaurants.
The reception and lounge areas have been recently refurbished and have a very modern look and feel. The lounge area was great for relaxing with a book and a cuppa in the evening (no TV).
Breakfast was a very good all you can eat buffet.
The room was comfortable without being luxurious (it's a 2 star hotel, we were not looking for luxury). The shower was great (important after a day on the ski slopes).
There is a very good ski and boot storage room on the lower floor with a heated ski boot rail. There is even a new sauna facility (I didn't try this).
The only slight criticism I have is about the computers in the reception area. These appeared to be for patrons use and were free. However I found them very difficult to use (and I work in IT). I wanted to access hotmail so that I could read my emails but could not get to the site.
However, overall a very good hotel which I would definitely recommend.

Was upgraded to a better room. Very nice and modern. Friendly staff, ample parking, no problems for a one night stay.
I did however, have a problem with the wifi (as I did in almost every hotel I stayed at during my European vacation). Even close to the hotel lobby, my room still had trouble picking up the signal (using iPhone 4).

I was worried because it was one of the cheaper hotels to stay at but was very happy with the service, comfort of the room, views and even breakfast was great. I would definately stay here again next time.
