Modern resort built in traditional style, Beautifully situated on the lakefront. Helpful staff and excellent restaurant. Great value. Water access from parking lot which is extremely difficult to find due to lack of signs. Highly recommended.

It is located in a quite area by the lake. Food is decent in terms of quality but not over the top stuff. The kitchen could be better stocked though. The staff was friendly and helpful in spite of the property running full capacity. Overall, quite a value for money deal.

The hotel is adequate, fantastic location but poorly maintained. The cooked breakfast is standard omelet, which is lovely though commonplace throughout India.coffee is awful, standard Bru which is almost 50% chicory. Our room was not cleaned and the bath tub not jetted. Airport transfer at 1500 rupees is not available and we were charged 2500 to get to our next resort, Aquatic floating, just south of Kochi town. They seem to be catering more for domestic visitors wanting family holiday as opposed to foreigners looking for an experience. This is a shame as the location is amazing, the lake view incredible and at night you can watch bats in the trees, providing there is not a pool party in progress to distract them. They had their alcohol licence revoked & are keen to be paid cash, which l dont normally take issue with, but l felt odd on this occasion l certainly dont imagine much of the cash is passed to the workers, who though friendly did not seem well motivated. The location and wild life saved this stay, l would not return.

The hotel is in beautiful location nothing short of idyllic. Preceded by a quaint boat transfer. On disembarkment the place looks fantastic.... The male receptionist, possibly manager was cold, he managed to make me feel l was intruding & l don't quite know how. We stayed only 2 nights, whilst we were out for the day our room was not cleaned, so much for daily house keeping. The food was adequate & restaurant staff far more hospitable, breakfast omelet was great though ready made white tea and coffee awful. The only juice was watermelon which was warm and we had to pay for a bottle of water. The general maintenance is poor, shower over an old bath, which is not a jetted tub! Were it not for the location I doubt this place would survive. Sadly l would not return.
