I felt like Gulliver in Lilliput going into my room. Everything seemed miniature...I am 173cm (5’8”) and had to bend way down to put the key into the door lock. The door and frame were miniature, too. The mattress of the double was so soft I’d have preferred sleeping on the floor. Luckily the room had a twin bed too with a decent mattress. The nightly rate was pretty cheap but one would at least expect a mattress you can get a decent night’s rest on!

It is relatively good location to shopping. But it is a bit old.

On very busy street with lots of public transportation available. Great air conditioning like this is not found in all Japanese hotels.

It smelled just as bad as it looked. The bathroom smelled moldy. The room smelled more than expected in terms of cigarettes. The mattress was old and had stains and dark spots on it.

Really not clean and full of inserts, hair and rubbish inside the room. Intense smoke smell is recorded.

Booked a room (Smoking). Was looking for non-smoking, all booked, but didnt expect that bad smell. The room and the hotel interiors looks really old, need to remodel. The location is good, staff are nice.

The room seemed to be clean and the bed also seemed to be clean. HOWEVER!!! I had more than 15 tick bites just one night stay.

The staff is nice, environment is OK. But, the bed is so old, I feel Iron spinning on my back on the bed, it is so hard, the refrigerator is noisy!
The bed needs to replace

Friendly staff but room is not that clean and very old. The wall and facilities with dirt and old water marks. Blanket is old with tea stains and cigarette smell. Not too close to station..At least 18 mins walk.

the price was pretty reasonable, and workers including cleaning ladies were very friendly and helpful. It was 5min from Akasaka station by walk so I'd say location was also good. however considering the size of the room provided, heating facility was not enough to heat enough room so I had to use extra blanket to keep warm. And maybe it was smoking-free room, there was smell of cigarette in the room.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was at the front where there was a busy main road but as we were high up it didn't affect our sleep at night. The shower/bathroom was the smallest we had ever seen and was similar to that of a caravan with just enough room for a 6' 4"" man to sit down! No tv channels in English. Western breakfast had a basic choice. Convenient position for a walk to Ohori Park and subway station was 5 mins walk away and 4 stops from Hakata Station.

Location good...a bus ride away from everything. A few good restaurants in the immediate area...but no real shopping. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Room a little dated...but clean and perfect for a short stay. Room was more spacious than some hotels in Japan which was a nice surprise...there was even a second bed. Bathroom very small and tight...smallest Ive experienced in Japan...but functional. Free breakfast was very basic...bread for toast, rolls, boiled eggs, tea, coffee, orange juice. A/c was heavenly during hot and humid summer weather. Overall a very good hotel if you just need a basic place to stay and sleep. Would definitely stay again if in Fukuoka.

Reasonable priced hotel and simple breakfast. Check-in staff Wang was helpful and most hotel staff were friendly and polite. Hotel is about 150m from subway Akasaka.

The size of the room, for one person, is OK. The door is a little low, but OK to get into the room and the ceiling is more than high enough. The bathroom is very small. There is no phone in the room. If you want to make a call, you have to use a cell phone on go back to the front desk to get information or something fixed. There is no information in the room about how to use anything. Which means that after you get to the room, you have to go back to the front desk to find out how to use the TV, internet, radio... You cannot get into the room until 3:00pm. All other hotels have let me in between 1:00-2:00. You have to leave the room by 10:00am. All other hotels have let me stay until 12:00-1:00pm. If all you are wanting the room for is to sleep, this hotel is OK. If you want to be able to do anything else, it is VERY difficult at this hotel.
