The location was great and convenient. However, weekend could get very loud as they are surrounded by bars and night clubs. Their sound proof are poor, even though I was on the suite higher floor.

This hotel is in a very lively area. There are restaurants, shops, and 3 night clubs very close by. The only bad thing was that I could hear the partiers at night a few nights. I was on the 8th floor. Maybe earplugs would have helped. I loved that we could easily walk to Taipei 101 and the metro. We ate at the brunch buffet several times. They had both western and local food. Everyone found things they liked. The people at the front desk spoke English and were very helpful. The room was clean and they had complimentary bottles of water and coffee and tea that they replenished. My husband and son worked out at the gym which is next door. They said it was a very nice gym and had everything they needed.

The room had a stale smell and there were stain on the carpet.

Perfect location, we walked all over to shop, eat and sight see. Right by Breeze mall and a block away from Taipei 101. Friendly staff and they took care of guests during typhoon, felt safe. Did not pre-purchase breakfast, but ate there every morning. Did not have rooms cleaned, but front desk had everything needed, including umbrellas. Loved the gym!

Amazing place to stay with or without kids. Spacious rooms and easy access to taxis or trains. If you like to shopping thats what this area is all about. On weekends it can be loud as there is a nightclub at the next building and people party till 5 am

Nice and clean hotel and staff and great location but you hear young people making noises until 2-3 in the morning even at the top. Wish the window was thicker.

The hotel was in the right place. Small but worked well for being in Taipei, a block from the 101 building and sounded by malls. The room was nice, and the AC worked well. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

This hotel was recommended by my friend who lives in Taipei. It’s a great hotel to stay at. It’s close to lots of food and shopping. If you like to go to the gym, they use a real gym and it’s one of the best gym I’ve ever worked out at.

The room was large. The bed was best I slept on in long time when staying at other hotels. AirCon was cold and fresh. The lighting was great in the room. The bathroom room was large and shower was great! Hotel staff was nice and friendly. Reception staff spoke english and Spanish, Spanish is my first language but I am also fluent in English. The restaurant looked great, but I only had drinks. Overall great stay. Location is great for shopping and entertainment. I am doing this from my phone. I cannot upload photos, I'm trying to. Hopefully I can later

The staff was really great. Helped with everything that they could.
And the gym is something else. It’s a real one. Located one minute walk from the hotel. Even in Las Vegas the hotels aren’t offering gym like that.

The whole hotel, including the rooms, smells terribly musty like mold. They use a lot of perfume to cover up the smell but it’s the moldy smell is way too strong to be covered up. I honestly had the worst headache and allergy while staying there. The front desk was pretty rude. The room bathroom is dark and dingy. We were on the 7th floor but heard drunk people talking loudly from the street all night until 5am. I’m a VIP but didn’t receive any upgrade and the only perks they gave me a couple drink tickets (which didn’t include alcoholic drinks) for juice at their little dining area (but juice is already free if you pay to dine there in the morning). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone due to the terrible smell, loud noise all night, and rude front desk staff.

Excellent gym facility, good breakfast options. very helpful staff.

Everything is good. Location is close to the center of the city. The one thing that would not get me back is the noise from nearby crowds partying too late. It didn’t get quiet until 3 or 4 in the morning. Can’t stand it. Didn’t get a good night sleep.

All was OK. Especially the staff, from the front desk to the room cleaning are very kind.

It was a great experience! In the beginning our air conditioning didn't work properly so they change us to another room, that was bigger then the one we booked

Home Hotel has always been a go-to stay for us due to it's location. And we love the intimate setting since it's more a boutique hotel. But this time around a lot of changed, the renovation of the lobby honestly made the property loose it's charm. And then the street now home to a popular bar makes it excessively noisy. There were screaming from the bar's patrons till 6am daily. not just the weekends. The weekends the street was just overpacked to the point that it's ridiculous. I understand this isn't home hotel's fault though .. just unfortunate that they have now a very noisy neighbor.

This hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the 101 Tower, with lots of dining options and shops and also close to the subway. Staff were friendly and helpful in providing information on places to visit. The room was very comfortable and quiet.

A lot of smokers. Night noisy especially Thursday and Friday nights.

Well situated, beds were very comfortable and my family appreciated being a stone's throw away from Mitsukoshi, Taipei 101 and convenience stores. We did not experience any noise even on a Friday/Saturday night despite the bar downstairs and opposite the road. Staff were responsive and helpful.

This hotel is not what is states. Make sure to read the reviews. Although the location OK, it was right next door to a lounge/bar. All night I was listening to thumping of music. The towels were stained. The bathroom was not clean. Also, the front staff who checked us in (although very nice and pleasant) forgot to give our passports back after checkin in. We ended up only staying one night and not five and got charged one night penalty (ridiculous)!! I would NOT recommend this hotel unless you like listening to base all night long.

Super convenient location and even though it’s right above a bunch of late night bars or clubs, it’s still quiet enough of a room (11th floor). The room was definitely good enough for what I needed but 2 tiny things which doesn’t make me love this place any less, but the DND button didn’t seem to work in the room. I couldn’t identify if it was turned on or not. The tv remote was also hard to use, maybe it was broken or running out of battery but I had to press buttons multiple times and really really hard. Still a great hotel that I will stay in the future.
3.0 / 5.0
Only issue is that Friday and Saturday night between 10pm and 2am it can get noisy from the crowd downstairs gathered near the bars. It’s hit or miss depending on the crowd. So if you need a guaranteed quiet setting, you may want to consider other options. Otherwise, it’s a good hotel. Staff does a great job, similar to other top hotels in Taipei
