Everything was wonderful

2nd time at resort. Took 4 times of calling to get clean towels. Maid took dirty towels but never replaced them. Gotten eaten alive by mosquitos and other bugs on the 1st floor. Last time was on 3rd floor with no bug issues. Will only book again if they can guarantee not being on bottom floor. Had serial smokers above us with balcony door opening every 30 mins from 3am to 8am. Wish they had a non smoking wing for people who are sensitive to cigarette smoke. Bartenders and beach bar are great.

Shikotzi and the rest of the front desk staff were amazing. Along with my time spent there.i will see them again.

Great beach - not crowded, clear water and lots of chairs. Good location to walk to town.

Loved our stay. We will definitely be back! The villas are cozy, spacious, and clean. As someone who hates dirty hotels, my expectations were met with ease. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We fell in love with the pool bartender, Minerva! She was kind, god-fearing, and hilarious. We loved our breakfast served, Pat (Patricia), who made us laugh and kept it real. Great people, doing great work.

Great location. Friendly staff, amazing stay overall

Rooms were nice. View was good too.
Food quality was average. Breakfast was really poor with virtually no healthy options - in the end we only ate it twice despite paying for it for the entire trip.
Food quality compared to cost was very bad. They additionally charge service fees which is ridiculous since the food was poor...
Pools were nice. Staff are generally pleasant although no assistance with baggage.
Elevators can take up to 6 or 7 minutes if theres a lot of people waiting.
Not coming back and would not recommend it. 3 stars seems a fair outcome.

Very disappointing. Beach smelled like gas and sewage , water in the bathroom ran brown , run-down interiors, pots and pans were all old, poor quality , scratched, we had to buy and use own own

Great location close to everything the island has to offer. Many restaurants to choose from for the evenings we chose to stay on the resort. Great staff. Very accommodating.

From the minute I arrived, the aroma of cleanliness welcomed me as I entered the lobby. I was then greeted by the executive manager in charge who made sure I was checked in and in my room in a matter of minutes. The rooms are spacious and are situated right in front of the aqua waters of the Bay.. From the friendliness bartender there at the swim up bar, the housekeepers, and the outdoor ground keepers, makes my want to return to the SIMSON BAY HOTEL. Till the next time!

I arrived early like 11:30 close to 12 pm . The lady at the desk said I have to wait until 4 pm to get my room. I had an early flight I wake up around 2:30 am. Wasn’t 2 happy about it. But I took the shuttle and went to explore. When I got back , Mr Gimpson help me get my room right away. He was very nice and helpful. I wanna say thanks again to him. I was exhausted and was ready to go to bed. My feet were swollen due to my pregnancy , I was hot . But somehow I manage I know I was on vacation. Love the resort , everything is walking distance , too many restaurants I didnt know where to go eat . I think I pick one of the best locations for my stay. I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends .

Our stay here was enjoyable. The hotel is a bit outdated but the location is ideal. They are pretty high up on a hill so the walk up and day was pretty brutal in the heat but many things were within walking distance. They also have drivers on the property so it’s easy to get rides. There were faint smells of cigarettes but overall the property was clean. Breakfast was pretty good and had a wide variety. The rooms are all adjoining I believe so that was super annoying. We could hear our neighbors arguing and ringing their bell late at night. The rooms also don’t have full body mirrors so that really sucked not being able to see your full outfit before leaving everyday. Staff was very helpful and so friendly ! We had a problem with our fridge and maintenance was there in just mins! Overall enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn’t stay again because of the adjoining rooms and no full body mirrors.

The waterfront rooms are really phenomenal. Comfortable, easy access, and great views. The hotel has access to a public beach that wasnt too crowded and a dock where you can enter the waist high crystal clear water. It was also super easy to walk to the restaurants, bars, and casinos nearby. I woukd highly recommend!

I recently stayed at the Simpson Bay Resort Marina & Spa with my sisters and we had a wonderful experience overall. The hotel is beautifully designed, with a modern and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like the complimentary water. The ocean view from our room was stunning, adding to the overall experience.
The hotel’s location is also a major plus, as it’s conveniently situated near restaurants, supermarkets and other places of interest.
However, one minor issues was the inconsistent Wi-Fi in the room which made it challenging to get some work done. Another issue was the stagnant water in the road on the path to the hotel as it made walking there extremely difficult.
Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. Maarten. It offers great value for the price and provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I look forward to returning in the future.

This property is nice but difficult to navigate. Once you understand it, it’s easier to get around. Great pool bar by The Villas . Minerva is a primo bartender! Enjoyed the low key vibe and good service.

This is a beautiful property. It is huge as well. We stayed 6 nights at the villas and had a time. Food is good, lots of restaurants. Multiple pools and beach access. Taxis at lobby is you need them. They organize activities as well. The only down side is, its noisy at night, theres a bar next door. Overall we had fun. We swam, sailed to Anguilla, went to philipsburg and maho beach, we had a time! Thanks to all the workers at simpson bay for making our trip fun.
