I booked a night stay at Los Patios when another hotel I wanted to stay in was booked. I was so glad I did! The pictures don't do it justice. It's a super cute boutique hotel with thoughtful artistic design. The rooms are spacious and clean. The common areas provide plenty of spaces to rest and lounge. Since there are only 5 rooms, it is peaceful and seems you are the only one there. The breakfast was great as well. The best part of the hotel is the super service from owner, Xiomara. She was very helpful with anything needed. I was so exhausted from sightseeing when I checked in that she ordered food for me so I did not have to venture out of the hotel. She also helped me arrange transport to the next city. I wish I could have stayed at this hotel longer.

Wish we stayed longer!

This place was so delightful and the staff so wonderful we actually changed our plans to come back here for some extra time at the end of our stay. Angelo, Jose, and the rest of the crew were super friendly and helpful. If you’re lucky enough to be here for New Year’s Eve like we were the street they are on is AMAZING. Goes from quiet to jubilant as soon as the sun goes down and everyone parties into the wee hours with tons of fire works and piñatas. Hard to imagine coming back to Granada and not staying here if it’s available.

Lovely place and wonderful service. A little way out of the main attractions but way to get too. The rooms are simply but elegantly done. We loved the breakfast that was included while drinks and snacks were good value.

My favorite hotel during our 2 week visit in Nicaragua, and we stayed in a number of nice ones. Loved that it was a few blocks off of the main square so there was a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. This hotel has only a handful of rooms but the main area of the hotel are a number of spacious patios for intimate gatherings. There are numerous options for comfortable seating including couches, hammocks and tables and chairs. Most of the patios are covered so there is relief from the heat but off of the largest one is a beautiful pool to cool off in. The breakfast was amazing, serving the most delicious coffee along with homemade bread, cheese, pinto gallo and eggs. Would definitely stay again if we have the opportunity to return to Granada, which I hope we will.

Granada is a lovely colonial village is Nicaragua. This hotel is a few blocks from the main square which meant that it was quiet and peaceful. Staff was helpful and polite. Amazing made to order breakfast with eggs, fruit, pinto Gallo and freshly baked bread. Great place to relax after a hot day of sightseeing. Probably my favorite hotel during my 2week stay in Nicaragua.

I would go back to Nicaragua if only to stay longer in Grenada and Los Patios. It was really beautiful and the City was a lot of fun!

Loved our stay from arrival to departure. Stayed 3 nights and would have been very happy to stay much longer. Very clean ,quiet, private. Breakfast was delicious, staff was attentive and friendly. We took two tours and a taxi, all arranged by staff. The pool is a delight after being out and about in the heat of Granada. This property has only five guest rooms so feels like staying in a luxurious, private residence, heaven!

We love Los Patios. We have stayed there twice and will make it part of every trip to Nicaragua. My husband believes that it is intended for guests to relax on one of the patios rather than in the rooms. The management went out of their way to welcome us and make our stay exceptional. They arranged for a driver to take us on a personal sightseeing trip to places we would not have seen all in one day had we used a tour. We also had massages at the end of the day which were excellent. We wanted to try nacatamales which were being sold in one of the local homes. They arranged to buy them for us and even cook them in the early evening. Everything was great.

Angelo,Armando,Janet,Keyling,Jimmy,Omar---and of course the unbelievable manager---Xiomara! Yes, the Hotel was beautiful and well done---but, the staff was just tremendous. We loved the decor and style of the hotel, but the quiet serenity and the great staff that were always there to help left you alone and had perfect timing to ask if you needed anything! We adored Granada for so many things---hard to list. The Nicaraguans are "buena gente"...thank you all so much.

Just wait until you enter the building and you will be surprised how beautiful this place is inside. The common area is super spacious and well decorated. All is quiet, a nice break from the day spent in the city or whatever you might have done during the day. Rooms are more on the simple side but are large and comfortable, so is the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and with good variety. If you prefer yoghurt and granola, just ask for it. Fresh fruit is served every day. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed for 4 nights and could have easily stayed longer. Same with others we met during our stay. Highly recommend this place.

We were so thrilled with our stay. We loved all of the open air accommodations, both in the room and on the hotel grounds. The breakfasts were authentic and filling, the staff was eager to share their city, and the location is just a couple blocks from the central park. We spent many hours relaxing by the pool, enjoying our mid-day, hand-squeezed Macua's during our daily siesta.

2 night stay- loved it and would definitely go back. Light, bright, clean design with five different courtyards to hang out in... Variety of hammocks, swinging chairs, outdoor sofas, pool to lounge by. High quality delicious breakfast, Nica (Gallo pinto, fried sweet plantains/maduros, salty hard local cheese, eggs to order, cream, tropical fruit salad, French press coffee, juice) or continental style. Sweet and helpful staff. Quiet location but walkable and convenient to the central plaza/park.

Great place to relax and unwind after exploring the city of Granada! I think there were 4 beautiful open patio spaces to relax in with chairs/hammocks/pool. We loved access to cold drinks(soda and alcohol)for a small fee in the common refridgerator. Also loved the breakfast choice/quality.

The staff is absolutely fabulous, and terrifically engaging and helpful.
The location is sublime, as far as proximity to the beach, but the night life is a bit loud, yet that is easily tempered by leaving a fan on, and more than compensated for by the easy access to the restaurants prolific nearby.

We loved Los Patios. The staff was warm, friendly and helpful. The Scandanvian decor was outstanding. My daughter said she wants her future home to look like the hotel. Very open and airy, with lots of comfortable seating areas - hammocks, sofas, a bed, lounge chairs, bean bags. A nice pool. An amazing breakfast with lots of fruit, eggs, cheese. A spa in the back. Nice breezes throughout the hotel and comfortable a/c in the rooms. About a 5 minute walk to the main strip with restaurants, another 5 minutes to the cathedral and Central Park. Highly recommend this oasis. We felt like we were staying at the home of the President.

We received a very welcoming greeting and offered a beverage when signing in. The manager was very helpful with excellent recommendations of things to see and do. Thank you all for making our stay so great!

As we arrived to Granada on a Monday morning with no idea of the hidden gem that awaits us. From the outside, the hotel looks like a plain building but as you walk-in you just know that this place is going to make your stay in Granada that extra special. We arrived early for our check-in time which is 12:00pm and they were kind to store our luggage. Inside the hotel you see chic contemporary furniture that looks European but incorporated with Nicaraguan artisan. You'll see hammock chairs all over for comfort and by the pool high palm trees. The hotel is quiet, refreshing and overall just AMAZING! The hotel recommended us to have breakfast at Kathy's Waffle House walking distance from the hotel and OMG the best banana pancakes I ever had with a Nicaraguan style eggs, Gallo Pinto, friend plantains and cheese. They also recommended dinner at El Sanguan the best restaurant with the best parrilla I have ever had meat so soft and tender and you have to try flan con coco for desert. This hotel was by far the best hotel in Granada and on the plus side, they prepare a complementary breakfast with your seating set up for you in the morning and everything. Also, it is walking distance to everything, we even took the locals bus to Masaya to buy Nicaraguan artisan and gifts for very cheap prices. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family going to Granada.

Our two night stay at Los Patios in May 2014 was delightful. The property itself is beautiful with tons of common space that takes advantage of Granada's lovely weather to maximize the feel of being outside. Our room was lovely with high ceilings, a rain shower, and a comfy bed.
I thought that the hotel was perfectly located. It is quick walking distance to the downtown area, but not close enough to hear late night noise.
But what set our stay at Los Patios apart was the service we received. Los Patios arranged for a transfer for us from the Managua airport, and greeted us with a juice drink at arrival. Each morning we had a wonderful Nica breakfast with a giant bowl of fresh fruit and wonderful coffee (you also have the option of Continental breakfast, but I strongly recommend the Nica breakfast!). Then, as we figured out what we wanted to do with our day, the staff provided helpful recommendations and assisted us with booking taxis and activities. I know that we paid a bit of a premium for the taxis and activities booked through the Los Patios staff, but the $5 extra was generally worth it for us due to the ease of booking and the accountability for the taxi driver or tour operator.

This was a wonderful little hotel on a somewhat quiet street but easy walking distance to the heart of Granada. We spent a total of 5 nights here at the end of April/beginning of May. It doesn't look like much from the street but once you enter through the gates into the courtyard you instantly feel at home. The staff was amazingly helpful and attentive to anything that was needed. The morning breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. Coffee was the best we found during our entire stay in Nicaragua. By the time we left we actually felt like we were family. We will most certainly return!

Los Patios is so beautiful I practically gasped when we entered. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is one of the most gorgeously designed and inviting hotels I have ever been inside. The open courtyard contains the reception, kitchen, pool, swings, dining tables and numerous lounge areas. If you like Scandinavian design, you will love this place. I practically had to tear myself away from the hotel to see the sights of Granada, as I was so happy just lounging by the pool or in one of the swing chairs. The staff were also quite friendly. We arrived very early in the morning after a long drive, before our room was ready. They told us to relax in the common area, and we fell asleep in the hammocks. When we woke up, they brought us cafe con leche and fresh squeezed orange juice. The hotel is also very centrally located--an easy walk to the lakeshore, the central plaza, and many good restaurants and cafes. The block on which it is located is a little downtrodden but seemed pretty safe and, again, conveniently located. I would return to Granada just for this hotel.
