Cons: niseko village is not as convenient as hirafu for food, the hotel is a bit old

Ski- in Ski-out was nice
Good onsen

Everything was lovely, first night shower water was coming out brown and there was residual dirt in the bath tub. Used the onsen to wash so wasn’t a huge problem

Absolutely love this place! Stayed here before and we will definitely come back. So easy to hire ski equipment, buy lift passes and ski straight from the door. Great onsen , friendly staff and a cozy bar. Easy shuttle bus ride to HIRAFU . Highly recommend staying here!

Very helpful staff. Room was very nice, except we discovered stained bedsheets and a stained comforter and pillow cases. The bed set is all white and we found brown and green stains in various places. Pretty gross but the rest of the hotel was wonderful.

Very short distance to gondola access , ski in ski access to resort runs,
Breakfast was good with many options on offer ,

The hotel was in a perfect location for ski in/ out and the parking was free and plentiful. You do have to drive to get to the nice restaurants nearby but not more than 5 minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful and the onsen was great. The breakfast was not as busy as some reviews suggested and was fine to fill up for skiing. The ski room process was easy and convenient.
10.0
Access to Ski is very convenient, one directly from the second floor and other from the equipment rental shop which connected to the lobby. With magic carpet and gondola right next to the hotel. Very recommended for family with kids

Room was cosy, bed comfortable with fantastic views with we enjoyed waking up to every morning. The onsen was great with an indoor and outside pool. Staff were very helpful. Shuttles were on time and convenient. Skiing was amazing too.
Only let down by the food at breakfast. Although there seemed to be a large selection of Japanese food and some western food, it was always lukewarm or cold. Maybe even a few microwaves to heat up the food would have been helpful.

Good Mountain Snow view!

Very comfortable stay, great breakfast buffet, access to the ski mountain is excellent, some dining options available on foot, but there's a bus to go to the other resorts for more food options

This hotel attracted us at the first instance due to its reasonable price, given the fact that it is conveniently located by the ski lifts. Most other hotels with such convenience are much more expensive. We also love the fact that it is situated in Niseko Village instead of the very busy and crowded Hirafu.
Our Deluxe Room is very spacious and very clean. Although the bathroom is a bit small, it did not bother us that much. Good quality toiletries were provided and although the room was only cleaned every other day, we were provided with plenty of clean towels and yukatas for the onsen to last through those non-cleaning days.
Breakfast was fantastic – with a wide spread of different types of food to choose from. Although they are the same for the whole 1 week we were there, the variety is wide enough for us to choose different meals everyday if we wish so. Oh, the coffee was simply delicious and did not taste like machine-made ones at all.
The free shuttle from the hotel to Hirafu and other nearby areas are really convenient and reliable. It makes going into Hirafu for meals so easy. They are many buses which run through the day and even at late hours at night.
We have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful hotel to other guests to Niseko. We are so glad we chose this hotel, and missed our stay there already!
A shoutout to Galih from Tomioka Bar, Yanny from Front Desk and Dan from the equipment Rental Department.

The hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly. The room was large with a good view and directly on the slopes. One thing to be aware of is that if the top lifts are closed it’s a bus to the next resort, the gondola outside the Hilton was always very busy and too approx 30 minutes to get on. There slopes were varied though in the resort at the hotel.
The food was ok. Mass catering style. No option for just a meal. Just a massive Buffett with no other options close by, so again it’s the his if you don’t want to pay for the over priced buffet on the evening. Breakfast was nice though.
The bar area is lovely and the Onsen very nice. We are a few nights from the bar menu but it stops at 17:00pm, could do with extending that really.

Needs some work. Definitely great location but not quite up to par for the money. Always good breakfast and customer service but the property is looking tired. Really went out of their way to get us to kutchan

This is a simple but proper ski in / ski out hotel on the mountain. The staff are all very nice. Have stayed in the past and will likely stay again. Solid lounge, great place for Apres drink or two. Could be so much more with better food.

Staff are very friendly , excellent ski in ski out hotel !

On the whole we really enjoyed our stay. The bar staff were excellent and staff in reception were really helpful at all times. The buffet was very tired, particularly the evening one. Breakfast was largely better but somebody needs to teach the chef to cook scrambled eggs. They tasted like and had the consistency of water. Perhaps he was using water rather than a bit of milk or cream.
The only other issue we encountered was other hotel guests being ignorant of the onsen rules particularly surrounding mobile phones. One man was using his phone whilst sitting in the onsen facing the entrance and could have been taking pictures of naked adults and children for all we know. We alerted the hotel staff but guests need to understand it is a criminal offence in Japan as it most likely is in their home country as well.

It was great for the base of the ski resort, to leave your skis and equipment in a set locker that matched your room. The hire for the ski was also at the hotel. The shuttle bus was good although didn’t have enough time slots/routes that were good. Overall great hotel for ski in ski out location
6.0
Staying here doesn’t feel like you’re in Japan, which elsewhere is a place of meticulous service, cleanliness and high standards. Here you have a friendly but amateurish bunch of young staff, probably mostly there to ski themselves, delivering slapdash service at high prices to a captive audience.
Loved the onsen and the ski-in, ski-out location, and the on-site equipment rental is great. Food very mediocre. Rooms only serviced every 3 days, and our non-smoking room stank of smoke. Limited eating options around the hotel - staying in Hirafu would be much better for that.

The Hotel Ski in-Ski out is fantastic and not as much people compare to the Hilton side. But I think the hotel is due for a renovation the room can show history and the TV is old. Onsen in the hotel is great after a day of snowboarding, the ski school counter is within the hotel and the instructor Matt is so nice. The hotel location is not as convenient as Hirafu but is not that bad if you have rent a car.

The driver of the shuttle bus from kutchan station to hotel was super rude
The restaurant is below international standard
Super slow during peak lunch hours and disrupt your skiing schedule
Limited food choices
Spa is good
The outdoor onsen is also good

The room is a bit small for 3 people.and the restaurant hire some foreign staff one of them is very rude.

Nice rooms and bar. I expected much more from their restaurant. Especially since there are not that many alternatives around. They had only on set Hotpot menu. Next time I would go to Hirafu and stay there. So many more places to eat out

We stayed at the Green Leaf Niseko for 5 nights over Christmas and had an overall great experience. This was our first visit to Niseko and the hotel made it a great stay. The hotel is placed right on the slopes which is extremely convenient with lifts a few meters away. It is also a major plus that the hotel offers skiing rental + lift cards on the property.
The hotel offers an amazing onsen which is both indoor and outdoor. It is really the best way to enjoy after a long day of skiing. Another plus is that they offer free entrance to the onsen at the Hilton as well, however, we preferred the onsen at Green Leaf which overall was nicer.
Rooms were nice and large compared to Japanese standards. Overall, the condition of the room (+ bathroom) was a bit worn out, but everything was still very clean. The main light in the room made it look like a dentist room but this could be changed easily to make it more cozy.
Beware that Niseko Village is extremely small and basically consists of three/four hotels but frankly only 2 or 3 independent restaurants, which require some walking to get to. Hirafu is where the main restaurants and bars are located, and it requires a vehicle to get there. They offer a free shuttle bus which runs at the most infrequent/unreliable times, which is worth considering. The concept of the free shuttle is great but could definitely be improved.
The hotel's one restaurant ONLY serves hot pot every night which was our only disappointment.
6.0
Limited food facilities.
Shuttle bus to Hirafu and Kutchan infrequent
4.0
Nice service and hotel. Buffet hotpot dinner is the biggest let down since there’s no cooked food to order, along with sometimes the shuttle doesn’t haven’t enough seats during peak time so it’s stressful going to town around 530p
