I recently had the pleasure of staying at Amba hotel and I can confidently say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly and accommodating staff who made the check-in process seamless. The room itself was a standout feature of my stay. It was immaculately clean and well-maintained, which immediately put me at ease. The space was surprisingly large, offering plenty of room to move around and relax. The decor was modern and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Comfort is key when traveling, and this hotel did not disappoint. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I had restful nights after busy days of exploring. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, which further enhanced my stay. Excellent stay with great helps from the front desk thought a bit far from Ximen Station about 8-10mins walk. Lots of eateries around and several foot massage shops. Always feeling awesome to stay at Ximending. A very convenient location.

It’s my returned stay at amba hotel. This time I stayed for 4 nights. Requested for late check out due to evening flight but was only given 30mins extension. I borrowed an umbrella and left in the room. Upon checkout I informed counter staff umbrella was in the room. They took very long to check and insisting to locate the umbrella before agree I can go. Disappointed stay. Will not stay here anymore and will not recommend my friends to stay here.

Extremely convenient for the Ximending night market. Restaurants and stalls within walking distance. Bathroom and shower are separated, making it more practical. Recommended highly for those not looking to travel long distances. Would choose this hotel again.

This was a great property to stay in while in Taiwan, the room was nice and clean. The location was the best part though. It was right in the center of a really exiting part of town with many shops and local foods. It was easy to get many places by walking too which was nice. I definitely recommend this hotel for your stay!

We chose a room with window but all we saw was the rooms across from us. Their bedding was okay. The pillows were too low for me. The mattress was medium. The room was very spacious. I think overall it’s acceptable comfort wise. Location wise is excellent! It’s right at all the Ximending food area. Price wise, it makes sense because of the location. I would like to think that Ximending is a mini NewYork in this area.

The staff of Amba was very cooperative and friendly. When I asked pharmacy location, Joe kindly searched the location and explained how to get there with Google Map view. Besides, he wrote down Chinese memo for pharmacist with Hotel cards. I really appreciate that. Also, the room was really clean and cozy. I would like to recommend this place to my family and friends.

As a return guest, I was greeted by the Hotel Manager in person. After checking in, there was another surprise waiting for me in the room (a selection of fruits). I love AMBA Ximending as the room is so clean and the location is superb. Excellent value for money!

Excellent location (less than 10 minutes of walking from two subway stations), helpful staff, clean room and comfortable bed, breakfast food items have many tasty choices. But if you are looking for luxury, keep in mind that the design concept of this hotel is minimalist.

The room is a bit small. The layoit of the room is quite weird. The lights in the bath room and toilet are quite dark as the tiles are in dark colour. For safety reason, especially for old people can cause injury.

Confusion for the breakfast dining payment instruction, no clear instruction given as a start before dining, then the staff only come towards to your table multiple times for further clarification which I find it disturbance, that make me could not enjoy the breakfast in peace.

Good location but note that the area is car free after 6pm so if using private transfer, need to note this. Room is quiet even though it is next to major shopping street Bed is a bit too springy for my liking, though.

Location location location. It is right in the busy 西門町with lots of food choices, all the key souvenir brands & shops are easy to access. Hotel service is warm, I ask for arranging taxi to airport, and the staff accompany me to the taxi downstairs & help me with the luggage.

The hotel is surrounded by many shops and restaurants. The location is great for shopping, eating out, and it is close to MRT station. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.

The overall staying experience was excellent. Friendly and helpful front-desk and staffs. A few minor things that caused confusion and unpleasant experience: 1. The house-keeping sometimes forgot to re-fill the water bottles and shower gels/shampoo. One bathrobe was supplied instead of two on the last day. 2. Laundry: 2 washing machines were working instead of all 3 during my 5-night stay. And the time indicator gave incorrect duration and caused the delay of emptying the washing machine for the next guest. The other guest had removed my clothes and put into the dryer without my knowledge. After collected and folded the clothes only found out one "Calvin Klein" T-shirt and a beach short were missing. There was nothing I could do for the loss.

This was the 2nd time we stayed here. We booked 2 rooms this time round due to kids and elderly. Location wise no doubt that it is at a prime location in the heart of XMD. highly recommended. FOC usage of their washing machine and dryer. Only down side was that if you need anything (water, tooth brush...), you need to go down to their 5th floor reception to collect. Cleanliness of the room wise I will say subjective. We stayed for 3 nights. The cleaning was good after the first night. But after 2nd night, there were no emptying of the rubbish in the trash bin or tables despite putting the cleaning sign, no replacement of the showering amenities too. But I believe this should be a 1 off thingy

The hotel is located at the heart of Ximen shopping district. It is very convenient to go anywhere and get anything. Moreover the room is quiet even it is happening at the surroundings. Staff is very polite and helpful. Will stay here again when I visit Taipei in future.

The room had a small window, resulting in less sunlight. Amenities are decent (love the bedroom slippers). Water pressure and hot water availability were excellent. Despite the room having a large bed (bigger than a king-sized bed), additional guests had to pay an extra 660NT, which seemed unreasonable.

I would like to commend AM front desk EDDIE and BETH for their attention to service. Not only did they call a taxi for me but also escorted me outside to make sure the driver took me to the destination. Such wonderful attention! Loved that lobby had a scale so we could weigh our luggage. Rooms were super clean. Location was great!
