It was raining and around 930pm when we arrived to the hotel. The awning was blocked off due to construction. We didn't see the signs when we got there due to the wind knocking them down but there are signs pointing you to use the side entrance doors. It would've been nice to have seen the signs before we got wet walking to the front doors. Once we made it inside, we waited 5-10 minutes for an employee to come to the front desk to check us in. She was on a smoke break. Upon our initial inspection, the room seemed to be clean but the bathroom still had hair in it in several places from the previous guests and there was soap or cleaner left on the bathroom sink area. There was also urine under the toilet seat. I spoke with the cleaning staff the next morning and it was taken care of. The sheets were clean but the room could use some extra dusting. We only took advantage of the breakfast one morning and it was subpar. We were downstairs at 7:15 am and most of the food was gone with no employee in sight to refresh the food. By 7:45 the food hadn't been replenished (luckily there were pancakes). The area around the hotel is nice and luckily there are a lot of dining options.

Beautiful rooms. We were disappointed at breakfast to find only coffee to drink (which we don't). Juice was not working, so no cold option offered, not even water. Very low toilet in rooms, if hip or knee issues. We would stay again.

Even though there was a bit of construction (updating) going on, the place was still very pleasant. We actually ended up extending our stay since it was so nice.

This hotel was under construction and we were not warned. It would’ve been helpful to proceed had we known it was under construction. They placed a crib in our room, as requested, but with no mattress. When I asked the front desk for a mattress, the lady said she didn’t have a key and “what is in the room is what you get”. When we arrived to our room, the door was cracked open and it seemed the room hadn’t been finished being prepared. The coffee maker was out on the coffee table instead of on the counter. The ice bucket bag was missing. And the floor hadn’t been vacuumed. We did get decent sleep as the beds were comfortable. We would not recommend staying here, at least under the current management.

They were remolding the hotel. So it was cluttered with building materials. I am sure it will be gorgeous when it is finished. Just wished I knew this before booking

This property is under renovation, which was not disclosed when we booked on our family vacation. The tvs were not working in any room. The pool was closed. There were employees standing at the very front entrance smoking. The front desk employee was drinking out of a cup that had a sticker on it that said, “what the F*ck?”. We called the desk twice to get sheets and pillows for the pull out couch that we needed to use and when they finally arrived they were delivered by 3 young children(??). The room itself was clean, big, and comfortable, but as we walked off the elevator toward the lobby we spotted a huge cockroach crawling across the floor. The experience wasn’t the worst we’ve ever had…but definitely not what we expect at a Holiday Inn Express and Suites.

When we walked in the foyer is totally gutted for renovation which was fine but, the elevator was broken so the stairs were the only option. We got to our room which had definitely been remodeled but, not cleaned thoroughly. Bathroom was dirty, half drank drinks in the fridge, kids fingerprints and mouth prints all over the mirrors. They could not compensate any of our bill because we had booked through an online provider. Which did not make us happy at all! The only plus size to this stay was the location. It’s right off the highway.

They are renovating the hotel, there is no sign of where to enter. They have the front corded. The television its not working. Due to problems with the renovation. When i book the room they didnt mention, that they are doing some construction. I really wish i can get some of my money back. Because thats false advertising. The person at the front desk told me, if i have booked the room with them they would have given me a discount. But since i booked with hotels.com they couldnt do anything.

Under construction. Staff was good, but frankly, I’m absolutely over the no housekeeping unless requested thing in the Hotel industry. In fact, I’m purchasing an RV because of the lack of customer care across the industry. I travel for work and am completely over the falloff.

The property was under construction. They let us know that we had no tvs working in our room when we arrived at 6:45. She told us we could cancel but it was too late. Air conditioning did not work correctly and the floor in the room was soaking wet all the way from window to the door. I feel that we should have been told the room was not prepared for guests.

Our room was decent, it had some mold and stains in the bathtub. The pillowcases also smelled like body odor. The workers were very kind. Our main issue was the construction that we were unaware of. We paid $230 for a suite and were kept up all night by construction, and woken in the morning by what sounded like lawn mowers. The elevator also didn’t work on our last day, so we had to take the stairs to and from breakfast and to load the car. The staircase was filthy from the construction. The breakfast wasn’t bad.

Under construction. However, our room was recently done over but vanity light in bathroom did not work. Had reservation for “king suite” but gave us a double queen. I called to confirm the room 2 days prior and was assured it would be a king suite. Btw Suite just meant a couch in the room!!! Stayed 2 nights but the room was never made up. When we called at 3 pm to ask why the front desk informed us the maids had left for the day. No television service as they claimed Direct TV would not install the service until all construction was completed. We paid normal rates but got horrible service. BEWARE!!!!

Nowhere was I made aware at the time of booking that the hotel is currently under renovations. When we arrived we couldnt even enter through the front door. We had enter a door on the side of the hotel and work our way through the construction to the make shift front desk. We then had to wait while the lady at the desk found a computer that was working to check us in. We finally got to the room to find low water pressure which caused us to not be able to flush the toilet properly, half of the tv channels didnt work, and it took an extremely long time to get hot water for showers. The next morning, we went to check out and had to wait for almost 20 minutes for someone to even come back to the counter to check us out (later found out she had been outside smoking) The lady finally arrived in a tshirt, without any IHG identification and extremely unprofessional.

The hotel is under renovation. I booked a double queen bed room and pullout sofa for my family of 5. When we arrived to check in the clerk made us wait 5-10 while he finished whatever he was doing on the computer. He then checks us in just to realize they sold out of the double bed rooms. Absolutely the worst service someone could get from a Holiday Inn hotel.

When we first arrived we found out the hotel was under construction.We had to use a back door to get in.It was a pain with all of our bags because we had to lift everything over the curb.Once we got in our room we found out there was no TV.There was also no ice maker because it was broken and the ceiling was dripping water outside the elevator on our floor.We presented this all to the front desk worker but he told us to reach out to hotels.com for a refund .Other guests had the same issue.Oh and the pool was disgusting.It was cloudy and green.

When we arrived we found that the property is under renovations which was not shared before reserving the room. There was urine around the base of the toliet and unclean surfaces in the room. The Direct TV in the room was not working. We tried to call down to report it and the phone was not a working phone at all. It didn’t even have a cord. We went down to the front desk to report the tv and we were told to turn it off and then back on and it should start working, which we had already done multiple times…. It never did work. The pool was dirty and there were no towels by the pool. We had to go inside and ask for the towels to be refilled. Overall, very disappointing stay. We will not stay here again.

We were not given prior notice that a large portion of the building would be under renovation. Our room itself was nice, but I feel we should have received a discount to account for the rest of the hotel being a construction site. Definitely takes away from the experience.

Picked Holiday Inn Express in on phone didn't check reviews and the property is in full renovation. Property is a mess. TV are not working and management doesn't care. Will be complaining to Holiday Inn that this facility doesn't meet their standards or mine. Very expensive for terrible accommodations. Expedia you should have noted the construction details in your list. I have several more cities to stay in on this trip and I have used your app for over 20 years. I am very disappointed with your service on this occasion.

Hotel was under renovation so there was a smell of "construction" throughout the hotel. The second floor halfway was warm but once you got into the room it was hot. The AC unit in the room did not work. There were no open rooms to move to so we decided not to stay. The staff were helpful and understood the reason we did not stay. I'm sure that once the renovations are done, everything will be fine. But for now, i can't recommend it.

We arrived to find construction on both sides of the hotel (we were unaware). The woman at check in was very nice. She mentioned they just got new tv’s and that if it didn’t work, to just unplug it. Our tv didn't work at all during our stay. We are a family of 4 and only had towels for 2. When my husband when to get more, the attendant was stressed and said they were almost out of towels. We weren’t the only ones looking for more. At checkout we forgot to get a receipt so went back in to get one. The employee was outside smoking and we were told we couldn’t have one because we booked through Expedia. Maybe this is a new rule but it’s never been that way before.

Claimed it was newly remodeled but the room was not very clean. The air conditioning unit was really dirty. We had only a few channels on the tv and the phone did not work at all. Breakfast was ok but it was only 8 o’clock and they were running out of food and not putting any more out

Pool was closed but no big deal. No usb in the room for charging phone. My bad for forgetting my plug in brick but what hotels don’t have usb chargers these day? Elevator was glitchy going up and dropped a few inches a few times before finally going up. It felt like a carnival ride and I refused to take it again. I called the front desk about it but they didn’t seem concerned. Cable TV wasn’t working for my 2 night stay. Front desk said they were working on it. Last but not least they had a golf cart shuttle for bringing guests to local destinations like the golf course but front desk said it didn’t work because battery had died. I walked the mile or so. Biscuits and gravy were good by I Won’t stay here again.
