The staff was very friendly and kind. We requested breakfast to go so that we can catch the ferry, and they prepared a great breakfast for us and placed it in our room.

Bed uncomfortable , pillows have seen better days,I bought one to use while there, shower is slippery, tv was terrible, wall in the room damaged by ?water infiltration,electric outlets are under a desk, making it difficult to charge phone etc, there is a sewage smell in the bathroom. Noise!!! Staff was very nice though.

Did not like that check-in was on 2nd floor. Did not like that windows on 4th floor did not have screen and room AC wasn't that good to keep the room at an amenable temperature.

The Don Paco is a ideally placed for access to the Port and to the center of Mindelo. While the hotel is no frills, the staff are very friendly and efficient and the food was consistently very good. Also the Owner is on site most evenings and is accessible.The only down side was the late evening noise from outside the hotel

Comfortable and clean hotel close to the centre of Mindelo and a short walk to the ferry for Santo Antao. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Hotel was in a great location and in good condition. Breakfast was ok. Service always great in the morning, slow in the afternoon. We enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is in a perfect location if you don't have transportation. We walked everywhere in town for dinner, supermarket, the ferry, laundomat, fish market, etc. The hotel was not able to do our laundry (I think there was a problem with their washer), so when we were out walking around the town, we found a laundromat. The man working there was so nice. Two hours later, we had clean clothes for about $5.00.The included breakfast was fine for us because we don't normally eat a large, hot meal in the morning.We had booked a suite, so our room could not have been nicer.

Hotel is in a great location being just around the corner from the harbor and a very short walk to the marina and pool area. And just across the street from the hotel is a post office and a bank. This is an urban hotel that makes maximum use of space. The daily brunch was more than sufficient to provide for every palate and the service was always friendly and yet very professional.
