The Hotel had been renovated a couple of weeks ago, so everything is OK in the room and all the staff is abdolutely adorable and available. A 6th star should be awarded to the whokr team. Thanks to Sakoa Constance Hôtel for our Stay.
The hôtel also have a private beach and couple of free activities like Paddle, water ski.

The hotel was lovely & staff were very friendly. The position on the beach is great! The breakfast was good, although we didn't realise until our third morning that pancakes, omlettes & bacon was available in addition to the continental breakfast. This should have been advertised.
We had ants in our room which was disappointing & I would have liked some of the complementary toiletries to be refreshed but other than that it was a lovely stay!

The hotel is very small but nice and private. The good: quiet, romantic and nice food. People are extremely nice. The bad our room was facing a road not very idyllic and noisy. Ask for a room as far away from the road. There are many boats in front of the hotel not very nice for swimming. The pool very small but nice. The rooms are big and have a nice terrace but the bathroom has the toilet inside the shower very uncomfortable as your feet get wet every time you would likeTo go. Also the shower has a timber deck that smells and it has mould. Need for upgrade!

Last year we spent a lot of time with trying to find the best location on Mauritius, and I'm sure we found it. Trou aux Biches has the best beach around the island. The ocean was clean, hot and not too crispy. The beach wasn't crowded, especially in our area. Our room was clean and comfortable, we had enough space for our things, the terrace was cosy. I would like to highlight the staff, they were really helpful and friendly, especially Curby at the reception. We spent five days in the hotel, and on the other five days we tried to discover the island. We booked two trips at the boathouse of Trou aux Biches. It's worth to mention that there is a one hour long free snorkelling program for the guests of Le Sakoa. The only thing I would suggest to the hotel is the update or complete renovation of it's website. The hotel deserves it .

Lovely hotel on the beach, separate thatched units with a kitchen included. Free glass bottomed boat twice a day with reef snorkelling, free kayaks. Close to restaurants and supermarket.

6th time on the island. Stayed at at least 15 places on every coast and inland. Le Sakao is my favorite-- why? 15 rooms/private/tasteful/not over the top/great landscaping/uber comfortable/super beach/terrific staff, excellent wifi-even on soft sand beach. Room has little patio and larger kitchenette. A/C is good- ask to redirect vents, if necessary. Good food, lots of freebies, inc water skiing (if you already know how; minor charge, if not) and an afternoon "pancake" (Crepe) station. Categorically best location on Troux Aux Biches, which has wonderful walking, snorkelling, water sports, resting. Flattest, widest, quiet. Super convenient. Short walk to a couple of restaurants if you go half board or want to go off property

A lovely, small hotel with its own section of beautiful beach. A supermarket and restaurants are all nearby, which suited us as travellers who like to explore the area we visit. The staff were wonderful - always available to help answer any questions or attend to requests.

Room was big especially when I was upgraded to sea view room.
Hotel swimming pool is not in ideal location facing bar and restaurant, no privacy to swim.
Sun loungers could do with cushion like the hotel next to it.
Not much going on in the area especially at night apart from beautiful and quiet beach, inclusive water activities, glass bottom boat trip to see corals ad sea life. Overall experience of staying at La Sakoa was good but no vow factor

Beautiful boutique hotel on private beach, lovely staff and very nice food. It feels like an oasis when you walk in from the road into a peaceful spot. Lovely white stretch of beach, and sun loungers available for use all day long. Kids did watersports like SUPing, kayaking, and water skiing and also snorkelling, couldnt stay out of the water. The sun sets on this beach are breathtaking too. Very nice if you want to stay in a quiet hotel away from organised activity-type hotels. On Fridays and Saturdays, they have an acoustic musician to perform which is very nice in the evenings, but other than that, they leave you space to yourself.

The location of Trou Aux Biches is one of the best in Mauritius as we found out after driving around for 2 days during our stay. However, at Le Sakoa, on arrival the front office staff were not helpful regarding a number of issues that had been emailed months before the trip. We also had problems with our shower and hair dryer. On the 2nd day of our stay, the Manager came to see us and was most understanding, thereafter the service improved and staff attitude good. The Manager was happy for the feedback and took action. So overall we were very happy with our stay.

Le Sakoa is brilliantly located for the beach with (as far as I could tell) all of the rooms being within about 30 seconds walk. There aren't many rooms, so although small, the hotel (or beach) never felt over-crowded. There wasn't a huge amount of variety for breakfast, but the waiters came round each day and asked if we would like the chef to cook anything which was always nice. We were there for a week and on a couple of occasions there was a set menu for dinner which we weren’t necessarily keen on, so we used it as an opportunity to explore the restaurants of the surrounding area. We walked to the restaurants nearby (about 5-10 minutes) and although the roads were quite poorly lit, we never felt unsafe. I’d also like to highlight that we arrived early on our first day having had an overnight flight and although we weren’t due to check in for a few hours, the receptionist invited us to have breakfast which was very kind and gave us access to a shower and changing facilities. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing break.

Ourinitial booking was for 5 says we enjoyed the room and extended our stay for another 3 days but dmhad to change room as we were told our room was already booked. So we moved bit horrible The balcony had pigeon poo and horrible smell. Told staff who were unable to helpThe room was leaking and we had to change room at midnight. The second room was leaking as well and water was pouring on electric sockets making us move again. Finally when we settled the room has a dampt smell this was cause due to the annex being leaking and causing the plaster to be wet and smelly. All we got was sorry and a massive bill for the days we extended but didnt enjoy at all which put a bad taste to our family holiday. Staff were nice though but management should have done better bearing in mind we had to wait for hours for management to move us at midnight with room full of water and risk of electrocution

This is a smaller place that suited us perfectly. We wanted a get away from the hustle and bustle of our normal lives and be able to just relax. But we also had the opportunity to get out and explore easily. The hotel set up a couple excursions for us and I had nothing to worry about. As a project manager by trade I tried to insert myself in and continue to ensure all was taken care of and it was. I could just relax.
This place may not be for everyone, as it is smaller and does not have all the amenities of larger hotels but it was perfect for what I wanted and needed.

Having travelled around Mauritius over four weeks Aug/Sep Le Sakoa was by far the best place we stayed. This is not the least expensive hotel, but not the most expensive either. Right on the stunning sandy Trou aux Biches beach is quite hard to find without paying a fortune. Ask for No 13 or 14 (above 13) or 15. We were in No 13 which was ground floor and one back from 15, but in some ways a nicer view as you can also see the pool as well as the beach. The bed is 6ft wide quite hard, but comfortable. large room.Walk in shower (with hand held too ladies) Well equipped kitchen with fridge and all important freezer for your ice! Ate from a la carte one night, not huge choice, but a very nice steak. Breakfast was very good, continental, choice of cooked, pancakes. The were absolutely lovely. The maids were always smiling. We like to sleep with two separate covers so the maid noticed this and replaced the huge quilt and sheet we had been improvising with, and made the bed up with two single quilts instead! Could not connect to wifi on first day had to be quite insistent that it was looked into. From then on very good even in the room. Cant fault this little gem of a hotel and have NEVER written such a long review! Thank you we shall be back!
