This hotel had beem recommend to us and it did not disappoint. The room (crows nest) was superb, the facilities were spot on and the menu was excellent (festive theme) great value and food was mega tasty. Cant fault our stay at all

Fantastic restaurant and food staff very professional

It's really good. It is a bit pricey, but that's how things are these days, I guess. All staff were friendly and professional, food was really good, good beer too, and all was immacculately clean. This is highly recommended by us

Lovely B&B the room was great - food amazing - staff super friendly

The:- Hotel; ; Outside view very good; internally clean & tidy; all surfaces clean to touch; carpets in good condition. The food & drink were all excellent. Service from staff was exemplary! We had booked & paid well in advance. Our assigned Room was "Crows Nest"! which turned out to be at the very top of the hotel up a narrow, steep, winding staircase to an attic with a very good en-suite, but otherwise a boys room with a collection of miscellaneous boxes serving as storage/tables and odd bits of ephemera scattered about. Who thought placing 2 80 year olds in such Room carrying their own luggage was a good idea?

Lovely comfortable friendly place to stay. All the team were happy to help. Temple Spa in the bathrooms which is a nice touch with the spa smells.

The room was nice and staff but the breakfast was terrible. I found a hair in my food. I also requested brown toast and was given white, then told the white toast was brown it just looked white.. The service at breakfast ruined my entire stay.. will not be returning.

Very helpful staff. Our first room was rather small with a very hard bed, but they changed it to a bigger room for our last night. Some of the boutique rooms have very quirky furniture! The staff were great, and the breakfasts were brilliant. Would stay again - but choose the room carefully.

Uniquely styled room. Huge walk in shower. Comfortable mattress on bed. Good room facilities.

The only thing we didn’t like was the bed wasn’t comfortable enough

Great place to stay. We stayed in the Crows Nest which is a fantastic room. Would highly recommend a stay here

Stayed for one night to attend a local wedding.
Lovely place, friendly service and good traditional English breakfast.
Improvement suggestions:
Our room had no hairdryer.
Xmas lights flashing outside our window all night were a minor distraction. Good to switch them off overnight.
Some fixtures such as bedknobs were loose
Toilet seat doesn't stay up without having to hold it.
Hopefully some constructive comments as this really is a lovely place

A fabulous night away. We were given a warm welcome when we arrived and enjoyed drinks and food once we had checked in. The team were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We will definatley be returning for Sunday lunch, as we only had a selection of starters as we were dining elsewhere that evening. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bed was really comfortable and we have a very quiet nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We wish we had booked for more than one night! We will be back!

Really enjoyed our stay, very quiet only 7 rooms. We were attending a wedding at Tithe Barn and the hotel was 10 mins away in a taxi. Very friendly staff and can highly recommend

Staff was lovely and very friendly, the room looked clean and well organized but the bathroom smelled absolutely disgusting, and made loud noises whenever you used the toilet or sink. Great location and parking but our bathroom in particular did not meet the mark

The room was quite cold on arrival late at night after a wedding but the radiators could be turned on. Breakfast was good. Very helpful online advice prior to our stay advising on reliable taxis, care of our luggage and willing to perform multiple check ins by one person who were given keys to all rooms.

We were in the area for a wedding so stayed two nights. The staff was friendly, the room comfortable and clean, and breakfast was great. The only thing I would advise some travellers is that as the rooms are above the pub, be prepared for the background noise until about 11:30pm on weekends - this was not an issue for us at all, but might be useful info for some travellers planning on having an early night.

Hotel in general was very nice, the bed was far to hard for our comfort which was the only criticism. It is the only reason we wouldn't go back.

Great location. Quirky Room. Nice toiletries. Lots of steps to room. Bed extremely firm. Breakfast ok when it arrives. Take care to order continental items such as toast and pastries (as well as any cooked items) and allow plenty of time.

Lovely place to stay and eat. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was excellent- we had evening meal and breakfast and both were delicious and well cooked. Our room was clean and well appointed, if I was being really picky the shower was a bit feeble. We would definitely stay again.

Disappointed that they had stopped serving food.
Room was very good although would have preferred bath in bathroom not bedroom.
Our bed was not made on 2 out of 3 days.
Would have liked fruit for breakfast
Staff very good and friendly

The room was immaculately clean and well presented. The bathtub is huge! Definitely big enough for two. No noise from the pub downstairs. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. Great value for money, we will be back.

Lovely clean room with comfy bed. Not enough bathroom accessories for our choice, or bath robes would be nice. Will be perfect for functions or holiday stop overs when it is re opened. Would have been nice to be informed of closed bar or no food or discount for not informing us. Fortunately there was a lovely restaurant down the road afew miles. Staff were very friendly though

Lovely room and amazing bed. Pub downstairs served great beer and staff were happy to help. Breakfast was OK but a little slow and bacon over cooked for our liking. Nice play to stay with a few pubs and not far from skipton. Would definitely stay here again.
