I liked they stay, clean and nice staff

The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The bartender and a kitchen cook were very helpful with two requests. But if I had to stay more than one night, I would skip the hotel because it does not appear to offer daily maid service, according to the signs in the room.

Nice place to stay when visiting the Stony Brook University campus.

The breakfast and happy hour are fantastic! The rooms and hallways could use upgrading. Keep an eye on the cleanliness as well.

It was a very noisy place to stay. People knocking at my room and running. Prank calls then hanging up. The room next door was loud at 3am in the morning. Called to front desk and they did nothing for us.

This is the only one around the area and I thought Hilton should be a name brand that they will keep up to.The front desk I met when I checked in, I know her name, is ridiculous and even racist! Be aware and try to avoid it!

Right on the Stony Brook campus. Very clean and with lots of amenities. I have tried the brand before and was happy.

The made to order breakfast was the best!

This hotel does not allow toddler air mattresses. Our toddler still falls out of beds. We brought a JetKids Stokke toddler air mattress knowing the hotel did not provide bed rails and she was too heavy for a pack n play. There was nothing that indicated this was not allowed when we made the reservation. The woman at the front desk was relentless and rude (in front of the manager) when telling us to remove the mattress. The manager actually looked at her for an answer when I asked him for a solution. I was completely willing to remove the mattress, but was questioning the logic of allowing rollaway beds and pack n plays while our toddler mattress was a fire hazard, the woman threatened to call the police on us when I was completely civil and was just asking about the policy. They provided no other solution to keep my toddler safe, just yelled at us to remove the air mattress or they were going to call the police. I’ve been to many hotels with the mattress, it’s never been a problem and was shocked at the way the woman treated us. She also refused to add my Hilton honors to the hotel, was nasty on the phone when our wifi didn’t work, and rudely questioned me when I asked why half of our channels didn’t work. I had four people in our room, we were only given three towels. We could not wait to leave as we felt completely harassed and uncomfortable during our stay. If you have kids - DO NOT STAY HERE.

I did not like the room. It had a horrible order.

The staff was friendly and very welcoming. The bar and restaurant were inviting and the options were numerous. I suppose the only downside was that the location was a bit off of the highway because it’s on campus but that’s really the only negative I can think of.

Much time talk was very cool and quiet. The staff was exceptional. I would recommend the help to anybody.

Beautiful location in quiet area by University. Great walking trail along woods. Staff friendly. Great snacks available for purchase. Sheets on bed were a bit scratchy.

I thought the rooms were very clean. The Cafe in the hotel was clean and well organized and priced well.

the sink and bathtube did not drain very well.

The food at this hotel is one of the best I’ve had at a Hilton. On the other hand, the sleeping pillows are horrible and offer no support whatsoever.
