A beautiful hotel in a stunning village. Excellent staff and glorious valley views from the balcony. We will definitely return.
(There is a footpath alongside the hotel which goes straight down into village, no need to walk the long and winding road.)

Lovely hotel just out of town but they shuttle you in and out (and to the slopes) - 5 min drive max. And I walked into town this evening - 15 mins downhill.
But the best thing were the staff - absolutely lovely. Big mention to Louise who was helpful and delightful. Thank you to everyone working at Mamie Megeve.
Highly recommend.

The staff were friendly and polite although not overly helpful. The walk to the ski bus is as described at around 10 mins but it is up a very steep hill so difficult in the snow with equipment. The walk into Megeve centre is also as described as approx 20 mins but not ideal in the dark, taxis are available but at a cost €30 for a 10 mins. The apartments were clean and tidy but not equiped well for cooking, saying all of that good accommodation in a beautiful village

Location has no amenities and need a car to hit Megeve. Walk up steep hill to get Ski bus or 10 minute walk to Mont Arbois Ski Area. Ski area is amazing and Megeve center is beautiful. The Apartment was awful, smelt of sewage and guests have to clean the apartment before they leave. We complained about smell but nothing done. We also advise you pre-book restaurants and ski lessons in advance.

Nice room for two person, but we had to rearrange furnitures, because it was impossible to go out to the balcony. We could not open the door from the bed.

Horrible. Arrived. No reception. We had kids. It was cold, needed a bathroom. Nothing of this sort. Tried calling, answering machine. Left, stayed at another hotel. Didnt get any refund. Its fine. Never again

You need a car to go to the slops at mt Arbois. There is a very steep pathway from the hotel to go by foot but very risky especially when carrying skis. The room is really tiny and the double sofa bed needs to be replaced. Also a problem with parking in front of the hotel for loading/unloading your bags due to a small space available and many cars allowed to park there.Overall ok but for the price we paid I was expecting better quality beds and a bit more spacious room.

Good but basic , a bit out of the way for village, I enjoyed the path up and down but not good if you are not fit!

The hotel has a fantastic view and the staff is very friendly and nice. We stayed one night only but wished we could stay longer. We will stay there certainly next time when we visit Charmonix area again.

Very good front desk service. Maid service almost non existent. Far from public transport so car is needed

Really good place with plenty of room within our family room. Kitchen was tight for space, and no laundry but you cant have wverything

We were not able to stay - child sick at the last minute and we had to cancel our stay. Our experience though was very good. We called the hotel and the receptionist was most helpful, explained our options, the latest we could come in and was very kind.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Odalys. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Service lacked a bit - we could not use the sauna and jacuzzi - either they were booked or the staff did not have time to set them up. We ordered breakfast for our entire trip, but the one day we didnt remind them the night before, there was no breakfast in the morning. However, overall very good value for money. It really helped that we had a car, as you have to climb up a small snowy slope to get to the free shuttle - this would have been impossible holding skis (so definitely leave your skis at the rental place if you dont have a car).

When we arrived, we were quite disappointed to find out the apartments were completely self catering as this was not outlined on the booking page online. However, the rooms were very clean, spacious and comfy with modern furnishings and stunning views over the mountains, and our beds were made every day. There was also plenty of cupboard room etc and the bathroom was great with plenty of hot water every day. There is a breakfast room though where you can have coffee and croissants in the morning but no bar. The location however was not great. The hotel is located on the top of a steep windy hill so you do require a car to get anywhere, as there are no local shops or restaurants so you have to trek into town to get to the shops or ski area. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill which you can walk to, but its pretty dangerous when you are carrying skis etc as we found out when we fell over a number of times trying to walk down the hill ! If the hotel was in a better location I would go back but I dont think I will just because of the location.
