We had a spectacular time at the hotel and in the area! Breakfast was first rate, the room was clean and spacious, and the walking trail across the street was a gem. We came for Blaze and the hiking and both were amazing!

It was such a great location to town and Bear mountain. The hotel is across the street from riverfront park. Great area to walk and view nature. Which was my goal for the weekend. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were so accommodating. The complimentary breakfast had lots of different options no matter your preference Highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived very late after a long day on the road and numerous lengthy delays. The lovely lady at reception welcomed us with a smile. I loved my room. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The a/c made minimal noise. The noise from the nearby train line was much quieter than expected. Wi-fi worked well. The breakfast choices were plentiful and abundant. The area was clean, bright and welcoming. Parking spaces were sufficient. Unfortunately I was only staying for 1 night, I would have liked to explore the area more.

In Peekskill to hike near Bear Mountain, and looking for a reasonable, nice hotel. The hotel was very good - clean, and the staff was very friendly. The food in the breakfast area was more than adequate.
Hotel prices are higher than they used to be but what are you going do when you need to stay in a certain area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Had some great food and cocktails at The Central restaurant downtown near the train station. It was a bit of a wait, but we were not in a hurry. There’s a nice bar called Apropos at the Abbey spa up on the mountain where you can get the fine dining menu in a more relaxed atmosphere. Try the tuna tartare. Yum. We also walked 15 minutes to the Westchester diner which had an excellent breakfast and coffee. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

Most of Staff is very nice and professional besides Operational Manager was very rude and def no customer skills.
Guests set off the fire alarm and we had to evacuate at 11pm with little kids .. operational manager was not even aware of this incident and was very very abrasive when we asked for one hour of late check out .
We never expected this kind of rudeness from the manager …

Nice hotel convenient for when I visit the area.
Be VERY careful on Rt 9 near the hotel. The cops run speed traps all the time and you will get an expensive ticket. The speed drps from 55 to 45 for a very short distance !

Unfortunately our second night our neighbors were so loud and kept two of us up until 3 in the morning. I didn't want to cause issues as our daughter was sleeping and didn't want to wake her up. The third night the same thing happened but I called the front desk. It quieted down enough to fall asleep. The hotel was great, but the neighbors were not.

Extremely clean room and very detail oriented. A small fridge, coffee machine and a microwave. The shower pressure was phenomenal and enough towels, even if 3 people share the room. I will definitely stay there again, next time I am in town.

Overall my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Peekskill, NY
was very pleasant. Front desk staff was friendly and check-in was quick. The room was nicely decorated and bathroom looked newly renovated. The bed was very comfortable and room was quiet all night. I found the lights dim and inadequate, with all lights on room seemed dark.
The breakfast is below standard for similar hotels but appreciated hot coffee/tea all day.
