Really cool spot on the beach! The rooms were clean and comfortable. There’s lots of spaces outside to sit and hang out and watch the sunset. I didn’t have time to take them up on it but they also offered free kayak rentals.

Needs urgent refurbushing. The window mosquito nets were detached and hot water did not work properly.

Stopped for an overnight stay on our road trip. It was nothing fancy but had great friendly staff and a beautiful beach and pier area. It was also close to a number of restaurants which was nice.

Super cute cottages on the water, excellent value, friendly front office, fridge , micro and coffee maker in the room, free kayaks and a launch on the property. Quiet, nice grounds, close to dining, bars. Will definitely stay again!

If your looking for a modern, fancy , up graded hotel, this is not for you. What I loved is that it is an old school tropical hotel with a real boho island feel right on the water. Although we didnt have time they provide free kayaks to use. I will definitely stay there again.

The staff were accommodating and personable during our stay. The beach area is a little small but did not detract from the experience. Definitely choose to book a suite; being able to cook with the amazing ingredients of the Keys will only enhance your experience.

It was pretty much as advertised
Nothing special but good

This property has a variety of dated cottages. Most are over 30 years old. Very basic lodging. Plenty of fresh paint, but everything is very dated. On the plus side, the gulf of Mexico is steps away. Complementary kayaks. It is a way to stay in the keys without spending $400 per night or more.

We had a great 3 nights here. The sea was so warm, the beach and deck area beautiful and not crowded at all. Sensational sunset and great for fishing. Services was spot room very clean.
Room was a little small for 4 people but was fine for a short stay. The air con was also a little noisy but we are heavy sleepers so no issue.

This location and room did their job for my stay. The room was fairly tight with minimal amenities (no enclosed closet - so wet items will hang over you in bed) but I was not in the room other than sleeping/showering so it worked just fine.
You could reach the bed from the room's front door which was a little uncomfortable and there were 2 steps leading from the room space up to the bathroom. If you're not careful you could stub a toe or trip in/out of the bathroom in the dark.
There was a small patio hallway leading into the room but not enough space to really sit and enjoy. There was no view - my room was the first building next to the road.
I could see how parking could be challenging if the hotel is full as well, there are dedicated spots around the cottages but they are also used for boat trailers. Driving along if you're not paying attention to your GPS you could drive right by the hotel sign, it's set a little further back from the road but as soon as you see the Auto Parts store, be ready to turn!
The Beach space is small but convenient, I didn't utilize the complimentary kayaks but other guests seemed to enjoy their time on them! I just wish there was an attendant closer to the beach - you have to show your ID at the main office to get a paddle/confirm your kayak.
There are a couple restaurants and convenience stores/pharmacies within walking distance which is really nice - you don't have to jump in your car for everything unless you're traveling further.

Its was a nice stay. Check-in was smooth and easy and the employees were all nice and helpful. The grounds are nice with a decent beach area and docks. The room was clean with updated flooring. The furniture was a bit old but we didn't mind that. Overall I would have to say I would definitely stay there again.

This is a great place to go for an authentic florida keys experience. With many restaurants within walking distance, and the private beach, there is no need to get in the car! All the staff were exceptionally friendly.

The lighting at night was way too bright! It’s like walking in a show room stepping outside. Losses that calm relaxed feeling when hanging outside at the table and chairs outside your door. Someone that works there said that’s the number one complaint. Mood lighting

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. parking was right outside our door and the beach was literally one minute walking distance from our room.

Overalll great stay. Loved the property, as there was a beautiful quiet private beach and free use of kayaks. Rooms were VERY small, so be aware before you go. We personally didn't mind tho. Walkable to other restarants and stores, but on a busy street. Central location to other key locations. Staff was very friendly!
