Great location. Cozy room with enough space for us and our portable crib. Unique idea of the rail cars as room. Would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to great restaurants. If you are a light sleeper you might hear the hot air balloons being filled and lifted at around 530-6 am. Very cool to look at though!

Trying to fly hot air balloon ran in the back of the property made it very noisy at 4:30 in the morning, which is ridiculous

Very well placed quaint hotel in the heart of Yountville. The train car rooms are authentic and cosy. We saw hot air balloons being filled and flown away early in the morning from the carpark near the hotel!

This property is an excellent choice within walking distance of everything in Yountville, which is an Adult Disneyland of Eating and Drinking Options. It is amazingly quiet and the room is set-up very nicely for a couple to stay.

The room was definitely a pleasant surprise for my sister and I who were only there for one night. The room was very large because each room is a whole train car. The skylights kept the rooms nice and light. It is also right next door to Mini Model so having the yummy sausage breakfast sandwich so close by was a bonus!

The WiFi did not work. You would connect and it would drop. You could not stay connected. One of my traveling companions had some emergency work stuff come up on our trip and he couldn’t work from here. The owners response was “I’ve never had that complaint in 25 years”. My response is , this is 2023 where people expect a usable WiFi. Maybe the problem is she has a 1998 WiFi? Nevertheless, upgrade your WiFi and when a customer has an isssue the proper answer is “let me call my WiFi provider or my it guy”. The answer should not be that it works for everyone else so it must be you. The response was not what you expect when you are in one of the most luxiourious towns ever. It was bad customer service.

We stay at the Inn every time we come to Napa. We love it! We walk to our favorite restaurants, the lodging is unique, very comfortable, very clean and very quiet. It’s really the best deal in town.

We stayed one night in downtown Yountville and was super convenient to the restaurants/bakeries we had planned. There's a little Model bakery at the end of the railway so super convenient to grab and go.

This is a gem of a find in Yountville! The hotel is incredibly charming, and the location cannot be beat. We walked to meals and around the beautiful little town right from our room. Unfortunately we were there on a Wednesday when the breakfast cafe in the last railway car was closed, but that’s just incentive to come back another time to try it out! This will definitely be a repeat stay property for us.

A very unique experience. We loved our "railway car" and you can't beat the location. Plus, the coffee and breakfast place opens at 6:30am and is literally at the end of the hallway - so convenient for us early risers. I would recommend this inn to everyone especially if you compare the rates with other hotels in Yountville.

Perfect location, walking distance to great restaurants, tasting rooms and stores but the best was the railroad car accommodations and the covered outdoor area for sitting. Highly recommend the Railroad Inn!
