My wife and I have been to Milwaukee for personal trips six times, and I have been there for business one time. I love the city, its history, the fact that they don't destroy their old buildings, and how drivable it is. I will be coming back to Milwaukee again in the future, but I will not be staying at The Brewhouse Inn ever again, unfortunately. I do not write bad reviews as a principal, but I felt honesty was needed in this case.
Pros
-The front desk greeted us at the front desk and even poured us some PBR at check-in.
-The lobby and surrounding public areas are beautiful.
-The coffee in the lobby is delicious, both regular and decaf. The complimentary pastries are also a nice touch.
-The attached restaurant offers good food and service.
Cons
-PARKING. Unless you do the $40 valet, the parking situation is absolutely abysmal, much like the rest of Milwaukee, but it should not be this bad at a hotel. We had to park three blocks away at one point. There are two-hour limits during the week, which is just awful. There is even a parking lot between the buildings that was completely empty during our stay.
-Our room was above the restaurant, which played music until at least midnight every night. We couldn't relax in our room and had to sleep with earplugs.
-The fitness room is just a cardio room.
Alternative Recommendations
-Fairfield Inn Downtown (amazing parking)
-Pfister (older but good)
-Hilton Garden
-Hyatt Regency

One of our favorite places to stay as a couole when we have events in Milwaukee
4.6
Really enjoyed the extra large room. The extra room makes each person feel like they’re not in the other person’s space. Enjoyed having a bar and restaurant attached.
4.6
Beautiful building. Nicely restored. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. They made our stay a true pleasure.

We went to Milwaukee for a fun long weekend away. Brewhouse Inn did not disappoint. It was so quiet, I never heard anyone in the hall or from the rooms around me. Such a clean room with a view of the front. Good breakfast in the lobby and pub. Everyone was so welcoming and nice and helpful since it was our first visit to Milwaukee. We already have plans to visit again.

Absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is amazing and the history behind the building is incredible.
4.6
Very clean, convenient.
Lighting could be improved with LED installs especially if other rooms are as wide as ours
4.6
Comfortable and interesting hotel in an old brewery. Very friendly and helpful staff.
4.6
We enjoyed the hotel but they put us in a room right over the bar and the music went on until 2 am. They did move us for the 2nd night.
Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 2 reasons- the History of this being Pabst original Brewery made Hotel & and free shuttle to/ from American Family Field for Brewers game. Lovely Hotel and So Fun!! Thank you to the man who preserved history !

Just checked in and walked into a dirty room. Debris of some sort all over the bed. Sticky handles in the kitchen. Visible smears/food/grease on cabinrt doors. Dried pee/puke on toilet seat. Dirty shower. Overall just a really uncomfortable stay. Called to the desk to mention room was dirty. Had to call again before someone finally showed up. Asked for a clean room. Was given a new sheet for bed. Thats all. Wont be staying again. If room had a deep deep clean....would be cute.

The hotel staff, including the bartenders at the restaurant and bar next door were friendly, accommodating and professional. The rooms kitchenette made our stay comfortable by allowing us to bring restaurant leftovers home. It was also nice to be off the main tourist strips, so it was quiet.
4.6
The Brewhouse was beautiful, we were greeted by Percy and Eddie at the front desk took great care of us.
Our room was spacious and comfortable.
The attached restaurant offered a taste of Milwaukee and a great selection of beer.
This was our first trip to the Brewhouse - but we will be back!

Not enough linens or pillow. Unsafe neighborhood
4.6
One of the most unique hotels we have ever visited. The entire staff was friendly and helpful especially the front desk.
4.6
The staff was terrific—very helpful and welcoming. Honestly, we could not have asked for a better experience. The property's renovation from the Pabst Brewing Company to the Brewhouse Inn is exceptional. The before-and-after photos are mind-blowing. It is a very nice place to stay during your visit to Milwaukee.

Nice place

Was unique staying in a old pub turned into a hotel. Kinda far from stuff be its cheap to uber and walking to places are not that bad in Milwaukee. The shuttle to the brewers game was great
4.6
I loved it and will definitely be back!
4.6
We had 3 rooms in our party and neither of the rooms were not cleaned.
4.6
Unique space converted from historic brewery and was a good stay. A few good options to enjoy in the area for drinks and dining but was a bit out of the way for the rest of downtown Milwaukee's options.
4.6
Beautiful place and lots to see.
4.6
Beautiful place with a rustic, brewery charm. We will return!
4.6
Unique and spacious. The property is comfortable and nicely renovated to preserve the heart of the old brewery.
Parking is a bit inconvenient as valet parking is $40/day (not $35 as shown on Expedia), and the staff won't tell you about the secure parking garage just a 2 minute walk from the hotel.
4.6
Hotel was very clean and the check in process was smooth and they were able to accommodate an early check in.
The reason I only gave 3/5 stars was because everything says there is a continental breakfast on Sunday, but turns out, their definition of continental breakfast is a plastic bin with some store bought pastries and coffee.
Additionally, the hotel charges for toothpaste! Thats kind of crazy.
4.6
Staff was super personable and awesome. We'll be staying here every time we come to MKE now. Absolutely LOVE this place!!! The restaurant was 10/10 too!

average to above average

Way too expensive for the accommodations. Breakfast was very minimal. Coffee was weak and cold. Staff were friendly, but really didn’t know much about the area.
4.6
Beautiful, unique property and very clean. Highly recommend.

We went for an overnight for 4th of July. Rooms are spacious and well equipped but the bed is incredibly firm. The restaurant was fun and the mystery bucket of beer was great.
4.6
Great historical old brew house with massive copper brewing kettles on second floor. Very clean. Excellent AC. Very roomy and techno appointed and decorated. Absolutely a great place and would stay again. Tao House next door excellent for and selection of beers. Only suggestion would be to add more selections to breakfast buffet. Big Thumbs Up!!!

They did a wonderful job on the remodel. Very nice hotel
4.6
So glad the brewery buildings were saved and the history is shared with everyone. The remodel was done so well. I loved how old pipes were used in the rooms and in other areas. Really nice rooms.
4.6
Amazing place to stay,. Check in was great, room was very comfortable.
4.6
Shuttle to baseball game from adjoining restaurant was convenient.
The room cleanliness was poor.
The breakfast choices were minimal.
4.6
Beautiful building the only minor complaint I have is the complimentary breakfast was limited and not that good.
4.6
The room was fantastic, a lot of space, walked a few blocks to several restaurants.

I reserved hotel for my fiancé and his son for Father’s Day. They had a great time. Stadium close by, bar and grocery store very convenient.
