Good location, 10 mIn walk to historic centre of Rouen with car parking available for a modest 8 euros. A simple basic hotel and staff helpfully moved us from a room next to the lift to a quieter location.
Would use again.

2 star hotel centrally located with parking. A few blovks from all the action, cathedrals, dining. Stay here because of parking. Not a luxury hotel, but very convenient for one night. Continental breakfast for extra 9.50 eu was sufficient and had okay options and specialty coffee machine. I will definitely stay ahain if I have a car.

Good enough on a tight budget, but rather run down. Great walking location to absolutely everything in Rouen.

This hotel smelled like an ashtray even though there were no smoking signs everywhere. And I was charged for parking even though there was nothing on Expedia. Do not book a room here!!

As we expected, the Brit Hotel was a basic hotel at a basic price, with small rooms, but it provided all we needed for a short stay (we stayed at the start and end of our journey). It’s a short walk into the city centre and just off the motorway - all very convenient. The breakfast was very good. There were vending machines for snacks and drinks, although the hotel did provide a food service for a very reasonable price - we tried this on our first night and had a pizza and a hot meat dish in a glass pot plus deserts in screw top jars which were local products and, I assume, in recyclable containers.

Great place for an overnight stay to break up a long journey. Room was spotless. Would have preferred a kettle in the room but there was a drinks machine in reception.

basic small hotel, unfortunately no evening meals, but some very good places to eat close by, advised by staff where to go..

If this hotel was a Brit Comfort, I wonder how a Brit Essential hotel is!
The rooms were really essential: bed a very little closet and a very small table with a chair. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean enough. The bathroom is very small, the shower was supposed to be a rain and hand shower, combo but the rain shower was missing, ad the shower faucet was broken (to open the shower we had to turn a kind of spring)...
Breakfast costs 8 euro per person, but it is not worth it. Croissants are dry, fruit is old.
The location is 500 meters far from the center, close to the highway and in front of the hospital.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
Some of the guests were wired. There were some young guys, who were smoking marjuana in the rooms and the smell could be smelt all over the corridor.
In conclusion it is a budget hotel you can choose if you want to visit Rouen for few money.

Lovely hotel good value, clean and well maintained

A good clean room. Parking was good and apparently safe behind the barrier. The city centre was not far away within walking distance. This hotel is ideal for an overnight stop on the way south and gives an opportunity to explore the city. Only one drawback the hotel did not have a record of our booking. Fortunately we took a copy of the booking we made with expedia

Hotel was exactly as advertised, perfect for an overnight stay and cheaper than Ibis with free parking, only minor niggle being the size of the shower but for the price I couldn't complain
