This place was so nice and we will be staying here again!!

Fine, clean ... but needs MAJOR updating. It was October and no plans to swim but pool was gross-looking green. Best thing was location. Easy walk to Ogonquit shops and restaurants. But really, buy a can of paint and spruce the place up!

A proper old school seaside motel which was just what we wanted. Just 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and 3 minutes from the beach. Great cafes, restaurants and bars, the locals were very friendly. The Greenery cafe, almost next door does amazing breakfasts, don't be surprised to wait for a table

“Sea view” is a stretch - perhaps there is a view, but not from any place we were. The property is clean, but old. No elevator. Our room had lumpy mattresses and was clean but very tired furnishing. It does have a great spot for lunch or breakfast within easy walk. We would not stay there again.

The front desk was not staffed so left for a while before checking in. Staff member only said here is the wifi information, your parking permit, and room key (from 1970s). No information shared or offered about the area. No information about the property itself. Sheets and comforter stained. Box spring stained. Stains on tub. Nails exposed on vanity at edges.

It is getting time to change the mattresses other than that we had a nice stay

We rented the cottage. It was comfortable. Nice to have extra space and be able to cook a meal.

The property was extremely dated and badly needing an upgrade. Beds were uncomfortable, sinks to the middle, no bed skirts covering the rusty box springs.
Walls were “paper thin”. Suspended ceiling was stained. Refrigerator defrosted automatically caused water all over the floor. I loved the fake clean smell when you walked into the room. The location must be only reason they can get away with charging so much per night. We did like the location because we could walk to downtown Ogunquit as well as the beach.

It was great just that one employee was not friendly at all. She did not greet, when I asked her about a restaurant she immediately said I don’t know, I don’t eat here and brushed me off.

Good location. Very clean.

Older but clean.

Room was damp, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable and smelly. Noise from guest above kept us up the first night. Trash from previous guest’s was still in the room. No breakfast is served here and the coffee service was not reliable. The location is a slightly longer than comfortable walk to attractions. Did have daily maid service which was good. Probably wouldn’t stay again

In general, the resort was basic. There were definitely some wear and tear on a lot of the property inside the room and out. The bathrooms were definitely older and not updated. all in all if you're looking for a place to just sleep and shower and don't mind something that feels a little dingy then you'll be fine.

The location is wonderful as you’re in the hub of the tourist area. Walking distance to so much. Unfortunately our first room was not great. It smelt like mold and having an allergy to that we could not stay in the room. They were great to provide us with a new room. The area is great but we had the impression we were beach side which we are not and there is no beach view.

The front desk person was lovely and checked in with us a few times. The room however left some to be desired. The bed was not comfortable and had no skirt or anything on the bottom mattress so looked more like a dorm room. There were spider webs around the mirror area and stains on the bathroom door and the main sitting lamp was broken. On the upside the motel was a short walk to many restaurants and the waterfront.

"Sea View" was a little misleading as the view of the "sea" was far away and between some trees. The building seemed a little unstable amd wobbly. One lamp didnt work. The bed was extremely comfortable, though, so that kind made up for the other drawbacks.

We will be going back for sure!

Staffs are good and friendly. They helped us when needed. I think it’s well for one day . We don’t need anything else. I stayed one day only. Overall good.

10 min walk to town. Trolly stop outside the motel. The room had a smell. Didn't look like he had been vacuumed. A lot of little flying bugs in the bathroom coming from the bathtub. We were on the 3td floor the steps didn't seem safe. The hand rails were rotting away. Children that live there were constantly screaming and playing around the cars. No water pressure.

Great location. Nice pool area. Vinnie at the desk was super! A 20 minute walk to the best beach in America!

While we only stayed 1 night, the accommodations were fair, we came back after seeing a show and there was no parking at 11 pm at night

We wanted a clean, inexpensive place to stay in walking distance of town. This worked well for our family--easy walk to town and about .7 miles to the beach. Staff were friendly.

The staff were personable and wonderful to communicate with. The location was nice. The room was clean. We stayed for one night but would consider staying there again. They could update the rooms but they aren’t terrible.

Furniture and Technology was not to date. The railing had rotted wood and the room smelt very, very musty.
The view of the water is from the 3rd floor walkway.
The pool is advertised as heated but very cold.
No Thanks!

Arrived, no one at front desk to greet us. Finally, attendant showed up, told us room would be ready at 2:00. Not the original quote of 11:00. We told attendant that was unacceptable, we’d find a hotel that could check us in, as we had been on the road for 12 hours. Horror story of a situation. They had better not charge us

The room was subpar. The beds were broken down. The carpet looked old an worn. The furniture was painted over and scarred and chipped. There was no sea view from the Sea View Motel.
6.0 / 10.0
Property would benefit from an overall overhaul. The most basic of amenities available. The place had a worn old aesthetic. Good enough for sleeping & showering and that’s about it. SeaView???? Only in your dreams. Towel hook on the bathroom door, as well as the towel bar by the bathroom sink were literally falling off. A/C worked well. Plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable enough. Staff seemed attentive to trying to keep up with cleaning up. But would not consider staying there again.

I booked a room August 7th because we needed a place to stay for a night for our boat tour on Saturday. Unfortunately the boat tour got canceled due to weather so we asked if we could cancel the room and they said absolutely not because it had to be 10 days before the check in date. We didn’t even have a 10 day window since we booked on the 7th and check in was the 10th. They refused our refund so we had to go to the hotel for a night with nothing planned, not ideal but we said whatever since they weren’t budging. Never mind you, we’ve never had an issue canceling with any other hotel. Then when we got to the hotel, the air and everything in the room felt humid and damp, and I noticed the bedding was absolutely disgusting and discolored. The mattress had a huge piss stain in the middle. Thank god we brought our own things, but after pretty much refusing a refund to us and then giving us a disgusting bed, like be for real..I absolutely would not recommend, spend a tad more and not stay in a run down building. I was not happy, and the manager couldn’t give a crap.

This was an outdated property but clean and convenient as you could walk to the beach and downtown within 25 minutes. It needs some updating. It seemed a bit overpriced for the property even on the weekend. Our room was across from a stairway so we couldn't sit on the balcony unless we faced the door of the adjacent room which was awkward looking into their room. They did let us park early before check in so we could walk to the beach without having to park at a beach lot which was a plus but was still a 20 min walk with all of our gear. Overall OK.

The good: Convenient and close to town, plenty of parking, outdoor pool. The bad: this is a dated and worn property. Not for folks that prefer new, modern and professionally cleaned hotels.

Loved the area! The room was a little dirty. There was a soda can under the bed and the shower curtain had black all over it.

The room was awesome for our girls weekend with a full kitchen and bedroom seperate (Romantic Suite with Jacuzzi tub). Beds were good, place was clean and nicely decorated. The biggest issue was noone there to check you in or out & despite having a Ring doorbell, no one came. 20 min to get someone to check us and I just left the key. Need front desk help there consistently.
