The property is a little tired and very basic kitchen equipment provided but nice and quiet, very clean and close to the beach!

The rooms are fabulous- clean, well decorated, all the amenities you need. Location is also great, just a short walk to the beach to watch the sunsets, and a short walk to town. Only issue I had was having to check in and out at a different location - when we arrived we were told we had to go downtown to check in at the head office- I assume they have a lot of properties in town. But I would still highly recommend it

We really liked the area / Vila Nova de Milfontes, but Duna Parque is quite worn out. We liked the fact that we were able to use the facilities at the other hotels in the group... The place was not very clean... The check-in / the receptionist was very good!

The Duna Parque features apartments with kitchenettes. It was small but comfortable for our group of 4 friends. There were 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds each, one bathroom, and a small living room area with a balcony. As we only stayed one night, we did not get a chance to experience the restaurant, mini golf, or pool and sauna. The location was great!

Looked nothing like the pictures as it is quite run down now. We thought we were booking a superb new place but it’s actually an old beach resort that has seen better days. Lady at check in was so grumpy. Check in closed at 9pm too which we didn’t know. We arrived just before 9. Huge rooms. Had the two bedroom apartment. Coffee machine too. Soaps etc provided in bathroom. Extra pillows in cupboard. Pool looked nice need to wear compulsory swim caps though. Sauna there too. Great location just by beach in small town. Probably the flashest place in the town still. Need to drive or walk down the road to their sister hotel for a great value buffet dinner until 10.30pm for €12.90! Delicious. Lots of parking.

A step back in time very 70s, great location,, just not our cup of tea.
For $55 it was just that, so if you are in a budget go for it but if you can afford to pay more, then do

Staff at the hotel were not very friendly. Didnt bother speaking to customers! Gardens were tired looking, crazy golf looked like it had been trashed. Pool and surrounding area were nice, rooms were cheerfully decorated, but annoying that we had ants in our room. We were able to get a spray to sort the problem

Good stopover, kitchenette well equipped, opportunity for activities, close to dunes or short walk to safer but crowded river beach.

Proximity to the beach, together with a nice enclosed garden and pool were the highlights of our stay.

We were given a large apartment with a separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed and small balcony, real kitchen, second bedroom with bunk beds, living room with trundle bed/ couch, TV and DVR and fireplace, a balcony overlooking the pool with a hammock, and a large bathroom with bidet and jacuzzi. Really comfortable and relaxing for a very reasonable price. We had a very good breakfast both days and ate in the restaurant the first night. The house specialty is octopus served three different ways. Our waitress urged us to have the octopus Portuguese style and it was wonderful. Everyone on the front desk was helpful and informative. The hotel is surrounded by colorful sand dunes and it is just a short walk to a crescent shaped beach with amazingly striped and patterned smooth rocks. From that beach it is just another short walk to a large beach on the river. We liked Duna Parque so much that we plan to spend a week there when we come back to Portugal in 2017..

For a very modest price, we had a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath apartment with a kitchen and private decks off each of the three floors. Plus hotel is just steps to the dunes and beach, and has Indoor and outdoor pools. What a deal!

Had a good trip here but it was very noisy at night and we needed earplugs.

We had high expectations but were ultimately unfulfilled. Hot water didn't work well. Sliding door was broken. Shower stall was too small. Television had one English language channel. Water was shut off for about 12 hours, so no toilet during that time. No free breakfast was offered, not even a continental breakfast. Pool was always full of kids, and it is too small for such a big hotel. And yet we paid about 200 per night. So I'd have to say it was a ripoff, and I wonder how so many people give high ratings.

Very nice hotel with good staff about a 10 minute walk from the center of town. Great pool área and well-equipped apartments. Mostly families playing tennis or using the pool and spa. You need a bathing cap for the spa.
