Very much a ‘business’ hotel. Staff very friendly and efficient but bar area lacked atmosphere and had to wait for a receptionist to serve drinks. Room was clean and comfortable.

The property location is great. The room and view were great. However, it is very hard to find the entrance. I searched for a bit lugging my suitcase and bags. Finally I got close to an area where I saw a sign that was facing the opposite direction and that is where the elevator was.

Very convenient to get to the train and bus stations. Close to a variety of stores and dining options. Got a room with a great view of the town. Kettle to boil water in the room. - No iron in the room; iron in the room is standard in every other hotel where I have stayed. - Mattress was somewhat uncomfortable. - Not enough pillows.

I felt like my room wasn’t really cleaned thoroughly. There was a long hair in the clean towel they provided and hairs in the shower. Gum sticking on the side of the bed. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the location is perfect.

Beware in winter months - no heat thermostat in the room. When we complained of being cold, we were only offered an extra blanket. It took a second complaint for them to offer a stand-alone heater. Also, the bed cover/duvet is tiny - it does not cover the full size of the bed… very strange..

Nice, tidy and relatively quiet room with excellent views with large windows (corner room) towards city. Breakfast standard continental 4stars. Good location next to the railwaystation.

Perfectly located 5 minute walk to train to / from Amsterdam! Include the breakfast in your hotel stay - well worth it compared to most hotels offering same in USA. Quiet, clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff all spoke English. Helped us to print our train tickets.

It’s a basic hotel in a small town in NL. I was bitten by an insect during the night. Next day hand got swollen and took several days of antibiotics and allergy medications to get it under control. Rather expensive and unpleasant experience.

Fantastic room, horrible mayor/burgemeester in Enschede. Horrible Twente football fans. Horrible Schalke 04 hooligans. Horrible treatment of away fans. Horrible policing. But: Some nice busdrivers and some nice bar staff.

This hotel is well situated in the city center, next to the train station. Ideal to have a walk in the evening, etc. I am using this hotel for work since 7 years, I keep using it because the rooms are fine and the view is nice. BUT: i have to be honest, it's not getting better, it's getting worse every time. There's not even a bottle of water in your room anymore, the water flow of the shower is turned down (i first thought it was a technical issue), the quality of the breakfast is getting worse: eggs are not eggs, fruit juice is chemical liquid. What a shame :(

I had booked a double room and provided with a twin, not ideal for romantic weekend away. I enguired about getting the room i booked but was told that although they try match customer reguest this is what they had avalible. This was confusing as i had booked many week in advance. There was a hazelnut on the floor and some long hairs on the bed. The bathroom was spotless, the staff were very polite and the location was absolutly ideal

Room generally ok. Nice view and also a well functioning aircondition. Breakfast could have been more variable. Too small plates for the food. An odor from the cloack could sometimes be felt when entering the room (suspect from waterdrain in shower). Otherwise hotel has a central position for transport.

What a surprise to get all this comfort in the heart of Enschede. Normally I stay with friends or family when I visit my home time overseas but decided that this time to do a change. We traveled by train to Enschede and what is better than being close to the train station downtown. Walking distance from the Oude Markt or other spots to hang around. The hotel service was great and their friendly professional staff plus they have even a bar and a restaurant. We used the restaurant for breakfast and must say this is more than the basic stuff that you get at most hotels. So my next stay back in my home time will be here again.

Love the InterCity Hotel in Enschede! Staff is great, rooms are spacious, clean and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows. Breakfast is perfect and the location can’t be beat. We’ve stayed here twice in the past year and will be back…

Reception staff was very friendlyView is very niceToilet was not cleaned, towels only changed once in 4 nights, floor dirty, fire alarm went off on our first night, everyone left the building at 6 am and we were allowed back in 20 minutes later. No explanation given. Halfway smelled like sewage.
