Generally good but barking dogs made some nights quite noisy.. Its hard to cook in the room as it sets off the fire alarm... Best to stay here if you are a heavy sleeper

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating
The property was immaculately clean and the staff were constantly maintaining the grounds
If I had a complaint it would be that the bedding needs to be updated
I found the mattress and pillows to be uncomfortable
But based on my overall stay it was excellent
I felt very safe and its location was very convenient

Another solid stay in Aruba, clean and well kept property. Daily room cleaning is definitely a bonus.

We did a last-minute family trip to Aruba and booked an apartment at Sasaki a few days prior to traveling. We had a great experience!
Pros:
- walkable area; hotel is right next to the largest supermarket on the island
- close to the beach (10-15 min walk)
- quiet property
- nice little clean pool
- EXCELLENT staff at the reception. They were ready to help and offered lots of great advice.
- good value for money; nice little kitchen and enough room in the apartment to hang out.
- environmentally friendly and quite sustainable: no plastic shampoo bottles or any of those trinkets, just enough towels for the people, and the tap water is safe to drink!
Cons:
- a bit outdated but it’s expected at this price point
- strict checkout times and $15 deposit for beach towel so we just went and bought our own

Wife and I liked our stay at Sasaki, that we’re coming back next summer to stay if they’ve an opening.

I really enjoy how clean and complete the apartment was, kitchen had everything we needed. My only complaint was internet that was not working properly in the room.

Wish it had better Wifi but location was clean and quiet. Walkable to Beach with large market across the street for goods and necessities. Nice pool side and bbq area.

The staff at the Sasaki Apartments are terrific! I forgot some important medication and was staying in Aruba for 3 weeks. Isabel immediately got on the phone with the Aruba Cancer Foundation and found out how to remedy the issue and Pedro drove me to the pharmacy and waited until everything was finished. This type of care is something that does not happen at a resort.
The apartments are simple and do the trick. My daughter and I stayed in the standard studio. The fridge was large, with plenty of dishes, pots, and pans. You receive dish soap, a sponge, a dishcloth, and a tea towel. This is not a fancy resort but is comfortable. You will be out and about enjoying the island.
There are plenty of bath towels. You can rent beach towels for a $15 US deposit and can exchange them when needed.
The pool is wonderful! Maybe bring those clips for your lounge chairs as the wind is intense, which is life-saving as the heat and humidity are high.
Having Super Food right beside the complex is outstanding. You don't have to plan too many days ahead.
I am rating the Sasaki Apartments a 5 for the sum of its parts and its value! I would return for sure!

My only suggestion would be to try to get WiFi to the rooms. Nevertheless, Sasaki Apts is a perfect slice of paradise.

I had a three night stay at Sasaki apartments in May 2024. The property is gated & very safe. It’s right next to Super foods. ( where you have a cafe where you can eat for cheap; food in the supermarket is expensive though ).
Danilo did my check in . Fast & efficient. The room had 2 double beds , a working area , a very small kitchenette and a bathroom. What I liked about the room is that it was quiet, the AC did NOT blow right on the bed , the room was very clean, the TV had a decent number of channels on it. AC was strong & wifi was fast. I liked the signs everywhere on how to use / preserve things. There is room cleaning every day & towels change, if you need those services. Sandra was also very nice and respected my privacy when I asked her that I don’t need cleaning. The pool area and garden areas are nice & spotless clean.
Things that can improve: mattress and pullows are not very comfortable. They need to invest in better quality ones & also upgrade the sheets quality. A door hanger with “ do not disturb sign should be provided( having the blinds up does not mean you left the room). You need a towel hanger in the bathroom, opposite of the mirror . The floor tiles grout should be cleaned properly & then resealed so it looks clean.
Aruba: water is potable here. Taxes charge extra for Carry ons. Property in 10 min walk from the low rise hotels area beach. The easiest to get to is to cross the street&walk through the condos across the street property to get to it.

8 mins walking distance to the beautiful Eagle Beach. Literally 1 min walking distance to Super Food which is a large grocery market which is an awesome place! The property is clean and well maintained! We'd visit this property again if we ever visit Aruba in future!

This was our second time staying at Sasaki Apartments and while we were disappointed in how quiet it was with few people staying there we understand it was the time of year. Everywhere was quiet. The Sasaki has everything we need for a relaxing holiday. We would definitely stay again just not in April.

This has to be a best kept secret. The property is beautiful with an adult pool and kiddy pool. The grounds and room are kept clean. The staff at the front office are welcoming and helpful. The Food Center had all I needed to stock up on Breakfast and room wine and daily snacks. I ordered lunch twice and breakfast there. The room was lovely to come home, shower and relax. Love this place.

Apartment location was great and has a fantastic pool area. The hotel itself is in need of updating but is impeccably clean. Cleaning staff Isabel is a gem!! This hotel is meant for the budget travellers. I’ll make aware of a few things to be prepared for. The hotel charges for use of the grill, $10 each use and must be pre-booked. There is no flexibility on this as I did question what if I wanted to use after 6pm when no staff around, my response was to plan ahead and that it has never been an issue that guests always know ahead of time if they are grilling dinner. ?!? A deposit of $15 dollars is required for use of beach towels, that you will get back at check out time. The room iron is under lock and key, again pre plan if you want to use, no one around after 6pm. Most of Aruba is on a septic system and Sasaki asks that no paper products if any kind be flushed in toilets, including toilet paper. We followed the rules but still encountered a nearly clogged toilet. Overall none of this affected our vacation too much, but would have preferred a little flexibility from management, the extra charges are unfortunate. Most of the other guests agreed. We did ask for a later check out from 11am to 1pm but were denied as the hotel was full for the weekend , understandable however I’m not sure the request would have been entertained even if the hotel wasn’t full. Again vacation was still fantastic as always in Aruba & do hope this review is helpful for future travellers.

Close to the Super Foods and affordable Jacks Cafe. Room was outdated and Internet was not great. Very cost effective and 15 minute walk to the beach.

Sasaki is OK. Pros- pool is good, quiet and shaded lounging always available; gas BBQs available, walkable to beach and bus stop; groceries and good coffee right across the street, friendly staff and responsive to issues.
Cons- busy, noisy area; kitchenette is only suited to small basic meals; shower a bit dirty, cramped for more than two people; limited dining options in walking distance; but no deal breakers if you are looking for a value accomodation. Get a second floor unit and you can sit out with a bit more privacy.
