It’s a beautiful resort but not very well maintained. Out bathroom ceiling was full of mold and it smelled terribly.
Nice pool but it was very hot, not even refreshing and over 30 degrees outside.
Nice beach but not enough umbrellas.
Overall good experience but not 5 star.

Lovely hotel. Staff were very good and attentive. You will need to get a taxi to go anywhere

Quite a nice hotel good beach nice grounds. Only problem was we stayed for 5 nights and unfortunately for 3 nights there were corporate events which really disturbed our stay lots of loud pa announcement

The atmosphere and the whole area was beautiful and just lovely! The beach next to it is brilliant! Obviously as it is a resort it is in it own area so if you wanted to go out you would have to leave the resort and go out.

Good property overall, a bit outdated compared to newer higher end resorts, however staff did an excellent job

Lovely clean resort. Great location. Beautiful tiered infinity pool and great vibe at the beach bar pool.

It’s a big place. Next to the beach. However, the furnitures are a bit outdated. Lack of maintenance.

The food was average and no drinks were cold. I asked and paid for a sunny pool access room and got a dark shaded room in a corner with hardly any pool access.

Very clean, big resort and room. Facing the beach and food options are really good. Highly recommended

Property a little tired but overall ok place to stay. Government owned and run resulting in some slackness in service.

This Hotel is situated on the beach. Everything was perfect. Staff extremely polite.

This is a beachfront property, great for long walks along the beach, nice & clean, staff is very accommodating. Walking distance to Bali Collection Mall - very nice for shopping, restaurants and just strolling around

Very poor experience
AC wasn’t working (stuck at 26C in hot and humid weather)and they couldn’t fix it
Offered to switch me to another room and that AC didn’t work too

Great environment at Merusaka. Hubby and I enjoyed our stay very much. Dusa Nua is an exclusive area, lesser crowd than other parts like Kuta and Ubud. However, if it’s your first visit to Bali, you might want to experience other parts of bali to have an authentic feel before going to Dusa Nua.

The food I tried did not measure up to the price I paid. Beramundi lacked flavor and was dry and chewy. Breakfast was way over priced. It just lacked organization and quality. Egg station had a line, ordered eggs benedict but the eggs were ivercooked and took forever to get to me. I did enjoy the pool access room water was refreshing while public pool the water was luke warm.

Pool access from the room was incredible experience

Our stay in Merusaka was ok. It is a nice hotel, and even though the beach is beautiful, it was filled with trash which made it difficult to swim in. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you do stay in Nusa dua, be prepared to have to take a taxi ride to the outside towns (uluwatu, canggu, etc) since there is not much to do here.

Close to Bali Collection and local restaurants. Beach is great.
Staff are fantastic. Rooms are big.
Only issue was gym should be bigger with more equipment.

Didn’t like black mould in pool, money theft from room, uneven steps and no pool access in areas, tasteless unappetising food.

Overall it is a beautiful property on a beautiful beach. Everything would have been 5 star except when we checked out. Called for help with our bags at 11:15 (check out is 12). We are seniors and it is a good hike to the lobby. By 12:15, after five follow up calls, we had to just push our bags. Kind of left a bad impression after an otherwise wonderful stay.

The hotel is very old and not keep up the condition. Grounding areas were not clean and too crowded and noisy.

The hotel pools were exquisite and the beach was a few seconds walk, so we had the best of both. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. There were always enough Sun loungers and the food was fantastic.

Beautiful setting right on the beach, with several pools that catered for young, old and children with shaded areas also.
Indonesian restaurant was magnificent with perfect service.
Will definitely be back to stay!

On arrival we had to wait for 1 hr after check in time to check in. The staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing. The breakfast was terrible and like a mess hall with people fighting over the one toast machine. The room service took an hr to be told they had run out of white wine. There was a wedding in the mess hall which was so noisy. Thank god we had a pool villa which was lovely but I got eaten alive with mosquito’s. Such a disapointing stay seeing it was out honeymoon.

Stayed for 3 days. The pool villa was great. Really 5 star rating. The staff was very accommodating. They really took care of us. The beach front was perfect.

The staff where super friendly and very helpful. We stayed 7 nights and enjoyed living at the pool villa. The resort is located walking distance to the shops and restaurants.
We will defiantly come back and recommend this Resort.
