Stormy day but with a cozy stay made a lot of difference

Location was really good and parking was a massive bonus, clean rooms nice bathroom, windows needed cleaning and stairwells could do with a tidy up, but in the whole I think it was good value for money.
I would happily stay again

Great location, staff were super friendly and helpful. A big plus was the free onsite parking. Had a good range of amenities in the rooms. Rooms could do with a good deep clean though.

Was really good for the price it was for my family of 5 for 6 days and 5 nights :)
Will definitely stay again next time we are down in wellington

Lovely gentleman at check in who gave us a room upgrade free of charge which was very kind. Very close to Cuba Street. Excellent location

Staff gentilissimo

The staff were helpful when we requested a very late check-in after arriving on the late car ferry. Very conveniently located with parking in centre of city. Great location for eating out, room key gave gate access to back entrance very near Cuba St.Stayed in king room. No style to the room, and not the cleanest, but all facilities working, particularly appreciated heated bathroom tiled floor, & electric blanket. Bed was comfortable. Laundry was good too.

Excellent value for money. Great location and a car park is a real bonus.

Great location and parking. Very central

Property though dated was in a central location close to shops and restaurants with parking for cars if needed. Kitchen facilities were adequate for our 5 day stay, bed was comfortable and bathroom very clean. Service friendly and helpful.

The heater was noisy and inadequate. The grounds were dirty. Lights around the outside halls didn't all work leaving areas dark. It is in a convenient location but is hard to identify from the street ehen looking for the place.

Easy check in and underfloor heating in the bathroom was a plus. The bed was very comfortable. The location was really good. The stairway up to the upper level was filthy. The curtains in the lounge area were falling down. Not the cheapest either, but all in all it was a good stay.

A very affordable and convenient place to stay in central Wellington. Free parking onsite a definite bonus!

Nice hotel, very close to Wellington waterfront and other sights. Good range of facilities in room including a small kitchen. Parking is free. My only complaint is it was difficult to find from the road. I drove past twice before I found it.

Roomy, clean, tired, and hopeless internet

Victoria Court was perfect for our short stay for a concert in the city centre. It is clean, comfortable and convenient - very handy to Cuba Street, which we love. We’ve given it an overall 4 rather than 5 because, compared to some hotels/motels, it’s more homely than fancy, but the price was very good and it suited our needs perfectly. We will definitely stay there again.

Staff were so lovely and friendly. Very easy check in and out. The property is a bit dated, but everything is neat and clean.

Staff friendly & helpful, room clean but a little older very well located especially with parking in the city

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was great. The room was dated, especially the bathroom. Cleanliness wasn't a factor. The shower head was covered in line scale and the vent hadn't been cleaned in a very long time, the window latches were broken and blinds falling apart. There was also hair all through the carpet of the entire unit. This was supposed to be an executive suite, but they didn't service it, the towels were mismatched and the 'complimentary' soap and shampoo etc was an all in one dispenser which also hadn't been cleaned. Would stay again for the parking and location only and definitely wouldn't pay for a room upgrade..

That there were dirty cutlery draw and oven. They did not have any handles to hold on to when climbing in or out of deep bath. Tile grouting was moldy and floor edges were dusty. Someones dirty sox under sofa and blocks of wood stabilizing the couch.

This property was clean and tidy. Centrally located, it is close to Cuba Street and within walking distance to other popular Wellington sights. Beds were a little firm but fine for 3 nights. Linen was clean. Rooms fresh. Grout in bathroom was discoloured (as others mentioned) and could do with a whitening product, though the spa bath and shower worked very well with excellent pressure and everything was very clean. A mini kitchen was stocked with basic utensils, toaster & kettle, pots & elements mini fridge. All in all I feel I got very good value for money here and we will stay again the next time we visit Wellington. Check in and check out was easy. Parking outside was on a hill but we managed with a Highlander. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Room was clean, but in very poor condition. Stained curtains falling off tracks, light in sitting area flickered then eventually worked, chipped hand basin in bathroom, grout in bathroom mouldy, walls have been painted once - long ago, and now have multiple marks and small areas of damage. The bed was a steel frame base with mattress on top, but was comfortable. Outdoor chairs were falling apart.

What a wonderful hidden gem in the heart of Wellington. Just so glad we found it after all these years. It’s our ‘go to’ next time we need to stay.

The rooms were dark and felt dingy. Terrible WiFi, it was none existent most of the time.
The rooms were noisy from neighbouring guests, from the bars down the street, and the RV park right next door. Also, if you have a car it’s pot luck trying to find a parking space in the Motel grounds.
The motel’s only saving grace was it’s location close to the CBD.

Noisy at night & early morning but this is to be expected in the heart of a major city.
Property is tired & amenities dated. My examples:Sofa in the lounge had no springs in the seat so you sink into, what I think must be, a sofa bed & mould stained grouting in the bathroom. These are minor issues however, and believe the price paid is commensurable.
Great if you are just staying for the night whilst in-transit.

We booked this place as we pulled into Wellington, 5 minutes before getting to it. Not quite like the photos but no extra cost to park the car. Very walkable we were only there the single night before moving on. More than happy. Real value for money as we got a 2 bedroom unit for the 3 of us.

Great location with easy access to motorway and ferry terminal. On site parking was great and we appreciated the lifts with our room being on the 3rd floor.
Due to my guest arrangement I had to sleep in a single bed and it was extremely soft and uncomfortable similar to sleeping in a hammock. I would stay here again!
4.0
This is absolutely central Wellington, it is so easy to walk around, it is safe (a gated parking area) and the parking is very good (I had a large ute). There is a supermarket within 5 minutes walk, multiple eateries in the Cuba street precinct literally just around the block. Excellent checkin, so easy, friendly and helpful.
