Our beds did not have Clean sheets! I went to management and got sheets and changed them myself! With a bit more cleaning, this could be a nice place! The bathroom was OK

Carpet is noisy

Definitely old and rundown. Linens were spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. The couch has probably never been cleaned since the 60’s or 70’s when it was first purchased, I had to clean to ceiling fan so that I could turn it on or else dust/grime would have gotten into the meal I was cooking. We rented a room with a kitchen, it was lacking supplies… dishcloths, dish towels, clean sponge to wash dishes with, dish detergent was watered down, no drying rack, barely enough dishes or cutlery for the 3 of us (had to improvise) and cooking utensils were lacking. Basically, you have a stove, a sink and a fridge… bring what you need to cook, eat with and clean. Overall, I would stay again, as the cleanliness of the linens and comfort of the beds makes it worth it.

Parking was not convenient. Hallways were long and old looking. In room the carpet was stained and old. Front attendant was ok but not overly friendly.

The room I reserved was not available upon arrival so my family was split up into two rooms on separate floors at the complete ends of the motel, maintenance and cleanliness were sorely lacking. The only positive was the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I stopped here for one night and decided to stay here for the rest of the 10 days I need to be in Smithers. The manager kindly found me another room more suitable for a longer stay. Breakfast is nice too. Everything clean, quiet, and comfortable. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores, Main Street, all very walkable from the Capri.

Upon first entry of the room there was garbage from the last person who stayed.. the room's AC was broken so we asked for a fan. Worker said shed ask her manager and we go no reply. Bathroom sink and tub were clogged. While showering the water filled to our ankles because it was clogged

Our air conditioning did not work. They moved us efficiently to a better room.

The full kitchen was great, I love having a place to cook a meal even when I’m on the road.

Staff had me checked in record time. Bed was good, shower was good. Squeaky old floor was amusing.

Everything was alright for an older motel. The price reflected what the place was going to be like which is what was delivered. The thing that most people need and want is good television and a clean bathroom. This place failed on television- no TV reception in any room! Totally unacceptable.

Saw ants in the breakfast area, window latches almost broke off, would barely keep the window closed at the ground floor level. Was shure the bed coverings are as old as my adult children. Needs a serious overhaul.

We stayed one night. Room was old but clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room fit our needs.

What I liked is that it is good value for the money What I didn’t like is that it is outdated and needs an upgrade. It does come with breakfast and there is even a fancy coffee machine so I could have a cappuccino in the morning . Bottom line- Good value for the money

Was booked as a stop on a very long haul drive for employees. They said check-in was seamless. They where happy with the overall stay.

The TV picture was like a very noisy antenna connection. Main room and bathroom looked old and run down. hallways were blocked with equipment. Door to my room did not want to latch properly. Questionable charracters hovering around the motel complex, I did not feel that my vehicle was in a secure monitored parking area.

Was close to town. Was met at desk for checking in. The rooms were not very clean and the breakfast was not supplied with any food. The bed and bedding and towels were good. No closet or hangers and the room was dusty and very minimal.

Good value. Safe, decently quiet (could hear the TV quietly next door for a short while), beds were comfortable, and it smelled fine. Coffee maker, fridge. Pet charge $20 per dog. Big stains on the rug, bent window screen, could use more electrical outlets. Second bedside lamp switch was broken and had tape over it. Staff at check in was a bit irritable when we used a different card to check in, and when we told her we have a dog after she had already booked us into a no pet room. I acknowledge that our check in took an extra 3 minutes but she wasn't busy and didn't exactly roll with it. We also got a call from them after we were asleep to move our pick up truck to the other side of the building. It was impinging on the lane even though we parked touching the cement stop. The parking was real tight on our side of the building so the concern was legit. They relented to us parking sideways in front of our window so we could keep an eye on our bikes. I feel like any small thing at check in was a hassle to them, and that they didn't acknowledge that their parking space was the primary issue. They weren't gracious about it - including waking us up. Maybe get a sign that says 'park sideways'. I felt like I was the one saying the thank you's and sorries while they were feeling hassled and like we were morons. That said, it's a worker's hotel, seems to have longer term residents who they keep on a leash. It's safe, comfortable and sufficient with good prices.

The Capri in Smithers needs a facelift. The halls need new carpeting. The floor inside the room creaked. The bedspreads were old-fashioned. The parking lot was not conveniently located to the rooms. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Very nice staff. Price was appropriate for the hotel. ☺️
