Absolutely faultless 99% of the time, I could see that on our last day the restaurant staff were hard pushed over the breakfast period as the service was not as good as the 3 mornings before.
However everything else was superb.
Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

Sarai is a beautiful boutique hotel close to the action of Pub Street! We stayed 3 nights but would have loved to stay longer. The people are all so lovely. Their attentiveness and calmness helped us have one of the most relaxing stays we have had. The architecture of the hotel was interesting, Moroccan style but an interesting inner courtyard that reminded us of the stairs in Harry Potter, oh and the room was large, clean and quiet. A great place at a very reasonable price! Thank you everyone at Sarai!

We had a great time there, staff is super friendly and it is on a walking distance to the city centre.

Really good moments, spa is really good, pity we only tryed it at the end, breakfast is correct, team is really friendly, nice two swimming pool, really peaceful atmosphere. Thank you to the team, but specialy Mrs Daren, our stay in Siem Reap was really good probably because we were in this kind of place. Localisation really good, tuk-tuks are often there, Mr BEE was our driver, nice and correct man.

Our stay at the Sarah was amazing! You couldn’t fault a thing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt like royalty. Thank you so so much

Beautiful hotel, well appointed rooms and very friendly and accommodating staff.

My family and I stayed at the Sarai Resort for four nights during our visit to Siem Reap in mid-May. The Sarai Resort was fantastic! It was perfectly located - a short walk to the old markets and the bustling night life of Siem Reap. The cleanliness and quality of our room was excellent, providing a very comfortable stay. The pool was fabulous and the highlight was definitely the excellent cocktails that we enjoyed every afternoon. They were undoubtedly the best cocktails we had whilst in Cambodia. The food at the restaurant was also first-rate. The service and attention from the Resort staff was outstanding. They were amazing and friendly and made every effort to make our stay truly enjoyable. My entire family loved the free massages and the complimentary high tea. My wife undertook a cooking course with the Resort chef and thoroughly enjoyed learning how to cook some Khmer dishes. I highly recommend the Resort for anyone visiting Siem Reap! We will definitely be back to the Sarai Resort on our next holiday to Cambodia.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and the rooms are large and comfortable.

It is beautiful hotel and private pool in the room!

Place is very welcoming, tidy and the people are extremly friendly. They upgraded my room with no extra charge!

Watch out for bait and switch rooms. I booked and pre paid their best room, upon check-in was told that room was not available by a nervous looking receptionist but that I was getting a better UPGRADED room. That was most definitely not the case as we entered the room that was HALF the size of the room I had paid for and the pool was green!. Told them this was not acceptable and after some 20 minutes of back and forth of me having to prove that the room they gave me was far less cost than what I had paid for they finally gave me at least a comparable room in size which still had a green water pool by the way. Which begs the question why not that room in the first place. I believe this is a scam they are running. I really tried to like it afterwards despite this major issue but they kept letting me down, from the soggiest waffles, tiny portions, extra charges if you want a fresh pulled coffee at breakfast, dismal menu. I decided I would absolutely not be spending another dime in this hotel. After coming from another hotel (Borei) that was half the price and way wayyyy better service and in every facility aspect. This is most definitely not a 5 star hotel and I am not surprised it's a ghost town and will most likely be out of business soon.

Truly a beautiful place and I would love to stay here again

Amazing stay. The staff was really helpfull and friendly. They even packed us a breakfast basket for our sunrise tour to Angkor Wat, as the breakfast hall was closed.

Old school charm, interesting architecture and design. Even the floor tiles capture your eye. Staff couldn't be nicer, as with all Cambodians we've ever known. Pool is nice. Looks like it could be used in a Bogart Bacall film noir. Price is spot on value. Really enjoyed it. Would love to go back someday.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, the pool was lovely and the environment relaxed and peaceful. We really felt lucky to be staying there.
4.7
Beautiful hotel with amazing, attentive staff. Having hotel tuktuks were also a huge benefit that made staying here even more convenient. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit!

This property is beautiful and all the staff were incredible. We can’t say enough good things about this hotel and our stay. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends travelling to Siem Reap!
4.7
Did not disappoint! The hotel was quick to respond and honor the one-way transfer from the airport (as per initial booking). The staff were gracious and accomodating. They packed us a breakfast for the early start to the temple circuit. The hotel was within walking distance to restaurants (or within easy access to tuk tuks). Will recommend!

Helpful attentive staff. Hotel was like a palace. Many beautiful spaces. Pool and restaurant were great. Close to shopping and markets. Would stay again.

This is the one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
I can’t recommend this enough if you are in Cambodia.

Nice hotel with extremely kind and helpful staff. Room suite was amazing. Restaurant was awesome as well.

Every part of our stay here was absolutely amazing, from the room with pool views from the sitting room to the hotel amenities and the location, 10 mins walk to the heart of Siem Reap. But what made the whole experience go beyond our expectations was the beautiful staff who went out of their way to make our stay an unforgettable one. We happened to be there for the Khmer New Year celebrations and the staff were quick to include us in the festivities, which was the best fun ever! Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!

Good location, nice open air lay out and lovely pool. Confortable rooms, liked the daiy beds in the loggia box windows overlooking pool.Bathroom a bit quirky being little room off the main bedroom. Only downside was the room door need refitting and it let in roo much noise from outside.
4.7
An oasis off a busy town street with courteous and friendly staff

I do not like to post bad reviews. However, I want to save others from wasting their money. I don’t understand all the great reviews. The photos make the property look way more cleaner and luxurious than it is. Pool was green, room was dusty/dirty, the “on site laundry “ is not self serve and costs a $1 or more per item, no poolside bar as stated , no rooftop restaurant or bar as stated, no tennis court as stated, the “on site shopping/gift shop “ is a table with some jewelry on it. The family suite is a small room with a tall ceiling and loft. For those sleeping in the loft they have to come down a tiny unsafe staircase to use the bathroom. This loft is not safe for young children or older adults. There is zero privacy when using the bathroom. You have to undress and dress in the shower, as the shower opens into the main room. We checked out on day 2 and requested a refund for the 4 unused nights. We were told by the hotel to contact Expedia and Expedia reached out, but the hotel would not provide a refund despite false advertising this property. This is a 3 star at best not a 5 star. The only good thing about this property was the kind onsite staff and the driver. They were great at their job.

Close to Pub Street. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Relaxing stay overall!

We had a wonderful time here and would come back in a heartbeat. I was traveling with my family and all of us loved it. We stayed in a Family Room, which is great. The picture window is like its own room, the upstairs terrace is lovely (with a swing seat, sofas, coffee and tea, sink), and we all found our beds comfy. Note that the bathroom flows into the bedroom, though, so if your group/family expect heightened privacy, that might be a thing. The pool is lovely, and has a great classy feel. The staff were amazing, every one of them lovely. David was a standout: we lucked into getting him for our airport transfer and then kept going back to him for all our tours, for which he was great (he had things to share as a driver, which made him kind of like a tour guide, but he never talked our ears off. He is a really nice person too, who my daughter already misses, and he went above and beyond. Great English too). Restaurant is tasty: breakfast offerings were superb, especially. Location is good -- easy walk or $2 tuk-tuk to town, and some good places to eat nearby too (Khmer Grill and SPOONS were each very good). And my wife loved the massage she got there. Plus, the hotels.com VIP extras added up to make this an amazing deal. Overall, I just can't believe I've spent the same amount on bad American roadside motels as I spent on a lovely, fancy, beautiful hotel with great staff. Would/will go back.

Beautiful property but it is a bit outdated. The room had comfortable bedding. Breakfast was great and staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff were amazing, all of them.

Great hotel with wonderful staff!! Good location and good food.

This is a nice property, showing a little wear, but a great value for the price. I had a very nice room, very comfortable and clean. I did not use the pool or the facilities, but they all looked nice. My only issue was that the wifi in my room was unavailable. The wifi in the lobby worked fine, but not in my room. Since I was only here for one night, I didn't really fuss, but poor/no wifi is really inexcusable.
