We booked a cedar cabin for two nights. School holidays and a weekend stay made it very expensive. The cabin was comfortable and clean and suited what we were after. Because we were parked under Cypress trees the possums had a great time weeing all over our car which was the only real negative of our stay.

Fantastic location, cabins are super clean and spacious. Very well equiped with crockery and utensils, and linen. Loved the verandah and bench table outside the cabin. Grounds were well looked after. All staff were friendly. Would recommend Surfside Holiday park to family and friends. Big tick of approval 👌. 10/10

Great location right beside the beach & underpass under busy road to Lake Pertobe which when my daughter saw all the play equipment stated this is the best day of her life

We stayed in a Cedar cabin which had easy access and was surrounded by a grassed area - a lot more room than you normally get with an onsite cabin. The beach is an easy flat walk. The roads can be very busy during peak times, e.g. January but in Feb it was very pleasant.

It was in a nice quiet area and the chalets were lovely, a bit small and could have been designed just a tad better due to doors being wrong place in the bathroom. You had to shut the door to access the basin but overall happy.

It's a large caravan park with some self- contained cabins- ours was very comfy. Lots of green grass, trees and spacious grounds, well kept with car parking just outside our cabin. It's right near the beach - the cold weather meant we didn't swim though. Our cabin was lined with wood, which was very soundproof. The air conditioning kept us warm and it was good to be able to make our breakfast in the small kitchen. We all enjoyed the included Netflix in the evening and when it was raining. The park is just across the road from a large and excellent playground for kids of all ages - which we enjoyed also.

We had a comfortable night in a cabin here. The cabin was basic, but it had everything we needed. The biggest drawback was that the reverse cycle aircon was really really loud!

Small but ok if you don’t spend much time in the cottage. Nice and close to beach and great playground with maze. Good location overall. Had an issue with a very smelly kitchen cupboard, but other than that all good

Surfside is holiday park accommodation so different to hotels, and travellers need to keep in mind there is no servicing etc, but we loved it!! The cedar cabins are just lovely, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Perfect for families who like to self cater, there is a full size fridge and oven, and bbqs close by. The park itself is located in a pretty spot down from Flagstaff Hill, an easy walk to the beach, and a quick drive into town. A very relaxing seaside stay, we will definitely return.

Great location for kids - big playground across the road & beach a very short walk away. The set up of the cabin gave the kids flexibility about where to sleep, however there was.no real storage capacity for luggage or food, and no privacy for adults. Suited us well for our overnight stay for 2 adults & 2 children, and was a good price for accommodation in 'high' season.

Good for an overnight stay. Quiet area. Staff were very helpful with check in. Cabins are basic and a bit old, but cheap and good for a short stay. Would be bit crowded to have 3 or 4 people in for longer than a couple of days.

We had a Mariner cabin with a double bed and 4 bunks which was too small even for 2 people. We stayed in cabins in other towns for the same dollars and got far superior cabins. The park and surrounds are fine.

We stayed at one of the Mariners Cottage. It was so tiny you could hardly dry yourself after a shower. Th "Kitchen" was a joke.

Great cabin in a fantastic location. The park itself was very basic but that didn't matter because it's location meant we were only a stone's throw from the town centre, the beach and one or the best parks in the world. Only downfall was finding someone else's hair in the bathroom and shower and not having a hair dryer. Minor things which I am sure the friendly park staff would have rectified if I was staying long enough to chat to them. Overall I'd recommend this park to all my friends and family. :)
