We've stayed at the Cattleman's Rest Motor Inn many times over the years and have always been happy with the service and accommodation. The fact that they have a restaurant attached, that serves excellent meals, is a bonus.

Batteries in remote flat. Restaurant not open and hasn’t been for some time. Toilet pedestal loose and wobbly. No plates Knives forks or other cutlery in room. No microwave. No basin in badly renovated bathroom. In other words, a real dump.

Had to clean aircon filters myself just so the air-conditioning would work properly, any cleaner should know to check aircon filters on there weekly or daily clean, they were full of dust and the aircon worked much better after they were cleaned.

Was told that he "didn't know as hadn't been out much" Got wifi code then discovered that needed a separate code for each device! Returned to reception for another code! It's the little things that count. I came in after dark. The remote control didn't work. After several calls and walking back to reception someone came to exchange it. There was no milk in the fridge for morning coffee. Receptionist seemed stressed and not very welcoming. Had to call again to ask for wifi code. Overall disappointing for the price.
