Breathtaking views and gardens, delicious meals, comfortable bed, and the staff was super helpful. Many thanks to Gloria in helping with the next leg of our journey.

Enjoyed the layout, food and staff

This was one of the most uniquely experiencies at some hotel for me. Everyone knew me before I talked to them, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that was truly appreciated. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were experiencies not only meals… the room was cozy and extremely clean, the spa invited you to stay long hours at the warm pools… and the location is amazing the landscape is the most vivid I’ve experienced before..

The hotel needs room updating. The setting & grounds are stunning. The personnel very attentive

More like private estate grounds than a hotel for all of the garden areas and pathways to the pool and the rocky beach. Wonderfully quiet and friendly service. Special!

Very nice property with friendly and helpful staff. No fitness center was a drawback.

Beautiful setting. A nice walk to town. Excellent restaurant.
A couple of small changes would make it even better - Kleenex in room, and a wall mirror somewhere other than the bathroom.

One of the most well preserved mid century modern marvels I’ve ever stayed in- very authentic, great atmosphere- though very luxurious, it’s still restrained enough to maintain its soul- great estate, gardens, pool, etc... with great restaurant

What a wonderful place to relax! Quiet, clean, and a throwback to the Mad Men era!

Lovely hotel, very relaxing environment. Friendly service with each check-in procedure. Beautiful grounds and view, comfortable lounge area with nice fireplace perfect to crawl up to a good book and cup of coffee or wine. Short and inexpensive cab ride to center City with lots of fun options. Wish we stayed longer!

The hotel is located on Lake Villarica, and has abundant land surrounding it with beautiful landscaping. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms have a fireplace that creates a cozy atmosphere, as well as Direct TV. The restaurant offers many unique, flavorful dishes, and the waiters are attentive and friendly; however the tables should be spread out more to ensure privacy. The spa is well maintained, quiet, and peaceful. The hotel is less than two miles from the center of Pucon.

We drove from Temuco and found the hotel without difficulty. The location was stunning with beautifully cultivated gardens and delightful walks along paths laden with spring flowers and shrubs. The views across the lake were fantastic. The staff were more than welcoming. The Bauhaus design suited the location and the glazed outer walls of the lounge, dining areas and bedroom have the fullest advantage to the magnificent views. The rooms were more than comfortable enhanced by wood burning fireplace which gave an added cosines. The log fire in the lounge was spectacular. We had drinks and ate in the hotel and both experiences were very pleasurable and the restaurant staff were charming. Our only minor issue was the coffee.

This is one of the top hotels in the world. It was build in the late 1940 on a beautiful spot along the Villarica lake. The achitechture is still very much modern with the best views from every room. The restaurant has classical style fit for royalty. Don`t expect a modern hotel with the latest fashions. The open fires in all rooms are the old style. The staff might do with some more training. The surroundings with the Villa Rica Volcan and many lakes are a great draw, but plan some time to be in the hotel and its increadible garden.

Hotel with fantastic location...but best years were a few decades ago. Hotel shows its age and is probably too far from Pucon.. Food is ok but price to quality ratio is high.

The hotel was just beautiful. Rooms were oustanding, Scenery and views spectacular. The service was 10 out of 10 and a special mention to Beatrice and Israel. We loved it very much and recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful property and attentive staff, we were given very useful tips by the receptionist. The hotel embraces the country's simplicity and offers a home feeling environment.

We came at the beginning of summer. The hotel was perfect! Staff helped us make the utmost of every day, rain or shine and contributed to a family-run feel for a truly luxurious stay. Meals overlooking the lake were superb: it was is there was a private chef for us. Rental car ability, contact with superb local guides (hiking, fly fishing, rafting, volcano climbing) and proximity to town made our experience a "woe"

Like a step back in time. Original Retro furniture, stunning views from all rooms over lake and a great indoor/outdoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Food is also delicious. Even Queen Elizabeth has stayed here. Only downer is it is 2 Kim's from town.
