beautiful place and very quiet and relaxing. Will be back and spend more time in the area.

We were greeted by very nice staff.
The hotel was dirty .
Bathroom floor after wiping with tissue was disgusting.
There is a broken cutting board screwed to the kitchen counter.
It is split and has black grunge all around the edges and the split part has mould inside.
There is no dish soap or tea towels or wash cloths to do dishes.
Charge is 1.00 per towel if you want a change after 1 week!
Seriously!
The beds were all round the hardest and most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in.
We would never return !
We left 2 days early .
Wish we never went there.

The location was a walk from the centre of Portovenere but it was quiet. It was a nice break from the business of the villages of Cinque Terre

Excelent location, beach, pool, friendly staff, rooms with sea view. Great breakfast and wonderful restaurant (normal price). Parking.

We stayed here for two nights toward the end of a two week trip to Italy. The room was clean and our two-room suite gave us plenty of room. The restaurant was excellent! We had some of the best food here on our trip. The beach was very clean and comfortable. On a Monday the hotel restaurant was closed (very common) but the recommended trattoria just down the street was great. It was not a luxury hotel, but was very good and affordable.

The location of thw Hotel was good, and just a short walk to Portovenere centrum. Nice pool. Okei rooms, but nothing fancy. The breakfast was not impressing. I think the hotel was too expensive for what you get for the prize. You also need to pay for sunbeds Even though you are a guest.

It worked for us...to get to Cinque Terre abd be away from the crowds.

I loved this town and my view was wonderful. The season did not allow the pool to be open yet but I can tell that when it is the season it is spectacular. The location is away from the ancient village which is nice for quiet and no crowds. The restaurant is really great too which is where the included breakfast is.

Lovely, modern complex. We ate at the restaurant which served local dishes.....delicious! Highly recommended

About the only thing that matched the property description was the view. There was no onsite presence other than at checkin and checkout times and no tourist info such as a town map. Since the apartment was a good half hour walk to the town centre it would have been useful to have information about the bus. The hotplates in the kitchen did not work and there was no kettle. The airconditioning was not effective and the wifi flakey. The bed was hard and uncomfortable The restaurant was only open at minimal times. We went for dinner one night, were seated in an empty restaurant and after a wait of about 10 minutes were given a hand written menu on a scrap of paper listing half a dozen fish dishes. The bar was not open at all and the pool was empty. Obviously our visit in April was out of season, but we feel we should have been informed of this. But the biggest problem was simply the lack of anyone on site to give assist and no way to contact anyone.

It feels as if it is owned and operated by someone in the real estate industry rather than someone in th hospitality industry.

Every single person I talked to in this hotel and the restaurant was just so friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful and really took time to answer any questions I had since this was my first time in Italy. Overall, I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The view outside of the hotel is amazing, the people were so friendly, and the food at their restaurant is so delicious - you must eat there.

Lovely seaside resort.

There is no one on the front desk at night for any help you need (like internet access or drinks or anything). The room was too small (we hit the bed corners many times). We would go for breakfast and was hard to find the restaurant and no one in the front desk to ask to at 8:00 am. Location was good and also the ocean view and the pool. I suggest to improve the service level

We did the ferry cruise to see Cinqueterre from the sea, hiked to the castle & church & even caught up with another couple from Sydney for lunch on the last of the 3 days!

Generously sized apartment with large balcony and view across the bay to Porto Venere. Helpful staff and a choice of small town beaches nearby - not just the private ones.

We are a young family with a 10 months old, loving outdoors. We really enjoyed the apartment on the 1st floor with a large terrace. It is a specious and clean place, we fitted in easily with all the luggage and clothing for 10 days. We could use the washing machine for a small charge too. The beach and pool were great too. We really liked that it is just outside the town, as it was not as touristy, yet only a short walk to the town, restaurants and the supermarket. Another benefit is that it has it's own parking which can be a problem in the town. We used the boats to get to Cinque Terre and the Island opposite, we went hiking and explored the area around. We are totally in love with this place and having seen other hotels and towns, we would not want to change anything.Yes, it is on a pricier side, but comparing with other places in the region, the price sounds right. It is a 3☆ hotel so one shouldn't expect more. The drawbacks, if we were really looking for some: quite slow WIFI and the selection of tv channels is poor, but hey, it's holiday and time to escape! Also, having heavily relied on cooking, the kitchen was really basic, we could do with an owen and bit more dishes, but we found a way around it and still cooked lovely meals for us and the little one.Overall, we loved it, the best first family holiday one could wish for!

Nice room with good views of the sea. Big balcony. Staff seem to be few and we had to hunt for one to check out. Wifi takes some time to gain access. Porto Venere is a pretty port, but it just lacks personality. We couldn't put our finger on the issue, but neither of us were minded to return. Maybe it was the rip-off restaurants that soured our view.
