This was a great location for our trip around Aix en Provence. Super friendly and helpful staff, we only communicated online and with the check in being so easy, we felt at home right away. My partner and I stayed for a weekend to travel to Marseille and local areas, we had a hire car so the parking availability was perfect. In the end we really appreciated the value of this stay and the quiet location where it was. The room was everything we needed for our weekend adventure, somewhere to relax and unwind after being out all day and with all the ameneties needed to be comfortable.
I forgot my toiletry bag and realised when we were travelling back to Germany, but the staff were incredibly helpful in shipping it back to me! And although it was not valuable this saved me so much stress, I really appreciate everything they did!

As I entered the apartment I immediately noticed a strong chlorine smell. Later I realized that it was used to cover a horrible smell coming from the bathroom sink which spread into the whole room. I decided to leave the day after. I acknowledge how nice and courteous the attendants at this place were. But I was miserable that night and I couldn’t sleep. I hope they’ll refund my money.

An absolute no go!! horrible experience!! this accommodation seems to be a workers' residence, not a tourist place. We had 2 nights of nightmare, with a drunk/very high individual in the room nearby shouting, crying, smashing furniture...with the security and the management doing nothing about it!! avoid at all costs!!

I had a lovely time at Garden & City hotel. I bought the breakfast meal each morning and had croissants and coffee. They had other items too. The staff was nice and spoke some English too.

I wasn’t too impressed with our stay here. The accommodation is quite far from Aix and there wasn’t anything to do within walking distance (at least by the end of September). The mattress was pretty hard, and there wasn’t shampoo or conditioner in our room. I was shocked to read in the rules they penalize guests for a number of things, charging extra if we left dirty dishes in our facility upon checking out for example. Also, only stayed 2 nights, but rooms apparently are cleaned only 1x week here if you don’t request for more, which I think it’s quite poor service.

We stayed here because it was convenient to a wedding we were going to attend. It was comfortable. Unfortunately they didn't have any irons for us to use to get ready. There is no A/C and it was quite hot. And they knocked on everyone's door at 11am to remind us to check out at noon, which I didn't appreciate. Otherwise, it was a fine place to stay.

Trying to get a room at this hotel was the WORST experience of our vacation in Europe! It is a little off the beaten path. It is surrounded by countryside and there is not a lot nearby. You pull up to a gated property and a larger parking lot. There is not sign to the front door of the building, and it almost appears like an apartment complex. The outside appearance of the hotel is mediocre at best.
The biggest issue is that with this hotel you are supposed to call during business hours and notify them if you may have a late arrival because they have a special procedure. We were on a road trip with our 3 small children and had to book day of check-in and there really weren't many rooms left anywhere. So we booked the hotel early in the afternoon and tried to call right away after to get our instructions. No one answered. It would not allow us to leave a message. We called 5 or 6 times and no one answered. We had no where else to go so decided to continue our drive in that direction. We continued to call. Nothing. We arrived slightly after normal checkin had ended with hope somone would be there or there would be a number to call or something. Then we arrived the doors were locked. While i was trying the other doors the front gate randomly closed and we were locked in the parking lot with NO WAY OUT and NO WAY IN for over an hour until a truck came in who knew the code. Still have never heard from the hotel a month later and they denied our request for a refund.

A quiet and well run aparthotel which is pleasantly minimalist but well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Spacious rooms. Lovely views of the garden. Very helpful staff. We had everything that we needed and were sorry to leave. Enjoyed our balcony. Very comtortable bed. Slept like logs!

Good location, easy 15 min walk to the town of Puyricard for boulangerie or bar/restaurants. Also for visits to nearby towns Aix-en-Provence, Auvergne, Marseilles, Aubagne, Cassis and Ciotat( for the beaches). We stayed 7 nights.
Reasonable sized room and kitchenette had plenty of pans and plates bowls etc. Also had washing up liquid provided, which was good. It was missing a chopping board and wine glasses would have been nice.
Compact bathroom all good, but the shower was too small. Every time I or hubby used the shower it was difficult to get in (a bit high off the ground and the door opening too small - it was a square, probably 80cm unit), the when using the shower, because the control handle opened into the space, my elbow or bottom kept knocking the control and changing the water temperature.

Good size room for the money; it was nice having a small kitchenette. The staff was friendly. The only downsides are there was no balcony, the hallway lights didn’t work, no elevator, and limited check in hours.

Great links to surrounding area with great public transport. Swimming pool area was fantastic. Minor issues with a couple of loose tiles and a tap which didn’t work. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. Definitely will stay here again but may book a one bedroom apartment for extra space.

St Raphael was a friendly and manageable 1 day stopover. The hotel is in a relatively quiet area. Air con remote was not working. The management was rather rigid about being too late to be served a meal and where to sit at breakfast. There was no elevator. I wasnt over impressed given the price paid.

Pleasant room with kitchen facilities. Great bed and shower. Bus to Aix en Provence opposite. Excellent market in the village. I was able to wash my clothes but it was expensive
