The local was absolutely perfect and the property had quaint features.

The hotel amenities like the game rooms, welcome smores, and outdoor firepits were awesome. The rooms themselves were not special - there were temporary fixes in our room that were poorly done and just clearly - very - temporary. The beds felt very small and the rooms were small as well. Coffee machine in the room didn't work but there was coffee available in the lobby. Overall, the games were great for the kids but I couldn't sleep at night in the uncomfortable room, so probaby won't stay again.

Super perfect location would recommend everyone to stay here when visiting San Francisco

Nice place, the bathrooms were a little rough… just a little. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. Remote looked like it had never been cleaned.

Great location for looking at the bridges and bay, the lovely wharfs and pier 39 with all its shops and restaurants and for catching the old trams into the city centre. lovely stylish and clean hotel. The s’mores and Halloween candy were a great extra

This hotel is all about location! The staff were very professional and friendly, rooms were cleaned daily during our 4 night stay. No issue with cleanliness here. The hotel is older but has had renovations in recent years that have kept it up to date. With the age comes some minor issues like the hard to open patio door, toilet would run sometimes and the closet door was in need of adjustment as it kept coming off the track. The common areas are could use some TLC (upholstery on furniture is worn/torn, games room and some of the games in need of minor repair) but nothing that would prevent us from returning.
Close to all amenities and many local attractions such as Pier 39. Our particular room even had a view of Alcatraz! Due to the Zephyrs great location we were able to save a lot by just walking or taking the Waymo driverless taxi (a must do while you are in San Francisco by the way). If you do bring your own vehicle be prepared for $64/day parking fee (as of Oct/2024). All in all a great stay.

Loved it! We will definetly be back with our kids. We loved the location and the courtyard area. The room was fun, clean and had a great balcony but the bed was a little firmer than I like.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would choose to stay here again. The rooms were clean and beds were made everyday except one. The location is perfect… steps away from many attractions including the hop on hop off bus, pier 39 and many restaurants. The shower does not have the greatest pressure but does have the large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. One problem here was the conditioner was empty for our entire stay but we had our own. You do get a package to make smores at the fire but this appears to be only once regardless of stay (we stayed 4 nights and only got one package each). The fire pit area was very nice if you could find a seat and the time! Overall it was a great place to stay and would stay again.

The Housekeeper, Don’t Clin Everyday The Room, De Hotel Don’t Have Many Food Service, The Room Don’t Have Nothing In The bar, Safe Don’t working. The only thing is the location is the best close the Pier 39 and you can walk our places

Hotel Zephyr is in a convenient location right near Pier 39. It had a view of the harbour. The room was reasonably spacious, albeit the bathroom was a little small, however not an issue. There are harbour views with balconies, but not our room. The windows in our room did not open which was a little disappointing as there was no reason for this and fresh air would have been perfect. The hotel was quite funky. They had a games room, outdoor games and outdoor fire pits with comfortable soft chairs to sit on. On check in we were given vouchers for s’mores. I was not aware of these. They were a bit of fun. The restaurant out the back of the hotel was very good. I would have no issues recommending this hotel to others.

The vibe here is so chill. Love the outdoor space and the amenities offered. I opted for a room upgrade last minute so i could enjoy a view of alcatraz island, however the view of the island was not so great. We did still enjoy the room and it had a great view of the big ferris wheel so that was ok!

We stayed at the Zephyr Hotel for a week. We slept well during our stay, the customer service was on point. However, the maintenance of the furnitures should be improved.

This hotel is very eclectic and fun. They even had magnetic darts in the rooms. They had every game that you can think of like; ping pong, shuffle board, life size connect 4, 3 fire pits, a photo booth etc. I love the way that they used cargo containers for the walls in areas plus a lot of other cool stuff. It was magical especially for the kids. You cannot be bored here thats for sure. They even hand out s’more kits to use at the 3 fire pits on site. They also have a gym and there’s a connecting restaurant on the premises not to mention that Pier 39 is just a short walk. I will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay! Great location to all the popular things in that area and also LOTS of scooters/bikes to use to go other places.

The room size was so small. Though i got a premium ocean side patio room but it was small. The bathroom was horribly small and conjusted.

The rooms were okay, not the cleanest and the grounds around the hotel were really dirty.

I like the location. The staff was friendly and helpful. I like someone is on the front desk around the clock. Housekeeping took care the rooms everyday.

The prime location is walkable and close to the pier 39 and fisherman wharf.

The hotel is run down . The parking is over 70 dollars a night . My room was dirty and the a/c don’t work however wouldn’t have been bad but windows don’t open they are sealed . The outdoor area was run down chairs torn and dirty . Games missing pieces and unable to accommodate kids playing . Hotel has no amenities and charges a resort fee that’s hysterical . This place needs a deep clean its smells in the elevators . I tried to get assistance at desk and the snooty front desk person was no help . Would never stay again felt ripped off and not worth it .

The weather was nice.

Hotel location is excellent right next to Pier 39. No dining breakfast option but iHop is just next door.
The renovation is nice but some of the older wear and tear in the hotel is required - the door to the parking on level 2 did not work.
Guests are given a s’mores package which is nice.
Games room is available but items are broken / not well maintained.
Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great family environment. Loved the thematic environment and the extra amenities:game room, fire pits, coffee makers in lobby, s’mores, water bottle filling stations, to name a few.

I like how close it was to everything, property can use a little make over in some areas bed was hard as concrete other then that the people were very professional and nice
8.0
The only negative is that they don’t explain or list the additional fees and parking charges. Parking is $65 a day. I parked my car a block away for $25 a day.

Amazing location and fun games, great music playing! If you're into indie rock.
Really need to renovate many areas of the hotel. The upholstery of the chairs by the firepits are ripped apart.
Like being at an old cottage.
