We stayed in the Trumpet Monkey room and it was great! super clean, comfy, cozy and had a very antique feeling with all the modern amenities you’d come to expect. definitely a great place to stay when visiting Delonegah!

Me and my sister stayed here, Mike the owner was great and super accommodating, we love the room and the balcony was great we sit on Halloween night and listen to the music show they had in the park and coffee the next morning.

The big room at the Hall house was fantastic! The pictures did not do it justice! We had such a pleasant surprise when we found the beautiful sunroom attached. Such a wonderful eclectic feel with the decor and style. Loved feeling like we stepped back in time. The room had so much space and was decorated to feel like you were staying in a friend’s home. The location couldn’t be better as well! Easy contactless check in and the Bourbon restaurant on site was delicious. Definitely will be back!

Nice room in perfect location down town. Air conditioning was overpowered by the very hot day.

I expected an old historic vibe and that is exactly what I got. I came for a funeral and much to my surprise, the funeral location was right next door to the place….very convenient.there are many restaurants to choose from, most within walking distance. No complaints from me.

The room was nice and comfortable and was located right in the city square.

It is an old building, parking is public, but ample, restaurant on site was delicious! was a little pricey for that room, considering not a holiday, or town event. TV did not work.

No front desk, can’t access room after hours.

Real problem getting bags to room, no staff available and lots of steps. Room was not comfortable. Hotel is not well identified in front. Restaurant was right outside our window on porch. Would not go here again.

It was clean, love the decor, the jetted tub and everything about the Piano Room. Mike and his crew are wonderful group of people!

This could be a cute boutique hotel, it is not. Clean, window air conditioning, decor is very eclectic . This is an old building that has lacked maintenance for 100 years. We should have stayed across the square at the Holiday Inn Suites.

No interaction with staff. Difficulties continuing them when code didn't work ypon arrival. Door did not lock automatically once in the room and the Wifi didn't work.

Hall House Hotel is always our selection when staying in Dahlonega. Directly on the square it is the perfect location to stroll around town. They never disappoint us. The rooms are phenomenal, nicely decorated, spacious, comfortable beds. The owner, Mike, is superb to work with. Check in is super easy. He is readily available if needed.

In the room it would be awesome to have luggage racks at least two in the room area and one in bathroom! I had to set my things on the chairs and I didn’t prefer to do that!
It was an awesome historical building! Would be great if the description told me that my room would be right in the middle of Bourbon St Grille- my room windows were right up against diners- I could hear them talking!
The good parts outweighed the above!

Our stay was wonderful! The room is beautiful and filled with the ambiance of Dahlonega. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay for a quick trip! We were only there one night, and it was so convenient to walk around a while, stop back at the hotel for a few minutes, and then head back out. My only concern was in regards to the door — while it locked, it was significantly cracked. I worried I would break it the first time I tried to open it! Other than that, the rest of Captain’s Quarters was spacious, comfortable, and accommodating.

Michael, the manager was fantastic. Organized and responsive. The property couldn't be more central to everything in Dahlonega. If you are looking for glam, this may not be your spot. Hall House is quirky and vintage, which was what we signed up for! We stayed in the Captain's Quarter and it is big. It has a little sitting room, as well as bedroom and ensuite bathroom. If interested, there is a claw foot tub in the bedroom. Heat works well, even with it set at low, we opened windows and cranked the ac to sleep comfortably ( in Feb.). That being said, we'd definitely stay again bc of uniqueness and convenience to downtown.

Restaurant was advertised as open until 8.
At 7:15PM we were advised restaurant closes at 7:PM. Heating inadequate.

Checked off a bucket list item for my wife. Surprised her with reservations at Hall House. And I think maybe snow falling coulda been the only thing to make the visit more festive and celebratory of the season. Downtown was beautiful and our room overlooking all the lights was perfect.

The hotel is conveniently located right in the town square so all of the activities are within a close walk. It is in a historic building, so both the facilities and amenities reflect that and would not be comparable to a newer, luxury hotel. Check-in with convenient but contactless and we never saw anyone associated with the hotel during our entire two day stay.
My only complaint - and it's a big one - is that the bed and mattress was terribly uncomfortable. I realize that bed comfort is very much in the eye of the beholder, but unless you like a very firm - and lumpy - mattress, you will not be happy with the mattress in Sarah's room. It was the most uncomfortable hotel mattress I have slept on in a long time. So much so that we drove home the second night rather than sleep another night on that mattress. Install a new mattress and my 4 star review turns into a 5 star review.

We had the Vineyard room and enjoyed how the room felt vintage. Just be aware that this means the floor is very creaky and definitely not level, but it is a cozy room.
Overall the stay was good since the location was very convenient, however the noise level was pretty bad. The noise level from the restaurant the hotel shares a building with was cleaning up well past 11 pm and the noise level in this room was particularly bad. Then, at 2 am someone else came into the restaurant and made even more noise. Finally, the restaurant will start preparing around 7-8 before opening. Just something you should be aware of ahead of time since it's just about impossible to get a full night's sleep.

Quaint place but a HUGE cockroach scurried across our floor shortly after returning from dinner. Pretty disgusting!

Like that everything was walking distance beautiful at Christmas. No close parking available had to walk with luggage. The pictures need update on their site the room that showed had a balcony that we thought we were going to be able to use but not so the room needs a little work tolit loose did not look like the same room in the picture and was way over priced I was disappointed about that.

Need towel tacks in the bathroom. Need creamer and stirrers for the coffee. TV control would not change channels.

The room was more like an apartment than a hotel room. There was a nice screened in balcony off the back.

The property was very convenient to restaurants and downtown square. I thought we were on 2nd floor but we had to go to 3rd floor. Difficult to find. Bed was uncomfortable and there was a steps in room to get to bathroom which was difficult to maneuver in the dark.

We arrived on 6 Nov and when to the room after a mixup on another room. We only had a shower, no tub. The bed was very hard as it had no box springs just a board type bed frame. I will say great service and Mr Miller was a good host.

What a lovely place. The Big Room was perfect. The decor and set up was amazing. The screened balcony porch was exactly what we needed to relax after our busy day. There is plenty of seating and comfy porch blankets to snuggle with too.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place with us.

Impeccable cleanliness! So much better than a hotel room! Perfect location and hope to stay there again next year.

We stayed in the Big Room and it was well worth the up cost for us as we were staying multiple days and could spread out. The room is fantastic and the bathroom large with real towels not small pieces of cloth to try to dry with. Extra make up mirror with stool even made it feel more like home. The outside seating area is on the back of the hotel, not the square but it was a great space to visit and not be cramped in a room. They texted us when our room was ready on check in day. The only slight drawback is the attached restaurant. If you are early to bed it might be a little loud depending who the customers are. They do close at 10 I believe. I used ear plugs and was great. Wonderful location to be able to walk everyplace and even just sit on the square people watching.

Could use new pillows

Lots of character but uncomfortable with people dining immediately outside bedroom and bathroom windows

Clean and comfortable! Easy to find with parking on site! We stayed in the Captains Quarters, even though this was off the main square the room was very quiet! The bed and pillows were very comfortable! Mike was wonderful to work with and was available when needed. Will definitely be back!

I stayed at the Hall House previously and enjoyed a lovely room. This time, however, my husband and I were in a room where people were dining outside our windows! I was very uncomfortable with people outside our bathroom and bedroom windows. There were curtains and blinds but it still didn't excuse the fact that others were right outside our windows.

A clean, safe, entertaining, and easy stay. Great experience!

We really enjoyed staying right on the square with the convenience of having everything close to us.
