Old and dated. Very small room and bathroom. No elevator. Had to climb 2 floor with bad knee. Would stay her again, over priced at $US 85. Last minute reservation. Will not stay here again.

We needed an early check-in as our tour ended and we stayed an extra night in Vic Falls. Wencilasis went above and beyond to help us out, with patience and a smile. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were well-maintained. Someone mentioned that the room was small—after 3 weeks camping around Southern Africa, ours was more than adequate! Shopping and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Would stay again!

This hotel is walkable to the falls. There is a great restaurant very close. The room was clean but tiny. Good value for money. My room was on the first floor and it was very noisy. I heard music from the pool bar and people in the lobby. I slept with ear plugs on.

Clean and great service. It was loud in the hallways though.

Great location a short walk from Vic falls town and the falls
Nice (small) pool great for cooling off
Laundry service was a godsend after a mobile safari!
Nice breakfast, you can also get nearby outside the hotel
The only downside was the taxi to the airport after our stay, a rickety old car with a smashed windscreen and no seatbelts, but it got us there ok

This Hotel is a great option if you want to be near shopping and dining. Had great recommendations on things to do from hotel staff. Staff was very nice and hospitable.

Great service! The guy at the front was very helpful. The rooms are nicely updated. I love the shower! It was definitely a comfortable stay with everything in walking distance with transportation services on site. Love it!

N1 was a good spot for a stopover hotel in Victoria Falls. The rooms were small but had all you needed for a decent sleep and shower after 5 weeks of camping. It is well located in town and close to great restaurants, brewery and the distillery. It is also 20mins walk to entrance of Vic Falls and other locations such as The Lookout Cafe. I didn’t use any facilities like the restaurant or pool as I spent most of my time enjoying other food locations in Vic Falls

There are only a few hotels close to Vic Fall, and this one worked for us. The staff was very accommodating, and we originally booked a double room (not sure if it was a true double bed or a queen/king). Turns out it was a double, and we are too tall for that - so they were able to move us to a room with 2 twins that worked better. The only shortcoming is lack of elevator and we were on the 2nd floor (and I had a hip problem, making the stairs somewhat difficult). They have same day laundry service ($5/bag) which was very nice. There are several places to eat and a craft market just outside. The room was very quiet. There were also taxis available outside to take us shopping or to the bridge/border to Zambia.

It was a very good stay, hotel is in a great location nearby all interesting sites

Overall the stay was neither here nor there.
The hot water geyser did not work properly - hot water came out for a few minutes then was cold. And the room was incredibly small - not that that can be changed.
The remote did not work, and what a mission to get the batteries changed.
The reception staff were friendly, and so was the housekeeping team!
Good budget stay overall and the location was great.

It was as expected in a country like Zimbabwe. The hotel was ok, nothing special. We just needed a place to stay for a couple of nights. The pool was disgusting though. Hadn't been cleaned in years by the look of it. The surrounding area was unsafe with hawkers everywhere harrassing you to buy stuff. Never venture out at night

Nice big room, well equipped, very friendly staff.

My sister and I stayed here for one night on two separate occasions in a twin room. We had both positive and negative experiences each time.
The reception staff were friendly and check in was quite smooth.
The hotel itself is well located, easy walking distance to the falls (though be careful of the wild animals if walking there), good food options close by (we visited both the brewery and the 3 monkeys. There is no shortage of markets or people trying to sell you stuff.
Our first room was clean and relatively spacious, with a number of powerpoints. The beds were worn more on one side than the otherbut still remained comfortable, though one was very squeaky if you moved during the night. The downside was there was no hot water. We WhatsApp the front desk, and they told us it would be on in half an hour, so we waited. 45mins later there was still no hot water so we had cold showers.
When we came back after our tour for a night, our room was a little smaller with limited power points. We did however have hot water which was nice. However, the roof above one bed in particular was covered in mould. Had we been staying more than one night i would have requested to move rooms as it is a health issue. The beds were again worn on the side away from the wall like the first room, a little squeaky but still comfortable.
I would recommend booking airport transfers elsewhere as ours did not go well.
There was a shop selling water etc which was handy

I stayed 1 night after a safari trek across southern Africa. The staff were great, the room acceptable, a light breakfast in the morning was appreciated. Everything in the room worked, the bed was comfy. An in-house store was handy for drinks/snacks. The location is great, near the Falls and the downtown shopping areas, craft market and restaurants. There is a pool, which looked nice, but i didn't use it.
I would recommend N1 for short stays. A very pleasant overnight!

Expectations were high given reviews.
Good value for money. Good location in terms of distance to Falls and other facilities.
Room disappointing. Poor lighting. Very poor air-conditioning. Average state of repair. Bathroom door would not close fully and was extremely noisy to open and close. I would stay again, but not in room 122.

15 minute walk to the falls, clean, wifi worked fine, breakfast off the menu was good, close to lots and lots of shops

This is a short walk to Victoria, Falls, and other activities in the town. Lots of tourist activities to do. Victoria Falls is full of people constantly hitting you up for things like purchasing stuff or giving them money. That gets old quickly, but the adventure as well worth it. Victoria Falls is one of the seven natural wonders of the world and this is a nice place to stay considering many places in Zimbabwe don’t have showers and air conditioning. I recommend staying here.

It was clean and had what you needed for a short visit. There wasn’t room for sorting luggage etc. good job I didn’t have a cat!! Very noisy from the live music at the pub. Breakfast expensive for what it was. Staff were lovely

N1 is well located central to shops and restaurants about 800m walk to the falls park entry. Our std double was compact functional and quite confortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked homestyle and economical. Very happy with the service

The rooms were very small there was no space for suitcases or walk around the room

Good for what you get. Within walking distance to the Falls and to lots of shopping and restaurants. I had a nice private room, very clean and modern, and I loved the terrace and the garden with the pool. Staff was helpfull.

Great location and does the job of being affordable and walkable in Victoria falls. I would just say that there’s no going the extra mile for customers, for example: not having change for breakfast they charge for, not having towels for the pool when they have signs that you should not use room towels for the pool etc. and they offered no alternate solutions…

Perfect location! Walking distance to all the shops and cafes. My room was clean and comfortable! The check in was breeze and the check in staff was very friendly and welcoming! 10/10 would reccomend

Superb Location was central-walking distance to OK supermarket, Vic Falls National Park, Three Monkeys and other restaurants, shops and tour operators offices. Wild Horizon tour operator has an office just next to reception. My floor was recently renovated which was great. Staff including at reception was excellent

Great place to stay!
4.0 / 10.0
My room was very dirty (particularly the bathroom) and very much in need of repair. There was very loud construction from 830am onwards that was not at all mentioned at the time of booking. The pricing was way too much for poor value. I will say the staff was kind and professional and I appreciated them accommodating 1 hour later check out for my flight time.

Decent value for the money, but rooms are quite small. It will do fine for one night's stay.
10.0 / 10.0
Great location as the hotel is on one of the main street for food and shopping. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The shower was powerful and space to turnaround.
The swimming pool was a 10sec walk from main reception.
I have nothing bad to say about this place. Yes it is cheap but clean, safe and easy to walk to and from places.

Hotel was very comfortable and convenient to the centre of town. They are in the process of renovating the rooms so will be nice once done. No evevators so need to be able to negotiate stairs, although they will carry your luggage up the stairs for you. Nice cheap breakfast available.
8.0 / 10.0
Great value for cost at this price point! The location is perfect with easy access to the falls/border, walking distance to anything in town and multiple restaurants for meals. Staff were attentive and friendly and always willing to help with any inquiries.
5.0 / 10.0
Super friendly hotel staff, location is good, in the center of the town, walking distance to the park entrance (10-15 min). Plain breakfast available for $5, not many choices, but helpful when in the rush. Very good and affordable restaurant right next door, the food was delicious. The room was ok (we had an upgraded option), daily housekeeping, free bottle of water, air condition worked well.
On the negative: very poor wifi. Our room was across the bar and music was very loud every day until 10:30pm. The music was very good, we truly enjoyed it, but it might be a problem for someone.
Hotel is located right by the local market, so it’s impossible to get to the hotel without local sellers following you and asking to buy things.
Overall we had a good stay
10.0 / 10.0
Clean room with AC, hot and powerful shower, kind and helpful staff, walking distance from Vic Falls, and walking distance to the best restaurants in town. You cannot beat the price here. I was beyond satisfied with my stay.
