Nothing liked. The room was so basic, no kettle to make a hot drink. Only a tv, bed, fridge in the room. Constant noise from trains all night.

Probably the most run-down and uncomfortably disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. The bed was clean, everything else was just nasty. The smell, the air quality, the general standard. The service was good though. I had initially booked a 5-night stay, but I had to cancel after one night, and I got a refund for the remaining four nights, fair and square, with no issue, which was noble and highly appreciated. I don’t understand why a place like this, with such a prime location does not shoot some money into refurbishments and upgrades? A fresh coat of paint and some new decor could really raise the value of this place, and they could charge more for rooms. The potential is there, use it!

My Dad always said " if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything". I will leave it at that.

This hotel gave me a worst experience ever. Cleanliness almost not existed. Stained carpets from the entrance to the top floor. Chairs you will not put your muddy boot's. Stained bedsheets and covers. And to top it mouse dropping..

This place should be more like £50/night. Pretty gross.

Room was decorated ok, no point in the tv as it would not tune in to anything. Bathroom was Average but the bottom of the shower curtain had black mould. We were not offered breakfast as stated, the hallway carpet had what looked like water stains. Although the hotel was reserved by card when we turned up there was a note up at reception stating that the machine was not working and rooms had to be paid in cash. I suspect this sign is always there. I know London prices are higher but it was not worth £107 for one night, especially as Bethnal Green itself does not have a lot to offer itself.

I had to pay with cash, using an ATM with a lot of loitering around. Wifi couldn't reach my room. It smelled of cigarettes in the halls. The underground shook the building as it went by.
Service was polite and friendly.

I knew upon booking the hotel and paying what I did it wouldn't be amazing however it was worse experience than I predicted.
1st I booked a park view but was given a room right by the train tracks. They did accommodate and move me.
2nd I asked how to turn on the aircon to be told that hasnt worked for years. I showed him the advert and he said he would update it.
3rd the room itself was not very clean and the fridge nearly made me sick. It was missing big patches of paint on the wall and was genuinely dirty.
4th the bathroom was 100% the worst piece. The floor was sunken around a drain. Loo took a lot of effort to flush. The shower had a broken pole holding it and the actual tap was only half there and had broken off. The advert said free toiletries but it only had hand wash. Nothing else so couldn't even shower. The electric socket was barely even there and rather that replace it they put sealer on it.
Oh and I think the reception must have been a curry house at some point as that's what it smelt like. Not awful but does make. You wonder if they ever cleaned the carpets.

Was the last okay priced room in the area. Didnt expect anything great and it wasn't. Basic room, with a squeaky hard bed and the train line going most of the night. There was a trip hazard going into the bathroom where they fitted a wetroom and didnt even the floor out.. which i tripped on several time. Lucky no permanent damage happened.

I'm not going to complain about my stay, as for one night was bearable.
But... Room wasn't cleaned for sone time, you can see. Fan above the bed was heavy with dust. My neighbours were using their rooms for one night stand, so ear plugs were necessary. Shame you can't open window property, but I presume it's for safety reasons.

Pretty sure the standard of facilities, particularly electrical work is not up to current regulations. If the electrics were in even a slightly worse condition this place would be shut down. Lucky we were cautious and the cover for the sockets didn’t come off as it was only taped on.

Was over priced and place smelled funny couldnt dicribe the smell but would never stay here again

I have already replied to an email from Expedia asking me how my experience was and if I was happy with the booking and hotel. The truth is. Unfortunately I didn’t have one. My review stated how appalled I was with Expedia handling my reservation and the customer service provided which was non existent. In the end there was no booking once arrived at the hotel, after it had been confirmed due to Expedia misinforming. It was one of the worst experiences, I was left stranded without anywhere to stay before waiting around for ages to sort out their mistake. I was then told they couldn’t help me and that was that I was left to rectify the situation they put me myself. In future I would not use Expedia as I cannot trust that they will provide the end result and deliver the service they say they do as I have had first hand experience of it. I have lost all faith in them. Expedia if you can kindly please find that review that I recently replied to on an email and post it. It would be handy for others just to get an insight of what could be. Also I was told that someone will get back to me I still haven’t heard anything if you could please chase that up. Thank you

Location of this B&B is excellent, right next to Bethnal Green tube with plenty of late opening supermarkets and shops.Facilities were under maintained, bed sheets may have been changed but vacuuming was clearly not well done as previous lodgers rubbish could be found. TV was positioned such that only one person could properly see it, a Sky Box was attached but can only display free channels and I think the box wasnt properly tuned as picture quality was very grainy.Room itself was very big, more than enough for two. Same with bathroom/toilet. Has both bath and shower with the shower having a very decent water pressure to have a comfortable shower. Room also comes with a fridge and kettle plus two separate lamps though neither seems to be working, one doesnt even have a light bulb. Two chairs but the chairs looked very dirty. No working desk except one low level but large coffee table looking furniture, usable for PC work but not extended periods.Overall, for the price, highly recommended for convenience.

This is THE worst place I have ever stayed.
I really don't know how this place can call itself a 'hotel' a hostel is cleaner. It was advertised with air conditioning....there was none, a fan on the wall. We were placed on the top floor without a city view and the tube kept running every few minutes. There was a kettle but no other amenities. Was supposed to have toiletries provided, there was one small bar of soap. The bathroom had a drain in front of the toilet and washbasin which made the floor unstable and there was only enough hot water for one shower, my partner was subjected to a cold shower. The room was filthy, broken and dirty furniture so much so, although breakfast was included we refused to eat there. Disgusting place!!!!
