I understand this was a small motel but the room was NOT clean and there was an odor that we could not pinpoint. This was not worth the money I was charged for such a subpar room.

The 4 day stay was flawless from check in through check out. The room was clean although dated. The service was great, stay was comfortable and quiet.

1. The room is small in size and next room activities are heard, needs soundproofing. 2. Bed sheet had a yellow spot. 3. Primitive door lock! Needs replacement. 4. Sink’s water drainage system is poor. 5. Located at a convenient place.

Simple clean and cheep. Breakfast was great.

The room was very well cleaned, and the check-in was fast and friendly. We were disappointed that the “Mountain View room“ only had a small window instead of the big picture window shown in their advertisement photo. No vanity in the bathroom, only a sink and the top of the toilet to put our toiletries on. The furniture was fine, but the upholstery on the chairs was stained and the plastic cover on one badly torn. The continental breakfast was nice; cereal, bagels, toast, Golden Malted waffles, and juice. Regular coffee, no decaf. No protein, (except yogurt on the weekends, and we were there on a weekday.) overall, a positive experience. I felt like the price was excessive for what we got, but compared to everything else in the area for the leaf viewing time of year, it was OK.

Clean room and comfortable bed - good value for the money. Continental breakfast provided (including a waffle maker). Close to Bonnie & Clyde’s for dinner and Beacon 443 for a hot breakfast.

The motel is in a very convenient location to the Mahoning Drive-In. The staff were very nice and the room was larger than I expected. The room was clean but 2 of the towels had brown stains on them. I would stay here again if in the area.

The hotel is a older hotel. When I went to check in, I thought OH no, when we got to our room, yes it is an older hotel but everything was nice and clean and very quiet, I would stay again. Nice refrigerator and micro. Coffee maker.

Decent place to stay, older motel look outside but nicely updated inside. Near Jim Thorpe so many historic attractions. Also had listing in room for nearby restaurants and diners, which we took advantage of.

Comfortable hotel offer self-serviced breakfast and brew coffee in the morning. Very clean and friendly. Wishlist: more eco-friendly by not using polystyrene form or plastic at breakfast ; not using small bottles of shampoo.

Breakfast was pretty much non-existent. Not as advertised. Only one key given. Door hard to open. No counter space in bathroom. Could hear neighbors next door. Musty-smelling. Pretty much run down. Too much money for what you get. Only stayed one night (thank goodness) so cannot comment on staff and service.

A dated room but otherwise clean and comfortable. Front desk service was friendly and efficient.

As a low priced motel, we knew not to expect much, but were still disappointed. Terrible air freshener (cover up) smell upon entering, then an odor from the AC/heater made them unusable. We had to leave the door open to stay cool. Phone did not work. Nothing edible for breakfast. Receptionist was very helpful and sweet!!

This is a very convenient motel near Jim Thorpe. It is an older motel, but is clean and comfortable. It is also affordable. We have stayed here many times. There is also a nice restaurant for breakfast next door.

The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The spacious room was immaculate. As the location was convenient to Jim Thorpe, the Mahoning Inn was great value for the dollar.

It's an Older place, But it was Quiet, And the Staff was Friendly. And it's within Walking Distance of the D & L Trail which Runs along the Lehigh River.

It was a nice stay. I would definitely go back. We enjoyed it

Stick the beds bathroom in bad shape Really disappointed

We were given room 28 next to the "storage garage". It was very small and even older. The stand up shower was incredibly small. Absolutely not worth the $87 I paid. Pictures on website WERE NOT OF ROOM 28!!!

Nice scenic area. The beds are a bit too firm but the pillows are very soft. Like some spots in rural areas, its a bit old school but has all the basics covered. Not a fancy hotel, however, really was a decent place to stay. Friendly folks too!

Property was clean! That is where it ended. IF you like 'see-through toilet paper, poor coffee, AC that is difficult to operate, luke warm water........then this is the place for you.

The breakfast inclusion is key... A bit pricey overall tho to be honest.

Staff was very nice. Easy check in and problems (TV) addressed immediately and courteously. Property is dated. Door has no deadbolt. Quiet.

Avoid at all costs, definitely not worth the money. This place charges hotel rates and it's not hotel quality. This is nothing more than a dirty ran down motel. Cigarette burn holes on drapes , shower was disgusting, old . Marks on the walls. Not hotel quality. Don't believe the other reviews. Not worth the money I paid. Also they offer a breakfast. Hotel quality breakfast was definitely not there. You will get a cup of coffee that's it. No eggs or bacon like you would expect after staying in a hotel. You have been warned. Check your bank account for any mysterious fees . From other reviews they charge you extra. Just FYI
